GOP Poll: Buchanan crushing Jennings in CD13

The NRCC's 3/5-6 internal poll shows U.S. Rep. Vern Buchanan beating Christine Jennings 53%-37%. "Jennings is perceived to be a sore loser, and her negative image has driven her vote down,'' said the memo from pollster Public Opinion Strategies.

umm, duh?

No chance she'll beat U.S. Rep. Vern Buchanan.

She should have let the last election go long ago.

What a ton of right wing propoganda!!!
I hope Vern did not sign any long term lease in Northern Virginia. Look to the Democratic win in Denny Hastert's old district as a harbinger of what is to come in Sarasota.Gus Bilirakis will not be facing some Emily's List used to be county commissioner before the internet age candidate who Debbie Waserman Schulze shoved down our throats. John Dicks has a gun rack and a drawl and a stronger base in the Hillsbororugh part of a Hillsborough district. That race in the 9th will be quite a tilt. Possibly though (and quite)The GOP is going to be HOOVERIZED. The state of American standing around the world is not the only thing adversley mutated by the disaster of the last eight years. The Republican party still whining to "keep the tax cuts permanent" is in danger of being discareded into a well deserved ashcan of history. The Bush recession will have thoroughbread legs by November of 2008. Jennings is NOT perceived as a sore loser by anyone other than the minority of Buchanan voters (the rabid ones. Jennings will win...comfortably. The 9th is a tossup.

Dear hobson-thats who!,
Please take your meds or put your tinfoil hat back on. Your rants are atrocious.
The race for CD-13 shows that without a nasty GOP primary, Republican voters will support their party candidate. Jennings sadly mistook their abstaining in 2006 as some conspiracy. She will get wallopped this year, and deservedly so.

"L"

There is one thing voters cannot stand, and that is a SORE LOSER.

Christine Jennings political future may be over.

Oh, did they poll the 18,000 people who magically didn't vote for congress seat 13 on that 2006 ballot?

Some of you dont know what you are talking about. Jennings is not a sore loser and the election machine review was valid, as Sarasota DC 13 has been having voting problems every election with these machines for over 4 YEARS. And they started with these same machines in Miami Dade.

When Browning gets done playing the objective Secretary of State, I wonder if all you people can google like I did. Since 2004, he has been CHAIRMAN of the ES&S voting machine Users' Group.

The old Sec of State Cook had Elections Supervisor Drury in Tally actually be told by ES&S HOW to do an audit when the lawsuit was filed, and WHAT TO NOT INCLUDE or SAY on the report when it was finished. That actual letter from 2006 is online and copied from the Brad report.

Sadly, and last, the ACTUAL SARASOTA MACHINES were never tested from Sarasota, only ones in Tallahassee. Now if there was a software code or download screw up that accured during the counting, LIKE OCCURED in 2002 in Sarasota with the same company machines, you didnt test the ACTUAL GROUP of machines.
The 2002 info was avaliable from a 2003 lawsuit deposition taken. Ask Becky Glover and Gisele, and all their little friends that blamed everything on a corporate trainer they fired for telling the Commissioners the truth. And the Sheriffs had to help orchestrate the voting machines for the rest of the year.

Some of you need to read. In 2002, these same company machines were so screwed up that Jeb Bush, when the company didnt have download cables, Jeb ordered the machines TAPED CLOSED WITH TAPE and shipped to a wharehouse for later counting. There was no invesntory of what machine number corresponded with what precinct.

A repudlican poll is news?

Of course the machines suck. THat's why we got rid of them.

POS is a good polling firm. Gene Ulm is a real pro.

Christine Jennings is a sore loser and a crybaby. I'm sure even after she loses again she will contest the election costing the taxpayers even more money.

Actually, the machines worked perfectly, and they were validated in numerours rechecks, Repubican and Democrat. We got rid of them in a ferver of voter backlash caused by Jennings and her minions who were unhappy with the results. even the Democrat apponited committee concluded that there were no problems with the machines. Jennings is toast over this issue alone. IRS problems will torpedo whatever remaining credibility she might salvage.

How much does it cost to buy "Public Opinion"?

POS??? Ha Ha Ha! Says it all. (Sorry)

Those of you who are naive enough to think that those voting machines worked well and everything is rosy should check into "blockboxvoting.com".
People who fight for their rights are true Americans, not sore losers.
