RPOF: Let's eat cake!

So how do you go about raising more than a quarter-of-a-million-bucks in an hour if you're Jim Greer? Why leverage the governor's 52nd birthday, of course.

This invite has gone out to RPOF loyalists inviting them to spend $5,200 to "sponsor" one of 52 candles on a cake for Gov. Charlie Crist's RPOF-sponsored birthday bash at The Breakers. It's a private function lasting just one hour on July 24.

For the math challenged, that's $270,400-worth of cake-topping fire power. Wonder what they'd charge you to sponsor the cake itself? Do you get to pick the flavor or is that $10,000 more?

Give credit where credit is due. Greers name might be on it but its not his idea!

Wonder if they'll invited Dr_Dug to perform as assclown.

Any takers?

It's my party and I'll cry if I want to ....

It's all in your mind, you whiners!

If you sponsor one of these candles you should be stoned publicly at the intersection of College and Monroe and then forced to hop on board a one way flight to Barrow, Alaska.

If it was Greer's idea, you would be able to sponsor the stripper who jumps out of the cake.

Maybe someone could spend the $5,200 and by Carole a nicer engagement ring.

If it was Charlie's idea he would have Senator Geller jump out of the cake and each one of the candles would be sponsored by a House Dem..

I'd sponsor a candle if Mrs. Rome jumped out of the cake...

its 50K to sponsor the cake, fyi

Under Greer, RPOF has morphed into CPOF - Crist Party of Florida. Makes me want to upchuck.

Department of Corrections has laid off 85 parole officers. They've now laid off several of their attorneys. Maybe next they'll lay off prison guards and the prisoners will just guard themselves.

After all, we should start this "trusting" them now - before they finish their graduate degree in crime at the prison.

Humm, maybe once they're paroled we can hire them as teachers' aides - after all our schools are drop-out factories!

But all is right is Republican-world - who cares that a kid is denied a heart-transplant because he is a foster kid and the state is too incompetent to make sure he gets good care? And who cares if nursing home residents are cared (or abused) by the felons hired by the nursing homes? And who cares if children are murdered because the state child abuse investigator had too many cases and wasn't able to get the report turned into the police? Who cares? Not the Republicans.

Remember in November!

Crist: Let's eat c-ock!

wonder if Bruce and Jason will be there?

Just sent in my $.52

Thanks Meredith for a great 20 months.

2nd course is Crow - on the house.

Got to give it to Greer, He really has made the RPOF the Crist PR Dept. No other Chairman would have put up with this crap. It really is a sham because Greer has done alotof good for the Party, but he works to hard in protecting Crist and making him look good.

8:51- How can you saw greer is a good chairman. The man has blown through more money than a drunken college student. Ex: this recent european trip at 12k a pop. No more donations ever again for this former supporter

Rise up, NATION OF WHINERS and shake off the funk of your MENTAL RECESSION!

Hillary is hawking
"the winning T shirt"...

Charlie his candles...

flea market?

soiree?

both unseemly yet smarmy and focused just as partisans demand,
