RPOF welcomes back Obama
The state GOP has put some creative effort into its countdown for the return of Barack Obama to Florida. Check it out.
"Florida voters deserve to know why Barack Obama will take thousands of dollars from deep-pocket fundraisers, while refusing to talk to Florida voters, grassroots volunteers, or media," explained RPOF Chairman Jim Greer. "They deserve to know why Barack Obama has ignored Floridians for 249 days, and they deserve to know what he will do to make sure that the 1.7 million Democrats who voted in the Florida Primary aren’t disenfranchised. "

Let's give racist Barack Obama & Rev Wright a warm southern welcome the next time they come to Florida.
Hillary supporters if Obama gets the nomination, WE VOTE FOR JOHN MCAIN!
If Obama loses in Nov., she can re-run in 2012 and SHE could win big.
(After June 6th, no matter how much Hillary says he supports Obama, WE STILL VOTE FOR MCCAIN! She has no choice but to say she support Obama)

We don't need a racist like Obama coming here trying to take our money and votes.
This is the south where there are lots of those "bitter" people that cling to religion & gun that Obama was referring to in San Francisco to his elitist buddies. Lots of us individual "typical white person" too.
Barack Obama, We Do Not Want You Here!

My vote is going to John McCain if Obama gets the nomination over Hillary.
I don't care if Obama is the last democrat on earth, he will never get my vote or my family's.

Democratic-led Congress under Nancy Pelosi has ratings even lower than President Bush.
The democratic led Congress has abysmal approval ratings near 18% tied for all-time lows.

Hey Jeffrey,
If Obama does not win, Clinton will be blamed for the loss, and will have no chance in 2012. Another note, pro-choice women will not vote for McCain, polls show older voters do not want an old president, and the next Pres will appoint multiple SC justices, not something we can change.

RPOF should spend more time shoring up its own base. Unfortunately, it is in for an unpleasant surprise this November.
We warned you this past session.
Remember this November - we will!
Posted by: | May 15, 2008 at 06:32 PM
6:29pm,
You are wrong. When Obama loses in the general election, Hillary & her supporters will come heavily with the I TOLD YOU SO argument. She will topple Nancy Pelosi and the new head of the Democratic Party. It's a no lose situation for Hillary.
Posted by: | May 15, 2008 at 06:47 PM
polling shows:
Most Older voters support John McCain
Younger voters support Obama.
Most working middle class Blue collered White supporters will likely support McCain.
Most African-Americans will likely support Obama

Do polls show how many former conservative Republicans will not be voting this fall because the party left them behind for Amnesty, Big Government, Huge Debt and a Globalist Agenda?
The RPOF needs to get on the stick or they will be on the minority side of the isle sooner rather than later too. How much more of the base do they want to lose? Selling out on the Same Sex Marriage Amendment and a Party Leader Fighting the Tax Swap Amendment are not going to carry the day. Not addressing illegal immigration during this session was telling given that property tax bills are beefed up in order to subsidize cheap illegal alien labor by providing at YOUR expense THEIR Healthcare, Education & Incarceration.
My household has two no-votes for Republicans this fall that are not showing up in the stats.

I have never read comments as stupid as these. Wright and Obama are hardly related topics. Obama denounced Wright, it's over. How can you claim Obama is a racist when his closest friends in the Senate are white?
The people who are claiming that Obama is a racist need to do two things. One, realize that they are being the racists. And then two, actually look at the issues. Do not vote for McCain over Hillary, Obama is a far superior candidate.
Posted by: David | May 15, 2008 at 07:35 PM
McCain cannot carry the weight of all the misery caused by President Bush. Obama is not perfect but is better than the past.

I love the "wait til november to see how many of us arent going to vote" crowd. It just cracks me up the amount of people who say that. If you really care about this country you will not send any kind of message by getting hillary clinton or barak hussein obama elected. It will just send this country a little further down the drain that it is going now.

I am a white, female, registered Republican and I am voting for Obama. He doesn't scare me. George Bush scares the hell out of me. I was in McCain's camp until he started spewing Bush-isms. It's pretty obvious that Hillary would cut her mother's throat to be President and that does bother me.
Go right ahead and bad mouth me. I don't care. I haven't missed a vote in about 20 years.

Barack will take Florida because Grampy McSame is friggin insane.

