Obama's strength worries Adam Putnam

AdamputnamNo, U.S. Rep. Adam Putnam, R-Bartow, doesn't think John McCain is in any real danger of losing Florida, given McCain's natural appeal to veterans, independents, and pro-Israel voters. But the Chairman of the House Republican Conference thinks Barack Obama's ability to turn out African-Americans voters across the south could pose trouble for some Republican incumbents in states that McCain will still carry.

"I think you'll see House members who won their last race by 60%-65% percent lose because of the turnout model that Obama brings,'' said Putnam after taping a Political Connections interview on Bay News 9. He wasn't talking about any Florida seats, but his pick for the five races to watch in Florida: the seats held by Democrat Tim Mahoney, by the Diaz-Balart brothers, by Tom Feeney, and by Ric Keller.

Adam Putnam:
what a joke! net worth of 13 million dollars oh he is qualified to decide issues for everyday folks like you and me....typical RETHUG go back to daddys orange grove ya snob!

Putznumb!

Dude is screaming 20-bucks and a public restroom!

Surfdog would rather have someone in office who has a hard time balancing a checkbook! Class envy and economic bigotry wear the same clothes.

"McCain's natural appeal to veterans, independents, and pro-Israel voters"

Let's take those one at a time:

veterans - McCain's against benefits for Iraqi War vets.

independents - McCain lost the independents when he accepted the Bush endorsement and became McSame.

pro-Israel - really! Let's ask his mentor John Hagee about his views on Israel!

If McCain has any appeal at all in Florida, it is not among sane folks, but rather because Florida has become a last bastion for cranks, Kool-Aid drinkers, and wingnuts.

no 2:47 just want someone in Govt who BELIEVES in govt!
people who do not believe in govt should not govern.....
If you break the air traffic contol system and repalce them with hacks then years later problems arise (gee wonder why)
wonder why all of a sudden MINE deaths ?? wonder why we have tomato poisoning....when you hear of problems with 2010 census you will know why..
GWB WORST PREZ IN HISTORY

3:06: You're a Kool-Aid drinker. The worst president in history was James Buchanan, who allowed the Civil War to occur. The second worst was Carter, who allowed the crazies to take over Iran. Obama would be the worst in history, after allowing the socialists and Moslems to take over.

Surfdog-

Of course you believe in government...you are a liberal.

Liberals believe America is great because of government, and you want more of it.

Conservatives believe America is great because of individual achievement, ingenuity, and entrepreneurship and we want more of that. Government has a tendency to get in the way of these things through over-regulation and bureaucracy.

I know why we have tomato poisonings (if that is actually what caused it)...it is because those pesky consumers want a cheap product, so we import them from Mexico.

You want a better census? Hire a private firm...they can do it better than any government employee. The same could be said of the air traffic controllers.

3:11,

Put you foil hat back on and get back in the damn basement. I hear there's a black man in your neighborhood, so you'd better lock the door... dope!

If you dumb liberals would actually read the above post, you might be elated to hear what Putnam had to say. Your vitriol and immediate, gutteral reaction to anything Republican shows your lack of intellect for what it truly is.

Did schools fail you on reading, too - or are you really that dumb?

3:17 is your typical Ill-informed Delusional Indignant Opposition Troll… aka: Idiot.

These are the same morons who profess Christianity while blaspheming our Saviors name by calling Obama Messiah. They are also the same hypocritical fools who profess “Pro Life” while 80% of the women who seek abortions by choice are 25-35 years old, professional, and Republican.

Pro Life… so long as it doesn’t interfere with the P&L.

… pathetic

Surfdog-

One more thing...the more power you give to government, the more of your freedom you give away.

You would not be welcome at the table with Thomas Jefferson and James Madison.

You would be one of those loyalists to the King of England.

3:17: My basement is a wine cellar in my palatial mansion. If you enjoy you and your family being on food stamps for your entire life, then by all means, vote for Obambi.

Omega exemplifies my post.

… like I noted; pathetic

... so does 3:22.

3:17,

Put down the Kool-Aid and the Rove memo and crawl back out of your Mommy's basement. Look around. There's a conservative in the White House right now and he's spening money faster than any socialist. What do we have to show for that?

He is and always will be the worst president ever and even if McCain is elected his failed policies will just be seen as a continuation of the abysmal Bush legacy.

Once again the St. Petetersburg Times is one big plug for John McCain! He will win Florida hands down? You have all turned into what can only be called poster children for McCain. I know McCain is the big business candidate and that you are a big business, but in that case please do not claim and or make believe you are presenting real news. We in the reading public call what your doing propaganda.
--

McSame is lucky to remember what his name is, let alone where Florida is. Dude is a walking poster for ALF's.

3:24

what part of ""I think you'll see House members who won their last race by 60%-65% percent lose because of the turnout model that Obama brings,'' said Putnam "

do you still fail to grasp??

I guess in dumb liberal land, that is bad news?

What’s bad news in criminal republicon land… public bathroom closed until further notice?

3:17, you're speaking my language.

We need to abolish these lazy deadweight government employees because private companies can always do a better job.

Police, Sheriffs deputies, Firefighters, Teachers, Judges, Professors, Corrections officers, Detectives, State Attorneys, Air force pilots, Public health officials, Army captains, Meat inspectors, Naval officers -- All lazy bums who need to be replaced by private employees, if we're to protect our liberty.

Florida's 12th District has a choice. You can vote Mr. Putnam out of office, and replace him with a true, working-class hero -- Retired Navy Master Chief Doug Tudor.

www.teamtudor.org

"... private companies can always do a better job."

yeah, just ask Haliburton, Enron, Worldcom... and the list goes on and on...

