Harris' Recount review: 'Kind of outrageous'
Still mad at the media: Former Secretary of State Katherine Harris went on Hannity & Colmes Monday to protest her portrayal in Recount, the HBO film about the 2000 presidential election in Florida. With her was Joe Klock, the Democratic managing partner at from Steel, Hector & Davis, who headed up Harris' legal team during those wild five weeks, which gave the TV appearance a weird retro feel.
The ex-congresswoman's complaint is that filmmakers rewrote history by making other key characters, like Bush adviser James Baker, lappear strong, while she was portrayed by Laura Dern as unhinged by comparison and quoting Queen Esther in the Bible. "They make up my dialogue. The writer admits to making up scenes and dialogue, and it's kind of outrageous," she said. "I was never giddy."
Harris and Klock both objected to scenes from the movie showing veteran GOP operative J.M. (Mac) Stipanovich in the room with Harris. "The fact of the matter is that Mac Stipanovich did not sit in on any significant decisions," Klock told Fox. "The secretary sat with her lawyers and her team and made decisions on the spot." (News accounts at the time, in Newsweek and elsewhere, quoted Klock as saying Stipanovich was advising Harris as an "old family friend.")

the Witch got her reward by serving a term in congress... she couldn't do the party any more favors and was left to her own device when she went for a 2nd term... Those who put her in congress the first time were glad to get the witch off their payrolls... She turned out to be a total embarassment with her relious antics.

They should make a movie, The Rise and Fall of Katherine Harris, starting from the moments before she came to wealth, how she got into political office, her religious antics, her arrogance and conceit, to the point where she was abandoned, sacked and dumped, left with a gaping hole where the boot was once planted.

And yes...I feel safer that the Iraq is less violent than last year. Its a great place to kill the enemy(Better than your idea of it being in the U.S.A.) But how do you feel knowing that we still have our military in some Countries since World War Two.
If it were up to the DEMOCRAPS, we wouldn't need an Army...just alot of Town meetings and assclowns to preach.

I don't know why so many people here are against Kathy. Is it because the Democraps took your vote away and now you feel the need to speak up here?
So many against the recount....yet the Democraps took away all your votes and didn't count them. Thats right...they counted your votes and then said" They don't count".
Forget Kathy....how does it feel to know that your voice means nothing to the Democap party. And how does it feel to have delegates at a convention with only a half-vote.

WOW.....where were all these haters when thier vote didn't count? Its funny how the Democrats/Voters complained about a recount but don't have a problem with a no-count!
Loyalty to the party is one thing...but I agree with Dr_Dug on this one: What about the no vote/half vote granted by the Democratic party?
