Putnam in Iraq
U.S. Rep. Adam Putnam, the third-ranking House Republican, made a surprise visit to Baghdad today with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and other House members.
The group was en route to Israel to celebrate that nation's 60th birthday when they made the detour. They met with Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, U.S. Ambassador Ryan Crocker and Gen. David Petraeus, the top U.S. commander in Iraq and President Bush's pick to lead U.S. Central Command in Tampa.
They were scheduled to continue the trip to Israel later today. Read more here.

The pea-brained little keyboard Dubya lemmings like the one that posted at 3:16 are part of the reason America has lost it's leadership role in the world.
