Birthday cake hurled onto Lieberman

A little more to that Miami traffic accident yesterday involving Joe Lieberman aboard the Straight Talk Express: Turns out the impact sent a staffer's chocolate birthday cake with thick white frosting smack into the Connecticut senator

"At the moment of impact I was sitting in a booth ... right in front of counter right where the cake was. The cake went all over me. That was the end of my suit,'' he said, apologizing for the lack of suit for a taping of "Political Connections" on Bay News 9. "I always wondered whether sometime a political protester would hit me with a pie in the face. I never thought a friendly birthday cake would attack me from the rear."

Lieberman, who might just be spending more time in Florida than Barack Obama Florida co-chair and MD homeowner Robert Wexler, also brushed off Wexler's suggestion that he's a different person than he was seven years ago.

McCain stood with Bush next to Air Force One photo op of his birthday cake --- while New Orleans was drowning. Now he claims to NOLA that if he was president he'd fly right there.

The Neocon cabal (including Lieberman) has done immense and perhaps irreparable damage to this Country, our Constitution and the Planet. S&L Savings and Loan crisis certainly involved W's brother Marvin Bush. Marvin was in the epicenter of the scandal and should be in jail. Thank goodness dad held higher offices in this country to keep two of his son's out of jail time after time. As for John Ellis Bush, he kept his head above such water lines as far as I know... even though, he supported Newt's kingdom-come proposal of The New American Century bull..
