Thurman: Need candidates for election

Florida Democratic Party chairwoman Karen Thurman said today that any new mail-in re-vote election requires the participation of both candidates. She called the idea a "non-starter" without full participation.

Thurman held a press conference laying out all the details of the plan. When asked how likely it is that the mail-in ballot election would occur, based on current input and obstacles, she said: "I don't know. I have a feeling it's getting close to not than yes."

Baby, give it up!

Dear Republican Consultant …err … FDP Chair,

We don’t need to waste any more time, resources, wine-breath, or tax dollars on this freaking moronic idea. Your time to spit-up about this came and went… and you and Chuck blew it… figuratively of course… well, then again… never mind.

The answer is really quite simple. Count the votes as votes, split the delegates 50/50… and move the freak on. Now… shut your chardonnay slide and get back to work for our opposition.

Sincerely,

Florida Democrats

The AP article included this flash of brilliance from Karen Thurman:

"If this becomes something that we can't do, then we can't do it," Thurman said.

Thurman translation:

D-D-Deeeeeee!

WHAT! "Thurman held a press conference laying out..."

Ewwwwwwwwwwwww....

Karen: would it be too much to ask you to tender your resignation now? You've been completely ineffective in your post. Can we have a mail-in vote to determine your replacement? I'm sure we would all go for that!

What is the FDP doing in Tallahassee? I've heard nothing about our campaign against John McCain. When will we start to work towards that?

We knew last year the results of our state breaking the rules - "NO GO Florida" - so what has change? What is Karen and the staff doing to be justifying their pay?

Get to work lady.

What kind of election requires the permission of the candidates to be held?

I was mislead to believe in America the voters decide who the candidate are not that the candidates decide who the voters are.

The Democratic Party is many things, but democratic it ain't.

FIRE KAREN THURMAN!!!!!

I am a Florida Democrat and prior to the PRimaries, I KNEW the votes wouldn't count. Thurman was arrogantly PROMISING the world Florida's delegates would be seated but she was as usual talking out of her A*S. How is it that a few spotlight-grubbing egomaniacal party functionaries can screw it up for not just Fla. Dems but ALL Democrats nationally!! Let's teach her and her cronies a lesson and put them out of politics PERMANENTLY!!

FIRE KAREN THURMAN!! FIRE KAREN THURMAN!!

It's St. Patty's Day...I think we all know where to find Karen.
