Cyclist: I've never met a real, live governor!

Ken Magyar, an 88-year-old cyclist from Orlando, added little levity to a Florida Cabinet meeting on Tuesday when he announced to Gov. Charlie Crist: "I've never met a real, live governor before."

"Well, today is your day. I'm alive," Crist said to Magyar who was among those receiving a special resolution in honor Bike Florida, a nonprofit that encourages cycling across the state.

And then the white-haired cyclist complimented Crist's hair: "I wish I had hair like yours." And Crist answered, "you do."

Sorry, Ken - you will have to wait a bit longer to meet a real, livee Governor

The old geezer should have said, "I've never met a real, bad governor before." That would be more like it.

We have a Governor? Why weren’t we told about this?

So this is what Crist did with the alloted five minutes he will actually be spending in Florida this month? Darn. And I was hoping he would spend that time finding new revenue streams to raise our schools up to the level we have come to expect from Mississippi. Or buy me a pony.

Good schools or a pony.

Remember Kids; you’ve got to have a goal!

… and 50th in the Nation in Egimucation is a goal!

Nope, he's only met a real, live empty suit.

too late, pal...LAWTON left the building a LOOOOOONG time ago!!

liars and criminals we got, tho!!

Knowing Charlie's track record, I'm worried that it wasn't Lance Armstrong. Charlie never misses a good photo op, and I'm shocked he did it with a octagenerian instead of Lance.
