So how green was Charlie's second session?

With his customary good cheer, Gov. Charlie Crist declared Tuesday the 2008 session, "a banner year on the environment, I dare say."

While Crist stays focused on the silver - or green - lining, others cast a jaundiced eye at the over sized  cloud. Read more at our sister blog, The Fueling Station.

Pretty green!!! Think of the reduced carbon footprint once you lay off child abuse investigators, foster care workers, parole officers, and nursing home investigators!!!!

And, think of all the carbon "saved" when you close schools and lay off teachers.

Wow! The universities are doing their part too - decreasing enrollment, laying off professors and support staff!

Now, if only the Governor would do his part and quit flying all over the country to campaign for McCain and quit flying all over the state using a private jet!!!! Perhaps he could turn the AC up in the Capitol and the Mansion to the 80 degrees as he's ordered the agency buildings to do!

And, of course, our Legislature is "Green" too, but this was nothing new - they've always been a "show me the $$$" body!!!!

I wonder what party affiliation most of the Crist bashers are?

Democrat?

Republican?

Libertarian?

National Socialist, meaning Nazi?

Communist?

Yep, anyone who believes that the government has an obligation to protect children from physical and sexual abuse, or believes that those in nusing home shouldn't spend their remaining years being abused or believe that people on parole should be supervised must be a communist!!!

Grow up - McCarthy has been dead for years!!!
