Meet the Democratic electors

This time the Florida Democrats managed to get a quorum - despite Fay - to pick their presidential electors: Chip Arnt; T. Wayne Bailey; Fred Balsera; Terrie Brady; Karl Flagg; Joe Gibbons; Janet Goen; James Golden; Chris Hand; Marlon Hill; Tony Hill; Joan Joseph; Allan Katz; Gena Keebler; Joan Lane; Caren Lobo; Rick Minor; Jared Moscowitz;  Angela Rodante; Frank Sanchez; Juanita Scott; Geraldine Thompson; Karen Thurman; Carmen Torres; Kirk Wagar; Enoch Williams; Frederica Wilson.

The party says it's the most ethnically and geographically diverse group Florida Democrats have ever had.

Great. Idiots on parade.

Led by the biggest idiot of all, Fredierica Wilson.

Mazel tov to my fellow Florida Democrats who are electors. I look forward to you all making the trip to send Florida's 27 electoral votes to DC for our next President, Barack Obama!

Was Gary Siplin busy and not able to go?

No Harry Sargeant? He raised more money for Democrats than Thurman has.

Sorry 03:05, they don't go to DC, they actually just go to Tallahassee to cast their vote. Little bit of a buzzkill...

They are a crew, all right.

Reuters/Zogby Shows McCain +5 (46 to 41) in poll of 1086 likely voters.

Seems like a Brown Shirt list of anti-Americans.

Any from Tampa Bay?

Sounds like the kiss of death to me!

What a bunch of whining losers!

The Chairman put herself up to be voted on? Nice Karen!! Talk about greedy.

Fredrica Wilson is the Republicans best friend. She even voted, as a member of the nominating council for PSC, for Rojas to be considered as a PSC commissioner. He is a lobbyist/ attorney and he was largely involved with the largest telecom rate hikes in Florida history and he was even hired by the telecom industry. But dear Fredrica obeys the commands of the ethically challenged Republican Alex Diaz Di La Portilla who's wife has been a well known utility lobbyist. Now he gets Chairmanship of a council that helps appoint people to be regulators at the PSC, of these very same utilities. This has got to be a joke. Not one paper has revealed this to the people of this state. Governor Crist better think twice about Rojas being appointed as well as the others who are clearly the utilities favorites. Fredrica you should be ashamed of yourself. Think for yourself or get someone who has some idea of what ethics mean, and ask them for help.

Wilson has not shown any independence. She needs to be directed and she usually gets that direction from which ever Republican from Miami is in charge. In this case, it's Diaz Di La Portilla. Shameful, isn't it?

It won't matter because Obama is going to lose no matter what.

Congratulations! Gena Keebler, Marlon Hill, Frank Sanchez, Tony Hill, Caren Lobo, Kirk Wager - you all have been awesome Obama supporters for more than a year!

Congratulations!

Karen Thurman. You are amazing. Thank you, it is a shame that today's meeting had to happen, based of the selfish efforts of some self promoting insiders last weekend, but you handled it with grace and style.

Thank you.

Senator Wilson is one of the best Democrats in the Senate. She works hard for the people of Florida, not just Miami.

I am proud that she is a Democrat.

the dem party in fla is dead!

They are all half azz anyway, will their 1/2 votes make them quarter azz?

My Friend Frederica is a good person and a great Floridian fighting the GOP attaks on education..As many of you nay sayers know she is "Elitist"=Uppity,Aloof=Educated and intelligenT,Lacks experience=uppity black woman with a big mouth who fights GOP right wing policies.Did I git your talking points ??.Let me check my daily fox news EMAIL.

HA! And people cry about their vote not counting! This is exactly why. Electors are obsolete. Back in the days with limited communication, this system made sense. In a time with instant communication, vote counts can be reported instantly after tally. There is no need for an electoral college any longer.

These azzhats merely represent the dinosaur of elections past. If these hypocrits want to go around preaching about how every vote counts, maybe the electoral college should be dissolved entirely. Only then will every vote count as elections would be based on obtaining the highest vote count.

Oh yeah, I get it. They can't do that. They lose their power in this great hypocracy guised as democracy. If the founding fathers were alive today, surely there would be talk of another Boston Tea Party.

Someone should ask Jon Ausman why he didn't show yesterday and almost put the Democrats' votes at risk.

11:10- Ausman is just angry that he didn't make the list.