... gulp it up minion boy... gulp it up!

3:17 You're speaking my language too! Let's do away with all those annoying FEDs and other civil servants. Who's better at guarding the hen house than us FOXes? If it wasn't for those flaming socialist morons, Jack and I would be planning our next caper, and the Enron boys would still be gettin rich off California's "energy crisis!"

You mean my stock is Enron is worthless?? What?? you mean it made bad trades considering it was basically a trader in a market???? what

Carrot Top is a US REP? What's next???

3:28-

I don't think anyone would call Bush a conservative.

You lemmings are a freaking hoot!

Kill all US government officials and government employees!

No wonder you boys let Osama Been Forgotten get away! Don't worry your little corrupt peabrained heads off... we'll finish the job you dopes couldn't.

Love,

The Democrats

“Despite the boastful Clinton/Gore rhetoric about ‘growing the economy,’ government does not create economic growth. The best the government can do is stay out of the way while other people create products, jobs and prosperity.”----Thomas Sowell

All you little Republipervs need to settle down, and try not to get so excited. I heard the new Rush Limbaugh Blow-up Partner Doll comes with a plastic $20 sewn into its hand! They’ll be flying off the triple-x store shelves in Tallytown this week!

4:18 Nice try! I'll bet you'd like to disown him! I'm afraid he is, or was, a conservative, and if he's spending like crazy now, it's because your conservative ideology has proved to be untenable; a total failure.

Time to give Government For the People another chance.

No he even campaigned as a "compassionate conservative". I don't know what this means, but i can tell you it has nothing to do with true conservatism.

Liberalism and socialism are the proven historical failures.

“Despite the boastful Thomas Sowell's rhetoric about government staying out of the way while other people create products, jobs and prosperity, we can see that without government regulation, corporations only enrich the wealthy and trash the planet without ever evidencing a shred of conscience. Thomas Sowell wakeup - the Libertarian party is dead!

The Libertarian Party is far from dead...they just unmanageable.

They are too busy making money producing things you want to buy to really get involved in politics.

Trust me.

Don't know about the rest of you, but...

I am gonna be really PO'd if Ohio State goes to the National Championship game again and gets crushed by an SEC team...again.

Wait, what were we talking about?

The Libertarian Party is far from dead... hell, last I heard there were at least 84 members... including that Larson dope on the radio!

Like i said...they are too busy making money off dopes like you!

We need republicans that can give a conservative message that people can connect with. Regan, was great at this. Which is why the RNC, NRCC and the RPOF need to get off their duffs and start supporting Lt.C Allen West. He is a true American hero and we need leaders like him. Plus, he isn't afraid to take on Obama like everyone else. Go to his website today:

www.allenwestforcongress.com

or watch his recent speech:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scGwRU_E6Qo

I would hate to be the Israeli Prime Minister calling to get support for a strike against ARab terrorists from a President Barack HUSSEIN Obama.

Obama's Strengths:
He's black;
Quasi-educated white Democrats still
feel guilty about slavery;
... that's it.

Another of his "strengths"---Communist party members love Obama!!!

http://www.aim.org/aim-column/communist-party-backs-obama/

"...the Chairman of the House Republican Conference thinks Barack Obama's ability to turn out African-Americans voters across the south could pose trouble for some Republican incumbents in states that McCain will still carry."
-------------------------------------

Well, isn't that special. A Republican using race as an issue. How often does this happen, e.g. Nixon, Reagan, Bush I and Bush II.

If you ask 10 black people who they will vote for, What is their answer??

Not only do the communists love Obama, so do the Japanese. Maybe they see the possibility of completing what they couldn't during WW II!!!

This gay dumbass was just featured in the movie "Idiocracy" I recommend it to all N Florida Neocon congressmen it will help with talking points. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5HmpPXqCbA&feature=related

I thought maybe the McCain Toady had been recalled to Young Republican HQ for some "reprogramming" (aka waterboarding with Kool-Aid), but I see he's back now reguritating his racist filth on us again.

He should be worried. The Republicans ABANDONED the middle class. The Republicans SET OUT TO DESTROY the middle class.

And the MIDDLE CLASS is going to Remember in November!!!!

So the Bush tax cuts went to the wealthiest Americans, and so gas is more than 4 bucks a gallon, and so we've spent billions upon billions upon billions in Iraq, and so we're in a recession, and so 80 percent of Americans think we're headed in the wrong direction and so we're bleeding jobs and so 47 million Americans don't have health insurance. So what? As long as we stop the gays from marrying, we'll be all right. That'll cure everything. And Charlie's engaged, so we've got that going for us.

Which is good.

Jason---Was that you starring in the movie "Idiocracy"?

Obama's Dresser is waiting for you. Bet you and he will hit it off.

Now that Obama's the Dem candidate for President he needs to advocate sensible policies. In the primaries he could advocate silly policies that were effective vote-getters from his base. Now he needs to advocate policies that won't make him look like a fool if he tries to implement them as President.

Like the anti-free-trade rhetoric he was spouting on the campaign trail. The Messiah even had to send operatives to Canada (and probably other countries) in order to reassure foreign governments that he wasn't really a fool.

Expect President Obama to continue 98% of the Bush Administration policies. He'll throw his followers a few high-profile bones like "gays in the military" to cover this up. Maybe the media will continue to play along with the charade, maybe it won't. My bet, they are going to crucify the guy late in the campaign.

Pretty funny stuff if you ask me. Don't you just love politics?

Obama is nothing but another political clown. No different than McCain or Bush or Carter or Clinton. That's why Nader is getting my vote.