Obama is the kind of Democrat who will tolerate women, but also patronize them as likeable enough sweeties. He's really in the GOP guy mode. Maybe Democrats are getting it together behind a more GOPesque fellow.
Posted by: Mabel | May 15, 2008 at 11:46 PM
Just wait until Rev Wright's book tour starts slamming Obama.
No matter what Obama says, he is forever linked with Wright.
They are both racists. Take a from a "typical white person" or have you forgotten that was from Obama's mouth too.

The FGOPneeds its candidates to embrace the past policies of JEB and GW ..Look at how wonderful life is for middle class Floridian ..Great taxes and insurance no health care ...Be prowd embrace Marco,Dan Webster and Gov BS do nothin ..If you embrace it youll kick these bums out and vote ..for PRESIDENT OBAMA!!!nUFF SAID..

5:31 - 6:06 Try to space those postings out a little so it's not so obvious that you're a "majority of one."
Please check in frequently to see what new lies and spin our swiftboaters have invented on Obama - the "racist" line is starting to wear thin, and it never was very strong to begin with. Also, the enemy has countered us with McCain's association with John Hagee - we can't keep that out of the spotlight forever.

Must not be anything worthwhile for the RPOF to say about McCain so they spend their donors money on negative campaigning. If they had something positive to say about McCain you'd think they would trumpet that. But they can't, so they don't. Childish.
Posted by: | May 16, 2008 at 10:10 AM
David,
The same way white people are called racists even though they "have a lot of friends who are black."
We're just applying the same logic to Barack that is applied to us.
Posted by: | May 16, 2008 at 10:51 AM
David,
There is no logic to the GOP "racist" claims. They simply have nothing relevant against Obama, so they twist a bunch of lies and innuendo into an attack on the man.
The "logic" that makes Obama a racist is the same one employed to belittle John Kerry's military service while downplaying George W. Bush's draft-dodging. It works, so the immoral GOP spin doctors use it. It will be a feature of our political system until voters speak out aginst it.

Once the media exposes the information it is holding back about Obama's affair with one of his interns, it's all over for him folks!!!

12:21 I know things aren't looking good right now, but please, don't expose our ace in the hole just yet.
Our fearless despot has just launched another baseless attack against Obama, and too many in a row will just get the DEMs laughing at us again. (Can you imagine - somebody who's grandad ACTUALLY FUNDED the Nazis is accusing Obama of being an "appeaser" - amazing that people listen at all any more.)
So hold off on the affair thing, it's our last hope, insubstantial as it may be.

Once the media expose the reality that the GOP is playing a “Weekend At Bernie’s” gag with Lil’ Johnny Napoleon… even his Stepford wife’s money won’t be able to save it.

