2088? I aged 80 years this session? I will have to say it does feel like it

Don't they check for typo's???
Posted by: | May 02, 2008 at 09:54 AM
Thank goodness...When they leave town, they can't screw anything up.
Good riddance, idiots.

I think the type-o is a Freudian slip. They meant that it would be 2088 before this group of criminal dipsticks could accomplish anything of substance.

They were talking about who would be Speaker in 2088...

I thought this was going to be a spoof along the lines of "1984"!!!

It's kind of funny how modern Florida with 18 million residents has its state government still headquartered in the remote cowtown of Tallahassee.
BTW...That "new" capitol building sure is an ugly eyesore to have planted in the quaint downtown Tallahassee. Of course if it wasn't there, there would be no downtown-it would be a ghost town.

There is a plaque in the 1st floor of the Capitol commemorating a Florida Senator whose "valiant attempts to move the capital to Orlando were the impetus for constructing this building"
When Reubin the Good (Askew), the non-drinking non-smoking Presbyterian Governor approved the final design, do you think he cared about it's "phallic" appearance?!

Wow, the Legislature does the same thing in 2088 as it does now: nothing of substance.

If you're driving west on Apalachee Pkwy, the Capital Building looks like a giant fallic sysmbol - which becomes more and more appropriate with each passing session.

oh geez - pen** jokes about the capitol bldg - how clever, how original, like we've never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever heard those jokes before - you bunch of dorks

Given the appearance of the Capitol from Apalachee Parkway, it's a wonder the Legislature didn't discuss banning everyone from viewing the building from that direction, since it could be considered offensive to some, you know. I'm just sayin'.
