Senate races so far

Looks like Democratic Sen. Gary Siplin is going to win his primary and in the Republican primary Nancy Detert is beating Michael Grant, but it's close. And in Senate District 23, Chris Smith is winning his primary.

The people have no clue and they vote for the one that has the most money to sell their garbage. Siplin is a crook. PERIOD The Repubs gave him lots of money to beat his D opponent because his opponent could beat the R running. Siplin has a greater chance of losing to the R. What a bunch of total c r a p .

This guy was caught running out of his office and jumping over a high fench to get away from the press but the people keep voting for him. You get what you deserve. I wonder if the people know that the Senate President a Repub, sent Siplin lots of money ?Idiots

The R's are going to go after Siplin big time now. They are going to tell all. Siplin is a crook that should have gotten out and let his Primary opponent have a chance at retaining that seat. Thurman should be thrown out of her position because she knew Siplin was being funded by the R's soley to make sure their candidate wins in the general. Siplin is very vulnerable in the general and the R's are going to hand Siplin his a s s. What a bunch of freakin morons.

I am a Republican, But Hillary is kicking total a s - . She just gave a speech that no one is going to beat. She really kicked butt.

"Detert edges Grant in state Senate primary"

HILLARY for Pres

Storms is going to resign. The boys are trying to keep her there until the vote for the next President. They hate ger and talk so poorly of her all the time. She should sticl it to them. She will be supporting Byrd to take her place and it looks like he will win. Thanks JD Alexander, you are to blame for this. Byrd in the Senate is the last straw. King and others will not do a thing to insure Byrd does not get there. The Senate is as good as dead.

The trial lawyers got caught in the Siplin race, pure and simple. Trying to buy the race for their "life-long Democrat" convert from the Republican party just didn't sit well with the voters, who, despite some of the opinions posted here, were smart enough to see through that scam.

ST. PETE TIMES; HOW COME THERE ISN'T ANYTHING ON THE BLOGS ABOUT THE PINELLAS COUNTY SHERIFFS RACE?
