Putnam in Iraq

U.S. Rep. Adam Putnam, the third-ranking House Republican, made a surprise visit to Baghdad today with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and other House members.

The group was en route to Israel to celebrate that nation's 60th birthday when they made the detour. They met with Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, U.S. Ambassador Ryan Crocker and Gen. David Petraeus, the top U.S. commander in Iraq and President Bush's pick to lead U.S. Central Command in Tampa.

They were scheduled to continue the trip to Israel later today. Read more here.

how many flak jackets, armed guards and choppers is this p.o.s wearing or utilizing?

you can damnbetcha he will get to SEE everything...his military handlers want him to see and NOTHING MORE!!

hows 'bout leaving him behind and sending some kid with a life ahead of herself or himself -- better than being a pimp for a LYINGDRUNK -- back home safely and in one piece??

The hate-filled little keyboard gremlins like the one that posted above are part of the reason politics in the US is now so divisive and contentious. Responsible people regardless of party affiliation should reject this type of vicious, scurrilous rhetoric.

U.S. Rep. Adam Putnam?

Serve in the military?

Another Next Gingrich, Richard Cheney and George W. Bush?

The pea-brained little keyboard Dubya lemmings like the one that posted at 3:16 are part of the reason America has lost it's leadership role in the world. Responsible people regardless of party affiliation will vote for new leadership and not the Mcsame old sh_t... and reject the politics of fear type of vicious, scurrilous rhetoric.

3:16 - you might as well talk to swine. They might listen better.

Where's Katherine Harris when you need her?!

I'm voting for Doug Tudor!!! Bye Bye Adam-the-bush-enabler!

http://teamtudor.org

his wife would be considered sexy in saudi arabia. i wondered if he showed them pictures of her.

Where's Katherine Harris when you need her?!

But what could we possibly need her for anymore?

She is a worn-out punching bag that has totally lost its punch.

Gees, stay classy Dems.

Poor Opie, I hope someone gave him an adult diaper to wear. The little boy needs to serve in the military, he is so unfit to be in the company of real heroes.

He is another example of the Republican Party going down the tubes. Come back to Polk county and run for a statewide seat so we can continue to drive people to the Democrats. Oh, and bring Fred Thompson with you. What a putz!

Are any of these visits really a "suprise" anymore? At best, they are not announced so that terrorists don't have time to attack.

How did this nitwit become the third ranking Repub in the House? Does anyone know? He's Opie with hair.

He oughta stick with the cattle shows in Polk and leave Iraq to the men.
