Adding to the Buzz
Just a note here to direct your attention to the RealClearPolitics widget we added Monday to the Buzz. Scroll down and you'll see it on the right. It's a handy way to quickly check out the state of the presidential race, and as of this morning it shows John McCain's average lead in recent Florida has shrunk to 5.7% - closer than Ohio.

Your colleague, Alex Leary, has Obama Winning Florida by 47% over McBush 43%.

Nice addition. Something tells me that average is going to change in FL and OH.

Obama's big bounce has him at 49 points in Florida. McCain has been quiet here while Dems have been fighting it out on the news every night. If he still hasn't broken 50, he certainly won't on election night.
Obama should look to greener pastures.

Gallop poll has a national dead heat.
Obama's after nomination bump didn't even really materialized.
He's in deep trouble.
