Virginians for C.W. Bill Young
A whopping $8 out of every $10 that U.S. Rep. C.W. Bill Young has raised from individuals for his reelection campaign has come from out of state. That's according to a new analysis by CQ Moneyline, an on-line arm of Congressional Quarterly, which is a sister publication of the St. Petersburg Times.
Using Federal Election Campaign data filed thorugh June, CQ Moneyline determined that a full 81 percent of Young's donations from individuals, amounting to some $242,000, has come from out of state.
Just 19 percent, or $57,150, has come from Floridians.
That means Young, an Indian Shores Republican, is tied for ninth among U.S. House candidates in contributions from out of state, CQ Moneyline Reports.
Young is the only Republican to make the top 10, which is topped by Appropriations Chairman David Obey, D-Wis.
The biggest chunk of his change - $83,650 - came from Virginia. That's thanks to the high concentration of defense contractors in Northern Virginia, who have given liberally to Young, the top Republican on the defense approprations subcommittee. Young also got sizeable donations from New York, Washington, D.C., and Maryland.
Overall, Young has raised $611,000 for his reelection campaign. The Democrats vying to challenge him have raised far less: Max Linn has raised $388,000, though about $350,000 of that has come from his own bank account. Bob Hackworth has raised $71,781 and Samm Simpson, Young's opponent in 2006, has raised $22,486.

"... $242,000, has come from out of state."
"Just 19 percent, or $57,150, has come from Floridians."
That's our "Trade you a boondoggle for a contribution" boy CW!

It doesnt matter where Bill Young raises his money... He will still slaughter whichever of the 3 bafoons makes it out of the primary.

What is to worry? It isn't like politicians sell themselves to donors for the cash to get re-elected. Why voters can all make up our minds by watching TV commercials and reading roadside signs and all that money won't matter.
This is American democracy at its best.

Bill Young doesnt even have to campaign or run one single ad. He wins because everyone knows him.
Oh and Max Linn is an idiot and Hackworth is a fraud.

This way Young can spend more time in Washington looking out for his consistuents back home. This way Virginia's are sending their money to Florida. Meanwhile Obama is always out grubbing for money and missing votes. VOTE FOR BARACK HUSSEIN AND HAVE AN OBAMANATION. But, A VOTE FOR BILL YOUNG IS ONE LESS VOTE FOR NANCY PELOSI.

Given how much more gas prices are since Pelosi and her radical socialist band took over as well as the huge increase in my Homeowners Insurance I cannot afford to donate to the Young campaign this time. Thank you so much Virginians for standing with a great American Congressman and helping to provide him the resources to beat the upcoming smear machine.
