McCain: I'm James Bond. Obama is Dr. No.
It's just a web ad but one of the funnier ones Buzz has seen from the McCain campaign. The ad starts off by accusing Obama of being "Dr. No" for his opposition to drilling off Florida's coast.

I have personally seen oil rigs in Ill., so why does Barry have a problem with rigs in International waters? Sounds hypocritical to me!

Why does McCain want to drill off our beaches, but not in Alaska?
Posted by: | June 25, 2008 at 07:42 PM
I really like the ad, very entertaining & sends the message out loud and clear.

Gov Crist & John McCain has the correct position on the energy issue.
Polling shows Floridians & Americans support their position in opening more drilling & letting states decide.
The democrats and Obama are not listening to the people.
The United States of America needs an energy plan that includes: opening up more safe drilling, more safe nuclear energy, more solar, more wind power + more conservation in energy use. We must be less dependent on foreign oil and more dependent on our own natural resources.
Obama has no realistic plan, McCain does. Americans cannot afford $5/gal. oil.
MY VOTE WILL BE FOR MCCAIN IN NOVEMBER.

8:33 pm are you guily of cut/paste from a lobbying group?

Obama is picking up quite a few new names. Many in his own Party are very disappointed over his position on voting for the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. They are no calling him “Wank.. of the Day.” This "discovering Obama" is just getting started. There will be quite a few surprises and new names for him between now and the election. Already the media is waiting to "get even" for his lying in not accepting campaign finance support like he promised he would.
I tried to enter the real word they call Obama but the pro-Obama Buzz "censored it--so had to "code" it. Hope you figure it out.

Whoever posted what you refer to is no more guilty than the Obama nerd ball who keeps posting the same McBush crap on and on and on.........
Too bad liberals can't have a positive thought. As an example, the Dems energy policy sucks!!!

Well now, Obama did say no to his grandma and Rev. Wrong. Don't be too hard on the Messiah! It took real courage to throw those two under the bus. I wouldn't be surprised that he would also throw U.S. security under the bus if push came to shove.

Nobama has the energy problem solved, they're just going to hook a power plant up to all the HOT AIR he generates. It must be good for something.
Change, change, change, change, change, change, change, change, change, change, change, change, change, change, change, change, change, change, change, change, change, change, change, change, change, change, change, change, blah, blah, blah,...
Harness those kilowatts of hot air with no substance! WOOHOO, energy crisis averted!

This drilling crap is a last ditch attempt by the GOP to pander to the Big Oil and Energy cronies who bankroll their administration.

You hacks who believe this garbage are the same ones who made Karl Rove famous, who helped get us into Iraq and who caused gas to reach $4.00 per gallon. If you McShame you will get more of the smae unsound policies that got us where we are today. Fuigure it out. If you vote for McShame you are selling out your families, your friends, the future and our country. I won't be making that mistake.

Why don't they just drill in the acreage they already have leased? It's because it isn't really about energy independence at all, no matter how the oil guys try and sell it.

8:33 you and all you idiots that want to drill are smoking crack. Let’s get some facts straight, has any one bothered to actually look at the rev. wrights sermon on YouTube? You will find that he did not lie he actually was quoting someone else when he did the chicken thing. So your speaking on a dead issue. Second if you actually do some research and pay attention to what’s going on, and not to a bunch of quick witted comments on a blog, you might have seen on c-span Monday that they had the head of the oil market group, the head of the stock traders department and the head of the speculators market in front of a congressional hearing ( sorry I’m not sure of their exact titles or names). It went as such to the best of my recollection
Speaker to the head of oil market: How many barrels do we need a day verses what we are actually making?
head of oil market: we currently use 20,000,000 per day, and our daily average is 25,000,000
long pause
Speaker: so we are going over what we need a day?
head of oil market: that’s correct, it’s not actually the amount of oil is the refining of the oil. It is next to impossible to build a new plant.
Speaker to the head of the speculators: Now I understand that we have the falling dollar and all of that, can you help me understand where we get the price from? How much of the $135 a barrel is for the weakening dollar, and what is the percentage of the speculators mark up?
Head of speculators: it is true on the weakening dollar, the amount for that is about $15.00.
Speaker: and how much is speculation?
Head of speculators: about 50 percent?
Head of oil market: chuckle, speaker I would say it’s about 35 percent.
Head of stock traders: I would agree
Speaker: so MR speculator if we were to cap Profit margins on oil speculation in your opinion what could we expect to see? How soon would we see relief if any?
Head of speculators: I would have to say within a couple of months, they are there to make money if you were to cap then they would just go to another area ( sorry I forgot the exact words he used) It would be a lot like what we have seen in the housing market.
Head of oil market and stock traders were silent and did not oppose this comment.
NEED I GO ON?
This is just a small glimpse of what I seen Monday, People wake up Obama is right. He said we need a little more nuke, a little more fossil, and a whole lot of alternate fuels, but bottom line is we need to stop the speculation market. For the record I’m not a Dem or Rep. OR an environmentalist. I am a free th

These dirt-ball speculators are doing to the oil industry what they did to the real estate industry. They know their days are numbered, ‘cause Dubya’s are… and they are sticking it to America as much as they can before November.
Speculators and lobbyists are the scum of this earth, and have all but completely ruined our Nation, our government, and our economy for selfish gain.
It’s not “money is the root of all evil”… it is “the lust for money is…”
So it was written; so it shall be done!
