'This toxic state of affairs' in Florida's budget

When The Buzz spots something in another Florida newspaper that's a must-read, we like to share it. This column on the impact of recent budget cuts in the Palm Beach County state attorney's office by Sun-Sentinel editorial writer Nicole Brochu certainly hits the mark. And what better time to ponder its implications than on the day Gov. Charlie Crist signs the new state budget?

I wonder where Palm Beach State Attorney Barry Krischer got the money from to relentlessly pursue Rush Limbaugh on a trumped up prescription medication charge? Come on now. With all of the other problems mentioned, this was the top priority for the tens of thousands of tax money that was wasted? I wouldn't want any of my money to go into Krischer's coffers to pursue his left wing political agenda. That political jerk has no credibility at all and it is very understandable why the legislature would want to starve that odious tumor.

The Chairman of Goldman Sachs and Chairman of BP (oil company) are one and the same person.

Can someone tell me how can that be allowed?

Obviously, the Republicans are pillaging and manipulating the economy while stealing us blind.

Indeed, the Republicans are crippling the middle class, all the while filling their greedy pockets.

10:47 Nice try to change the subject Barry. Why don't you go through his luggage next next time he lands at PBI?

Remember those bond drives in the Clint Eastwood movie "Flags of our Fathers"?

Bush is showing us what happens when we fight a war on credit cards.

My GOD inflation is already through the freaking ROOF and is really hurting people.

I've seen several broken-off gas-tank doors on cars around my neighborhood. People are stealing GAS so they can afford to drive to their sh**y jobs that don't pay them enough to buy what they need just to get to work!

Inflation is turning formerly honest people into fracking THIEVES so they can feed their families.

How's that $240 working out for ya'll?

Hahahahahahaaaaa....

Barry, please go after toxic Kool-Aid drinkers like 10:36 and his opiated zero integrity pal Rush Limbaugh. Keep an eye peeled for Hannity and Coulter too. There is no greater crime that to sell the Bush agenda with lies and spin. Thousands are dying in Iraq, millions are suffering in the US. We're talking capital crimes here. Pursue and prosecute and by all means please us my tax dollars to further your efforts to clean up the airwaves for the good of all Americans!

Rush Limpdick and Sean Insanity are perfect examples of what is wrong with our Country. One’s a Bush boot-licking drug addict and the others just a freaking moron. You want to know the greatest threat to this great nation is; start with those two nutjobs.

11:52 Time to take your meds. I love it when you liberal toadies get your shorts in a knot.

12:08 Time to give Rush his illegal meds. I love it when you drug adict Repugnant pervs get your shorts in a knot... in a public restroom no doubt!

crappy article... columnist lost me after about the 6th paragraph of meaningless rants...

What an obvious snow job on a very gullible reporter. Kirchner has over $19 Million Dollars to blow on a little piss ant States Attorney office. How about expressing some pity for the poor overburdened taxpayers? How about some priorities? How about some belt tightening? Taking money away from the fat bureaucrats is like taking candy away from a baby. Boo Hoo. What a bunch of crap.

They cut vital services to saftey and human services. Thanks Senator Atwater. He voted many times for bills that hurt his own constituents as well as all the people of this state. I will remember in the next election buddy.

Speaking of toxic state of affairs, did anybody receive their annual water quality report today? I noticed there wasn't any mention of fluoride being added to the water, nor does it appear on the contaminant chart. They force toxic waste into our water supplies, but don't bother to list it in their own report. Yes the state of affairs is truly toxic!

Who is "they", Donald? You mean the Corporations who pollute without fear because Bush tax cuts are rendering enviromental regulation impossible? Ooops, I forgot, in the Libertarian LaLa Land, corporations will regulate themselves, given half a chance.

They-our govt! Who's regulating them since you brought up the regulation subject?

Donny... get back in your mom's bed, you freak!
