DNC: Crist, the next Cheney

The Democratic National Committee released on Tuesday a new website dedicated to "vetting" all of Sen. John McCain's possible vice presidential picks, compared to Veep Dick Cheney. Of course, they include a page dedicated to Gov. Charlie Crist.

While the DNC steers clear of accusing anyone of shooting lawyers, the website does accuse Crist of having trouble with ethics. The Buzz hears that the DNC tapped the state Democratic Party for all their files on Gov. Crist last month.

They call Crist the education gov. yet under his "Leadership" Things have gotten worse for education instead of better. Teachers are having to take pay cuts. there are no longer the A+ school Money and to think he might be a heartbeat away from being President.

I'd believe this if Cheney were a fake-platinum-hair-dyed, suntanned manorexic who was also a closet case engaged to a beard because he might be tapped for VP. Sure. I could see that. I guess.

Democrats accusing anyone of lacking ethics is nonsensical!

Republicans....they're very good at negative campaigning.

They're not so good at governing.

when you think of republican you should always think of cheney; he really sums up the 'double standard - so long as my asss is safe -- screw you all' attitude I've witnessed coming from the GOP my entire life.

There's really no hate like Republican hate.

Woo Hoo!!! If this is all they have, we are going to win!!!!

The next Cheney? The last time I looked, Cheney's only association with the other team was having a gay daughter...

OMG....someone reallyreally has to HATE CC to call him "the next cheney"!

otherwise why would someone refer to an apparently harmless twit in the same sense as that lyingmurderouspileofdogkrap walking around in skin?

didnt think "the next stalin" or "the next hitler" was appropriate?

Sigh. Does anyone remember the days when you could disagree with someone without being called a "hater?"

1:06 Democrats and independents probably hate you too, you've just never noticed.

Crist is the next Cheney? So McCain wins?

The St. Pete Times is acting more and more like MSNBC. Crist has his faults, but why refer to him as the next Cheney? What did this add to the story, other than an editorial bias? You will never see the St.Pete Times refer to Obama using his given middle name, but it ok to trash talk Republicans. Go figure.

Crist cannot possibly be the next Cheney...

That implies that Crist would make the ticket...and that's not going to happen...in your lifetime, our lifetime, and more importantly, in his lifetime.

I really do know Dick Cheney. Believe me, Charlie Crist is no Dick Cheney. Cheney's IQ is double that of Charlie's and unlike Crist he shoots lawyers. He doesn't suck up to them as Crist loves to do. Being the next Dick Cheney is the highest compliment yet that the Times has paid to our feeble Governor.

Um, person at 2:57, the DNC called him Cheney, the St. Pete Times just reports. Like FOX News: They report, you decide whether Charlie has anything in common with Dick Cheney. Dick got six deferments, and Charlie doesn't go to work. Dick lied the nation into a war. Charlie lied his way into office. Dick eats puppies. Charlie is a puppy. See?

Please forgive the Dems Charley. As much as I believe that he is a missdirected weakling,He is a member of the Florida Bar in good standing and is not a criminal like Cheaney..Heres to you Charlie.Did I tell you that you better get used to Visiting neimans in Bal Harbour ..She is not a Wal mart girl!

Paris mocks McCain in new ad...

I finally understand why the DNC hates Cheney. He shoots lawyers. Most of the DNC are lawyers.

I'm with Shakespeare...

i liked that Paris video -- thx for posting

McCain: The problem to all of our Solutions!

Actually Paris' solution is exactly the position of McCain. So in reality, does she support his campaign?

I think this is giving Charlie entirely too much credibility.

So Charlie now says we can be producing oil off the coast of Florida in about a year and a half. Gonna "help those people at the pump". Show us you're sincere that you really want to help us Charlie, and that you aren't just caving in to the big money multinational oil companies. Put your office where your mouth is. Guarantee us...in writing...that every single drop of oil pumped off Florida's coast will be refined and used exclusively in the United States.

Mr. McCain we expected better...