Peabody,
I have also heard about the Obama intern situation. If you read the minor coverage New York City papers you would know about it. Just wait until Fox picks up on this. I think they are also waiting for the right time after realizing they may have brought up the issue of Rev. Wright a bit to early. Bet they don't make that mistake on this one. It could be a real deal killer after the nomination is given to Obama.
Posted by: | May 16, 2008 at 06:14 PM
Why is it that whenever anybody opposes Nobama's position on any issue it is labeled as criticism by the Nobama camp? What's going to happen when he debates McCain? Anytime McCain objects to Nobama's position, NoBama will cry foul for criticizing him. Where I come from, that's called a little punk that'll get served for being a PU55Y!
Posted by: Donald Lance | May 16, 2008 at 07:29 PM
Don't worry, we have not heard the last of Rev Jeremiah Wright.
Obama's new pastor Rev Otis Moss is picking up where Wright left off.
Swing states polling says these issues DO MATTER.
They don't want a radical like Obama & his wife to win the presidency
Posted by: | May 16, 2008 at 07:31 PM
Barack Obama has low support from democrat white blue collar working Americans. You can't win without them.
He is not electable. Vote John McCain in November, then Hillary can re-run in 2012.
Posted by: | May 16, 2008 at 07:32 PM
I'd really rather have Hillary in the White House than Obama. I could vote for her or McCain but not the elitist Obama. Obama is really "creepy". Reminds me of a character from Halloween time.
Posted by: | May 16, 2008 at 11:28 PM
11:28 The napoleonic round-headed, wrinkled garden gnome with the saggy jowls and his hands on the nuclear arsenal - now that's CREEPY!!! Reminds me of Apocalypse Now.
Posted by: | May 17, 2008 at 12:14 AM
John McSame has low support from everyone who wants to see the last of the Bush dynasty. That's about 80% last time I checked.
He is not electable. Vote Barack Obama in November, or you'll have McSame with a side of Jeb as VP, a second helping of the Supersized Double-Cheese McBush Disaster.
Posted by: Problem Solved! | May 17, 2008 at 12:22 AM
The general consensus is that Obama will wipe the floor with McCain in a debate. I don't think he needs to "cry foul", although it will be interesting to see him tie McCain in knots when he compares McCain's previous lefty stance to his current right wingnut pandering on a whole boatload of issues. And can you see McCain trying to work in some innuendos about Rev. Wright into a talk on real issues? He's the one who's going to look like a tool and a wimp. If I was Obama, I'd just start peppering every audience with some supporters wearing Bush masks, and cheering at everything McCain says - that ought to do the trick! It's a no-win situation for McCain.
Posted by: Donald Lance - Policy Expert | May 17, 2008 at 12:44 AM
Can you imagine the GOP elitist choking on their cheese as they whine when they witness McAmnesty getting taken apart.
Of course that turncoat McAmnesty will be so nice and butt kissing pleasant to Obama regardless of how nasty he can be to fellow Republicans.
Yea, now that I think about it I would like to see McAmnesty really get roughed up in a debate and made to look like a bumbling, tempermental idiot.
Posted by: | May 17, 2008 at 01:00 AM
12:44. It's divisive when you post my name. I don't think you know what the meaning of "general consensus" is. I watched Hillary kick Nobama so hard in the debates, he looked foolish and unintelligent. At least McCain has a track record to be criticized. What does Nobama have? A flawed foreign policy that will get us killed, a liberal social agenda where homos will be groping each other in public, and a program to send $50 Billion to fight African poverty while spening only $1 Billion to train workers at home. As far as illegals go, what has Nobama EVER said about them - one way or the other? In the case about them going head-to-head in a debate, what you don't know CAN kill you. Let's see if Nobama can stutter his way out of that? Just so you know, I vote Libertarian. Never voted for a Dem or Repub in National elections and never will.

"Florida voters deserve to know why John McCain will take thousands of dollars from deep-pocket fundraisers, while refusing to talk to Florida voters, grassroots volunteers, or media," explained RPOF Chairman Jim Greer. "They deserve to know why John McCain has ignored Floridians for 249 days, and they deserve to know what he will do to make sure that million of Floridians who voted in the Florida Primary aren’t disenfranchised. Minor corrections are in order:
"Florida voters deserve to know why John McCain will take millions of dollars from deep-pocket fundraisers, while refusing to talk to Florida voters, grassroots volunteers, or media," explained RPOF Chairman Jim Greer. "They deserve to know why John McCain has ignored Floridians, and they deserve to know what he will do to make sure that millions of Floridians who voted in the Florida Primary aren’t disenfranchised."

Discovered on Greta Wire Blog that the Obama people are paying folks to come on the blogs and support Obama.
Be careful of what you read on the Internet. Obama trolls are in full force mode. For example, below is an Obama supporter faking as a Hillary supporter:
"I’m a big Hillary supporter and I do think she should continue her campaign to June 3. But I realize that Obama will be the nominee and I will vote for him. Voting for John McCain never even crossed my mind. That would be insane! He’s a Bush clone. The last thing we need is more wars and more failed economy. I’m sad Hillary lost. But Obama will be a good president. Much better than George W Bush or John McCain!"
You may also read things like...Let's unite the party to save America from 8 years of Republicans.
Obama campaign team has thousands of trolls (most especially college students) on mainstream media and major blog sites posting comments trying to change the dynamics of this election.
Be careful what you read. You will find these trolls on major sites like: CNN, Washington Post, Huffington Post, DailyKos, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, NYTimes, WSJ, MoveOn.Org and more.
Save America from Marxists in Liberal clothing!! Question the source of the pro-Obama posts on this and all blogs.

Lots of pure disdain for Obama is NOT because he is black, it is because he is a democratic elitist that looks down on parts of America.
We don't need a person like Obama to divide the nation.
We don't need him & his racist clan like Jeremiah Wright & the Black Panthers roaming the White House.
We are not bitter Americans clinging to guns & religion.
WE JUST DON'T LIKE YOU BARACK OBAMA.
Why vote for a divider like Barack Obama, when there is a great patriotic war hero that has always loved his country on the ballot.
I will never vote for Obama if he is the last democrat on this planet.
My whole family will vote for John McCain.
