DCCC watching Dicks campaign

Democrat John Dicks, one of three Democrats vying to challenge incumbent U.S. Rep. Gus Bilirakis, R-Palm Harbor, in the District 9 Congressional race, boasted Wednesday his campaign has been named one of the top 20 emerging races in the country by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

Dicks, former mayor of Plant City, face Anita dePalma and Bill Mitchell in the Democratic primary in August.

WHY? No one is going to come close to Gus!!!
Gus gets it! He is a elected to serve the people and he is a great congressman, and you libs are wasting your time!!!!

Dist 9 GOP person

Way to go, Dicks campaign! Time to go, Mr. Bilirakis.

Gus Bilirakis answers to 2 people: President Bush and his father. He made that pretty clear in his first (and last) term.

John Dicks will answer to the people in Congressional District 9.

Dist 9 GOP person?

Is it him and that one other guy?

wow! one democratic organization talking up another... about as credible as the St. Pete Times.

This means nothing. It means he didn't get on the DCCC's "red to blue" program, which is what he needs if he's going to have any shot. It means that he needs to raise more money and get more press before the party will put any money into this race. There's 37 people on red to blue (after they added 14 today including Joe Garcia & Raul Martinez in Dade Co.), so Dick's race isn't even one of the top 37 races in the country according to the party. Basically the party is looking at him and waiting to see if he can perform. I doubt it.

Wow a Democrat with an appropriate last name!

The Dims want to RAISE GAS TAXES by $1.50 per gallon!!!!

Remember THAT in November!

8:29: Candidates receive the "emerging" label prior to being fully incorporated into the Red-to-Blue program. It's the first step that all other R2B candidates met before being moved up. Sounds like Bill Mitchell complaining about being out-raised 3:1.

9:50 Guess it must really bug you having numerous losers named BUSH as the best your party has to offer?

And Now; I shall never do business with Plute!

GET RID ON THE POP UPS!

GOP Dist 9 person - Proof you are an idiot. You do realize that your Congressman is ranked below those of Puerto Rico and Guam in effectiveness. right?

Gee, if you sent a stuffed characer of Barney Rubble, you'd have just has much representation in DC as you've gotten from Gus.

Maybe you like a worthless Rep working for you - I'd rather my tax dollars being spent on someone's salary who actually did something for the distict, the state, the nation they are supposed to work for. Kinda like hiring a lawn service that doesn't cut the grass, just trims the bushes when they feel like it. And leaves the cuttings for you to pick up.

Wow a Democrat with a last name that Republicans can really wrap their hands around... and their... never mind!
