Compromise looming on Fl delegates?
In a sign that the impasse over giving Florida a voice in the Democratic nomination finally may be breaking, both Democratic presidential campaigns are starting to broach compromise plans publicly. Democratic National Committee member Allan Katz of Tallahassee said the Barack Obama campaign authorized him to suggest to the Florida Democratic Party on Friday that it propose a compromise plan that would let Hillary Rodham Clinton net about 10 delegates out of Florida. He got nowhere with the state party, but on Sunday the Clinton campaign for the first time signaled publicly that it might accept something other than Florida's getting all of its delegates seated at the convention.
"The party took away 100 percent of the delegates. The rule is 50 percent,'' Clinton campaign chairman Terry McAuliffe told Tim Russert on NBC's Meet the Press on Sunday. "Had they only taken away 50 percent like the Republican Party did, Tim, you and I would not be having this conversation today."

Count Florida’s votes as votes, split Florida’s Delegates 50/50, discount Michigan’s inequitable Primary completely, split Michigan’s Delegates 50/50,, fire Howeird Dunce, kick the Republican consultant (Thurmadrunk) to the curb while you’re at it, vote every incumbent out at your first available chance.
And Now; I will never do business with Magnolia Park or Centex.
Axe the pop ups!
Problem Solved!

NO.
Go by the DNC own rules.
Seat all delegates give them each half of a vote based on the January 29 election that was held and count ALL of the votes in the process.
READ the DNC own rules and Obama's campaign need to stop changing the rules and giving the wrong information to the public.

Molly is 100% corrrect. There is no rule that allows for sanctioning all of our delegation. The MSM and the Obama campaign with the help of Donna Brazil. Have been making up rules that can not be inforced. Give each pledged Delegate a 1/2 vote, as per the DNC rules. The DNC can not change the popular vote count in FL or MI either. These were elections held by our States and certified by our Sec. of State's in FL and MI.
So, actually Hillary is slightly down in the popular vote... which will change Tues. May 13th and she will be ahead in Popular Vote and Super Delegates.
This election is not over and since neither candidate can reach the number of delegates to be declared the nominee... I say "Shame on the MSM and the Obama camp" for trying to end this process prematurly. You are very likely influencing people in the states that have yet to vote, that they are wasting their time. And that couldn't be further from the truth.

The DNC rules WERE 50% delegates lost. However, wasn't it also the DNC Rules COmmittee that changed it to 100%? Doesn't that not make 100% the NEW RULE?

NO... it was never written or incorporated, into the bylaws of the DNC rules pertaining to penalities for violating the primary date schedule.
As the bylaws written to date, only 1/2 of the delegates are allowed to be stripped.
And the Credentials committee can override that as well, and vote to recognize all of the delegates from FL and/or MI.

Allan, do you think Obama will listen to you when Iran attacks Israel and Obama just wants to "talk" to them about it?

12:29, do you think McSame will listen to you when Iran doesn't attack Israel and McSame just wants to let his corporate buddies profit more from the death of young American men and women, and goes to war for no reason... AGAIN?

Whichever candidate willfire Bernanke, and appoint a Fed chair who has the cojones to raise the rate, has my vote.
The last time we worried about gas prices, food shortages, and inflation was in the late 1970's.
How did we curb it? Fed raised the rates.
