DNC to hear FL Dem appeals on May 31
Three days before the final voting in the Democratic primary, the DNC's rules and bylaws committee will take up Jon Ausman's challenges to the committee's stripping FL of all its delegates. The committee members will have an informal dinner in DC Friday, the 30th, and then take up the issue most of the next day.
Most nose counters think more RBC members are Clinton backers than Obama backers.
TO: DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee Members
FROM: Alexis Herman & Jim Roosevelt, Jr., Co-Chairs
DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee (RBC)
SUBJECT: Meeting Announcement–May 31, 2008
DATE: April 25, 2008
Realizing that members have very busy schedules, we wanted to notify you as soon as possible that the RBC will meet on Saturday, May 31, 2008 in Washington, D.C. We are asking members to arrive on Friday, May 30, 2008 in time for a private informal dinner with us. While we expect the RBC meeting to last most of the day on Saturday, we are asking members not to make their departure plans until Sunday.
The main item of business on the Committee’s agenda will be the consideration of two pending challenges.
We hope you are able to attend this very important RBC meeting. Further information, including meeting agenda and meeting logistics, will be forwarded to you in the near future.
Please note that this is an official meeting of the RBC. Therefore, we would like to remind members of the attendance requirement established in the Bylaws (Article Two, Section 10.(g)). Members who miss three consecutive RBC meetings are deemed to have resigned from the Committee. Registering a proxy, while important for establishing a quorum and assuring your vote is represented, does not count for the purpose of attendance at a meeting.

Count Florida’s votes as votes, split Florida’s Delegates 50/50, discount Michigan’s inequitable Primary completely, split Michigan’s Delegates 50/50, fire Howierd Dunce, kick the Republican Consultant (Thrmadrunk) to the curb, and vote every incumbent out of office.
Problem Solved!

Great leadership Screamin' Dean! Your plan is to wait until then in hope that the nomination is already locked up - one way or another. If Hillary wins, they'll discount it. If Ubama wins, they'll discount it. Don't cry when your appeal is shot down in flames.

Florida has a right to schedule it's election any time it wants like Iowa & South Carolina.
Count our votes or face the consequences in Nov.

So they'll hold off any decision until after all the primaries have fixed as many pledged delegates as possible in hopes that Florida can be "reinstated" without mattering.
If we'd matter, be sure we won't count.
It is absurd that party officials and candidates are discussing which voters should count. In a democracy, the voters decide, not the candidates or the hacks.
The Democratic Party is not democratic. The self-called "party of civil rights" is the largest voider of votes in American history with the single exception of Jim Crow itself.
What a clown pile of gormless morons. Who could have any respect at all for them?
Why do we expect leaders who emerge from such a process will be worth having?
