Edwards delegate goes to Obama

Fred McDowell of Leesburg is an elected delegate who was previously pledged to Sen. John Edwards.

He wrote a letter to the Florida Democratic Party this morning that Congressman David Bonior called him on May 2 and asked on behalf of Sen. Edwards to instead support Sen. Barack Obama.

"I am pleased to inform you that I will follow Sen. Edwards’ desires and pledge my support and delegate vote to Senator Obama," wrote McDowell, who is chief of the state party's Veteran Caucus.

WHO EVER WINS THE PRESIDENT OF THESE UNITED STATES. THE VOTERS ARE TAKING A CHANCE ON HIM OR HER.THEY CAN'T DO ANY THING,WITH OUT THE HELP OF THE GOVERN BODY , THAT MEANS THE HOUSE ,CONGRESS,SEN. TO HAVE THERE LAWS OR PROJECTS PASSED. CAN'T DO IT BY THEM SELVES.

Figured that out all by yourself did ya!

That is exactly why seeing so many "new" voters getting involved this time. WE are the better party we have been waiting for.

It was ALWAYS supposed to be citizen soldiers, citizen office holders, citizen presidents. About time we citizenry do our job.
