Ausman's pick: Clinton
Tallahassee superdelegate Jon Ausman acknowledged moments ago that Barack Obama is a "terrific candidate" and "he is going to be our candidate." But Ausman said he is supporting Hillary Clinton.
"I'm sending a message that he needs to unify our party," Ausman said.
Ausman said he spoke with Sen. Clinton earlier today for about 25 minutes, at a time when he was leaning toward supporting Sen. Obama. He said the call itself didn't sway him, but hearing from media reports that Obama had received enough super-delegate support to get the nomination.
"Once I knew Obama had enough votes anyway, I decided I wanted to send a message of unity," Ausman said.

Ummm, yes… I’ll take the two-legged horse to win for 1000!
Posted by: | June 03, 2008 at 03:01 PM
No, Jon, party unity is called backing the guy who is going to be the nominee!
Posted by: | June 03, 2008 at 03:04 PM
We will never support Obama.
If Hillary is not the nominee, we will definitely support John McCain.
Obama has no experience & is out of touch with too many hard working Americans.
Obama is just not ready to be a good President.

Right 3:04...
It's Obama that is out of touch with the average American...
Sure it is.
Why don't you go back to your cushy desk in the Repug Party of Florida offices and rest your worried little mind.

We will never support Obama... cause he's one of them darkies!
If Hillary is not the nominee, we will definitely not be able to keep our slaves.
Obama has no experience in ducking imaginary sniper fire.
Hillary is just not ready to be the first female President.

typical Dem- I was for the bill before I was against it!

Like anyone believed Ausman was ever anything but a Hillary DLC puppet? We REALLY need to clean house of DINOs in Florida.
Nelson is a disgrace. Both parties need to take out their trash.

I certainly understand our voter’s frustration over all of this, after all – voters did not call for a change in the Primary structure. But I am curious where all these “politicos and politicians” were in January. Where were their assertions of unfairness and “count every vote” then? There are rules; and Florida broke them. Moreover, Florida was warned of the consequences and/or repercussions, and chose to ignore them.
From my perspective, the bottom line here is; if you are not willing to follow the rules; then you’re no better than the Party in power you chastise and seek to replace… and therefore are not worthy of the honor to serve in Representative Government.

We will never support McCain.
If Ron Paul is not the nominee, we will definitely support Obama.
McCain has no judgment & is out of touch with Americans that actually have a brain.
McCain is just not ready to be a good President.

McSame is a racist and an anti-Semite like Rev. Hagee and the other Hitler (Parsley)… both of whom endorse Lil’ Johnny Napoleon.

“The Presumptive Republican Nominee, John McCain, woke up today!” When asked about the great news, McCain said, “Damn… I p’d myself again. Honey, bring me another pair of Depends, I’ve got to take the toaster for a walk!”
... folm at 11... cause he'll be in bed by then.

I think it is sad that you chose to word it in such a way that you straddled the fence. You are following Obama's way of doing things. He votes for and says I meant to do it the other way. I pushed the wrong button two years in a row. It just took me twenty and one half years to make up my mind to leave a church that hates Whites. Not just the Rev. but look at the parishioners reaction to the hatred against whites. They loved it. Obama's message is, I don't agree with them I just like to be around all of these black supremacists. Rev. Wright is my friend along with Fr. Pfleger, but only for twenty years. I like slumlords and dirty Chicago politicians too, but I am not like that. I am for the little guy. what happened to: Choose your friends carefully because that is what you become!!! Oh, I forgot free pass.

There is someone on here just about to go crazy that McCain may be our next President. Looks like some counseling is in order before these constant and mumbly attacks on McCain start to cause suicide watch to intervene.
GO JOHN! Continue to drive the idiot crazy.

If Hillary is not the V.P. runningmate, you can kiss any chance for Obama winning. Hillary supporters will work for 2012's campaign which will start right after the general election.

I really believe Barack Obama is a closet racist.
Look at all the people he hung around that are crawling out of the woodworks.

LOL at anyone who thinks Hillary has a shot in 2012.
SHE'S DONE! FOREVER! KISS THE CLINTONS GOODBYE!

How does endorsing Hillary show unity?
Posted by: | June 03, 2008 at 10:33 PM
"While everybody else is showing unity by going with our nominee, I decided to show unity by going with the loser. Understand? You understand my reasoning don't you?"
