Real July 4 fireworks for Jim Greer
Republican Party Chairman Jim Greer and his wife had a baby early this morning, saying hello to Aidan James Charles Greer at 6:59 a.m. "Both baby and mom Lisa are doing just fine, resting and looking forward to going home," the party reports.
Says papa Greer, "I can't tell you how pleased I am to welcome another Republican to the family."
Jim and Lisa Greer have three other children, daughter Amber and sons Hunter and Austin.

And I'm sure there is a very nice and expensive private school in this child's future!
After all, Republicans have gutted the public education of the masses.

"Says papa Greer, "I can't tell you how pleased I am to welcome another Republican to the family.""
I am going to laugh my butt off in 18 years when the kid goes to college, meets up with that granola UNICEF crowd, and tells the old man to shove it when he moves out to the commune to grow his own vegetables

10:49 Get off your high horse and lighten up.

10:49 - someone who has an elderly mother who was terrorized, attacked and had personal items stolen while in a nursing home by nursing home employees who were convicted fellons - but the state didn't know about it because they don't do nonscheduled inspections anymore!!!

Isn't Charlie Crist jealous?
Posted by: | July 04, 2008 at 12:27 PM
Who cares?
Posted by: | July 04, 2008 at 12:30 PM
Greer couldn't resist making a partisan comment at a time like that? What a hack!

Yes, you are right 10:42... private school all the way! But, not for the reasons you think. I would never send my child to public school because all of the teachers all liberal democrat losers, like you. I don't want those people brainwashing my child!
Posted by: 10:42 is an idiot | July 04, 2008 at 01:49 PM
1:49 - then pay decent salaries so we don't have to hire liberal losers!!!!
Don't forget these public school graduates will some day work for your company or provide your health care.
Only the short-sighted and self-absorbed are stupid enough to write off public education!

Obama has let down the Democratic progressive party. He wants to keep troops in Iraq, he wants to make church a part of government. What change is he going to inflict on us next?
Abandon Obama, Go GREEN in '08

Obama is hunkering down for 100 years of troops in Iraq:
He said that when he (Obama) talked earlier about refining his policy after talking with commanders in Iraq, he was referring not to his 16-month timeline, but to how many troops may need to remain in Iraq to train the local army and police and what troop presence might be needed "`to be sure al-Qaida doesn't re-establish a foothold there."
He's getting troops out but REPLACING them with more troops and maintaining a presence indefinitely!
Obama is CHANGING his core plans each day moving closer to November.

Yep insider, I'm sure you're making out like a bandit!!! Unfortunately, those who aren't political appointees or U.S. Sugar, CSX, or St. Joe Paper Company are suffering!!!!
We don't have the opportunity to treat the state's general revenue as if it were our own personal checking account!
Quite frankly, I can't affor you, the "insider" or Greer or Crist or any of the other Republican Leadership who lines their pockets at the taxpayer expense.
Lots and lots of us are going to "Remember in November" and, hopefully, you'll be an "outsider" looking for a job!
