Jimmy Carter disses FL Dems
AP: BURBANK, Calif. -- Former President Jimmy Carter says delegates from Florida and Michigan should not be counted at the Democratic National Convention because they "disqualified themselves." On "The Tonight Show" Wednesday, Carter also warned of a disaster if party insiders try to wrest the nomination from the candidate with the largest number of votes and state victories.
"It would be a catastrophe for the party," Carter told Jay Leno.

Not a bigger catastrophe than you yourself were and continue to be, "Jimmuh."

It's hilarious that the guy who goes around the world to promote fair elections in other countries doesn't want votes in America to count. Couldn't expect any less from the worst president in history.

I hate to bring all you partisan hacks back to reality, but Carter is absolutely right.
“because they "disqualified themselves."
All you pinheads running around b*tching and screaming now, were nowhere to be seen when these limpsticks in Tally Town pulled this off. And by the way, you voted for it too.
So, shut you damn mouth and wait for November like the rest of us.

why do people keep giving air and press time to these losers. While I am not a fan of Hillary, or BHO for that matter, its funny how all the losers like McGovern and Kerry keep telling her to quit.

I will not be lectured by the worst president of the 20th century. Jimmy Carter was an embarassment. I still say Reubin Askew would have made a better President.

Carter is a saint compared to the moron in the White House today.
Tell me Blue Dawg; where were you when the Legislature passed the Primary move?

Jimmy carter was a horrible president and now he wants to negotiate a peace deal with Hamas terrorists. Who cares what he thinks.
Posted by: | May 08, 2008 at 09:43 AM
Dubya IS a horrible president and now he wants to a war deal so his corporate buddies can profit. Who cares what he thinks.
... and I highly doubt you have the first damn clue what Hamas even means.

Hey 9:45, it's gotta be tough to be an expert on Hamas and Middle Eastern affairs from your mom's basement.

Jimmy's just following the same strategy he has in every other election he's certified... screw the people for his own glory. If the road to Hell is paved w/ good intentions gone bad, Carter's laid a highway.

Jimmy Carter has always been about one thing and one thing only..Jimmy Carter. His lifelong goal of a Nobel Peace Prize. He so wants to be influential and that sad pathetic truth is he is not.
He failed as President and is the reason for the Republicans rise to power in the 80's and 90's. Watergate was devastating to the Republican Party. We had them where we wanted them only to have Carter squander an opportunity. Oh to have had Bill Clinton or a President with some actual leadership during that time.
So forgive me if as a Democrat I have no stomach for anything James Earl Carter Jr. has to say.

All I remember is that Jimmy Carter was an embarassment. He was an embarasment then and he is one now too.
Posted by: | May 08, 2008 at 10:43 AM
All any of us will remember is that Dubya IS an embarassment. He IS an embarasment now and he will forever be.

Carter was an embarrasment, Bush is an embarrasment and Osama Obama will also be an embarrasment. I'm going with the least likely embarrasment--John McCain.
Posted by: | May 08, 2008 at 10:55 AM
Carter was an saint compared to Bush, who is an embarrasment, and Osama Obama will be a great leader. I'm going to pass on the most likely to repreat the Bush embarrasment--John McSame.

Yes, Jimmuh is an embarrassment. Always has been and alwayays will be. But thru all the criticisms, he is still a Dem. Going froward, it looks like the Dem candidate will be the same thing. The reason I say that is because during Carter's run in the '70's, this country was looking for an outsider and Jimmuh was the only one running at the time who was an "outsider". No you have another Dem-Nobama-running on the same theme. He is getting ready to lead this country down the toilet if elected. He plans transfer wealth from this country, in the amount of some $50 Billion to Africa to fight poverty. Last time I checked, we have enough of that here. He plans to allow the illegals to run rampant, costing each and every state Billions of $, and plans draw up legislation that allows homosexuals the same protections as people of race. For what it's worth, no great civilization in history has ever progressed past the point where homosexuality became an accepted norm. This is your candidate! By pulling the lever for him only accelerates the U.S.' decline as a great civilization. Say what you will, but these are the facts. Look them up and decide for yourself if you want the govt sending your money to the third world when it's needed here, and allowing a dispicable subculture to run rampant in open society.

If Carter was president during the 9-11 attack, he would have apologized to Obama and said "We deserved that thanks!"
Posted by: | May 08, 2008 at 09:04 PM
Hillary lost because she thought she was going to be ushered into the nomination. She was too easy on her opponents. Well maybe McCain can learn from this major error and make a house negro out of him from the get-go.

Sigh! Jimmy Carter is the poster child for the ancient Eskimo practice of Senilicide.
