Ken Pruitt: Good guy. But come on, man.
Click here to listen to that Ken Pruitt radio ad Buzz told you about yesterday.
The spot is straightforward in tone and says Sen. Pruitt has served well "for many years." But it carries the tacit accusation that Pruitt's stubbornness is to blame for the Legislature's failure to hear a plan to cap property taxes at 1.35 percent of taxable value. As Senate President, Pruitt has declared that his chamber will not take up major property tax measures this session.

Tomorrow, after he tells the 1.35% crowd to stick their idea 100% up their . . . , the ad will change to call him a liberal communist baby killing facist who wants nothing more than to destroy the ability for Florida families to survive and pay their bills.

Nothing Like an elected official telling the citizens to stick their idea 100% up their . . . I'm wondering if Ken Pruitt is in this guys pocket as well!
When did elected officials stop caring about what the citizens want?

"When did elected officials stop caring about what the citizens want?"
When we curtailed term limits and let the lowlife lobbyists in the door.

Be happy with your measly $240 as Crist's promise that this was just the beginning is just another false promise.

I can’t wait for my $240… I’m gonna combine with the $300 that Dubya borrowed from China for me, and buy $540 worth of lead-based, poisonous junk made in China, to help their economy and defunk ours even more.
Thans Chuck and Dubya! Hey, that has a kick to it… “Chuck & Dubya’s” A gay bar for drunks.

2:23 Haw Haw You saw the CNN story too!
Chinese Govt IS a bunch of goons! I can't wait to see if owning half of our national debt (thanks to W and greedy US INC) is enough to get them an apology they don't deserve.
(We've already seen that they can force our fearless leader to put in an appearance at the opening ceremonies.)

Here here now. Stop criticizing our elected officials. They have expenses to cover and thus the need for additional tax dollars. There's the new Mercedes payment. Private school for the kids. Investigative missions to the Hamptons. Fact-gathering in Paris. Lobbyists to entertain.
I am thankful that I am overtaxed just on my property. I pay almost $1000 taxes on one acre of timberland near Floral city. It's just an investment for me, but hey, someone could possibly use it some day for a fancy schmancy residence with kids that need schools, adults that need libraries and cars that need roads. Someday. Who knows.
I'm ashamed that I am not taxed for my other investments, like my cd's that could be quickly and sneakily converted into tax-gathering real estate at my slightest whim.
Yes, lay off these hard-working legislators. They know what's best for us.

Let Rubio try and put it on the ballot like everybody else. If the people really want it, it should be no problem...oh, that's right the Florida Chamber's number one priority this session is to shut down the initiative process so it would be tough for Rubio. Oh poor speaker, which group to pander too? The South Florida bunch who can't see anything beyond quick fix sloganeering on taxes or the powerful Chamber. What to do...what to do.

As a lobbyist, I would like to confirm that term limits was the greatest thing to ever happen . . . for me.

If anybody remembers, or cares about the slave apology bill, or whatever they named it, should take a look at this article. Form your own conclusions.
