Crist and McCain headed to Disney
The Buzz is Gov. Charlie Crist will head to Disney World on June 5 with pal John McCain, who is appearing at the annual convention of Florida newspaper editors. McCain is slated to speak from 2 to 3:15 p.m. Before that, he has a private fundraiser in Orlando.
McCain begins his latest Florida trip on June 4, with a fundraiser at the Vinoy in St. Pete. On June 6, he heads to Miami for more money making, which will be followed by a public event somewhere in the area.

What?? What is this? Our Governor spending time with McCain? No. I don't believe it.

If Crist is the VP candidate then you have lost my vote McCain.
Crist needs to come out of the closest as well.

Disney??? How nice!!! As the middle class is being forced into the working poor and fearful of losing jobs and homes our fearless Governor looks wonderful!!!!
So glad that there aren't more important things to be working on - like EDUCATION, TAX REFORM, PROPERTY TAXES, PIP, and increasing our fuel INDEPENDENCE!!!!
Could they be doing a better job of shooting themselves in the foot if they tried????
Sheesh - we will remember in November.

What an appropriate venue for Charlie. Maybe it's the gay day parade?

Just another speech, just another day
Not even a story here - Crist will not be VP, but he will support his party's Prez candidate. Again, no surprise.
It is amusing how previous posts above attempt to conjure images that lobbyists and politicians will be laughing the day away in the Disney parks. Seems ignorant; maybe they don't know how the fundraising process works. Nice venue (Grand Floridian) = more $$$$. Dining and golfing - that's the way it works!

Why would the Governor of Florida go to Disney World and take the Republican Nominee during the known GAY WEEK at Disney even if the Florida Newspapers have their annual convention then?
Do they not care what the voters or financial supporters think?
GAY WEEK at Disney World in Orlando is JUNE 3-9th, 2008
Neither Gov.Crist nor Senator McCain should go there during that time.
Someone should alert the scheduler at the STRAIGHT talk express

Disney is the perfect place for Chuck.
After all, he is a mickey mouse governor!
also, he can hide his true identity behind his costume.

Good work.
That is the real story. Trying to broaden the GOP tent, huh?

If Crist does sign on as McCain's VP, could he *please* appoint two new State Supreme Court justices so Kottkamp doesn't get to replace the Jeb! folks with more knuckle-draggers? Pretty please?

Wow, I haven't been on these forums in a while. They sure have gotten juvenile. A bunch of sad angry juvenile people railing against a computer screen. I guess the one or two good, informative posts make it still worthwhile....
