Lights out for Crist's VP hopes?
When Sen. John McCain secured the Republican presidential nomination, Gov. Charlie Crist instantly became a leading contender to join the ticket.
With the vice presidential selection nearly at hand, Crist refuses to talk about "the process." The question now is whether he already has become an also-ran or is being subjected to the kind of microscopic background check performed on the most viable contenders.
"No one's called me, and I would have expected I would be called,'' said Steve Andrews, a Tallahassee lawyer who was hired to dig into Crist's background by a group supporting his opponent in the 2006 governor's race. (story here)

"In Crist's most recent races, he faced questions about twice failing the Bar exam, having never owned a home, his sexual orientation (stemming from his longtime bachelorhood) and whether he fathered a child out of wedlock."
Throw in worst state economy in the nation since he became Governor and, gosh, you have to wonder why he's not going to get picked.
At least he got to meet the Queen while he was campaigning for VP.

It's no surprise Erin's lied on her resume. That's a reflection of her character. She does not have a good relationship with the media. They put up her because they have no choice.

Erin is the worst Comm director people have ever seen. She is in the mold of Arlene, lies, is disliked by most (Press)and thinks she run's the Governors office instead of Eric. Oh, not to mention how she throws people under the bus all the time( can I say Arlene again). Charlie , if you wonder why you get such bad press , Look to Erin, she's got to GO!

Erin makes $100,000 a year... that is more than most of the previous seasoned communication directors made...
and Arlene pushing her resume, give me a break.

Wow, it looks like the McCain camp can at least make one good decision! Word on the street is that the national campaign is already pissed about the job Arlene isn't doing. They were smart not to add Erin to the pot. Those two sociopaths would have wrecked his chances for sure. He would have lost all of his Florida staff because no one would have worked with them.

Erin does a wonderful job. She's insightful and is always prepared to answer questions from the media. Her depth of knowledge on the issues puts her head and shoulders above any of Governor Bush's communications directors. She deserves every penny.

Romney will make the best V.P. candidate this time around.
Gov Crist's has a bright future in Republican national politics. Now it's time for him to deliver FL and prove his worth.

Erin,
If you spent as much time doing your job as you do responding to posts on the blogs, maybe you would still have a staff. Everyone knows that anytime there is a positive post about you on the blogs it is either you, Arlene or your husband posting so give it a rest already.

First it's "Guages". Now "July" is spelled "January".
It's Ok...most people spell "Erin" as "Witch".

I wonder how many other lies are on her resume?
She certainly has no skills beyond her anti-social ability to lie to and berate people. It's no surprise her office is now a ghost town.

Erin makes more than $100K and that is just the beginning of the lies...

Uh, where the hell did all the comments go?

Erin just gave herself a raise and her latest hire (I mean victim) is going to make a boatload too. Check that one out Steve.

C'mon, you have to give credit for the state's economy to our friend, Jeb. Charlie has a great record to run on.

I'm not saying Crist should be VP but, who the hell cares what Steve Andrews thinks?! The guy's a snake, not to mention a complete d!ck. How does being Gallagher's slanderer quality you for the vetting process?

Isn't Erin VanSickle at the RPOF the Governor's Political Communications Director?
Posted by: | August 01, 2008 at 10:50 AM
Erin VanSickle is a great communications director and works non stop. She also needs a vacation booked right now for 3 weeks in late november. Massachusetts?
Posted by: adam kenneth long | August 01, 2008 at 11:27 AM
...not to mention, Erin VanSickle is HOT!
Posted by: | August 01, 2008 at 01:30 PM
Crist will NOT be the VP nominee because conservatives would go into open revolt and McCain knows it.

"Her depth of knowledge on the issues puts her head and shoulders above any of Governor Bush's communications directors."
Uh - what issues? All you ever hear are the same taglines repeated. It would be awesome if the Governor talked about real issues. But nice try, Erin.

I bet Erin is taking this out on her staff? Ooops, she doesn't really have any left.
Erin, how did it feel when the McCain camp told you to piss off? Expect more of that in the future. You've made more enemies than can be enumerated on this blog post. Enjoy your descent towards irrelevancy.
