Crist in St. Paul in spirit
Gov. Charlie Crist may not have made the trip to the Twin Cities, but he was there in spirit at a party honoring him for Florida delegates at the John J. Hill Library in St. Paul.
The Florida delegation appeared to hit its peak Tuesday evening, with many lobbyists and lawmakers, including House Speaker Marco Rubio and state Sen. Jeff Atwater, having flown in for the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning sessions.

i had to go to st. paul once -- it was by far the most boring city i've ever visited
may have had more culture than tampa bay -- but it seemed empty and....dry.

I was there, Can Greer Praise Crist anymore then does?, Greatest Governor, Greatest this , Greatest that, then other speakers top it off by saying Greer is the Greatest Chairman in the country, I guess it was just a GREAT night!!!

Crist missed the big night that Jim Greer put together to Honor Charlie, Red carpet, a toast to the Governor, then a video and remarks by Greer about Crist. Even when CC is not somewhere Greer makes it seem like he is there , its magic!

poor pitiful Chuck Crist!
didn't get the VP nod, didn't get to go to St. Paul.
opportunist Charlie is trying to stay relevant now that he's out of the running for VP.
thank god for hurricanes. Chuck's trying to repair his battered image as an "empty chair" governor by looking all "commander in chiefish" while manning the EOC in Tally.
remember, Chuck's "I'm a Jeb Bush Republican" although he hasn't accomplished anything close to what Jeb Bush did when he was in office?
poor pitiful Chcuk...hope Carol Rome's keeping him company. must be a complete drag to have to stay home in Tally and actually represent the people of Florida like he's supposed to.
this is all a big comedown for Charlie the tuna.

Once these storms have gone through and he does not have to pretend to be occupied will he actually address some fundamental problems real people are experiencing in this state.
Property insurance is largely unavailable outside Citizens and is extremely expensive. Yet every time I open the business section there is an article about huge profits at All-State etc. Then they talk about the benefits of storms, gaining more pricing power.
How about government spending on things that are wasteful? There are many things state government is involved in to "pay off" political insiders that need to go by the wayside as far as taxpayers are involved and become dependent on private funding by the big shots themsleves.
Finally, what in the world is being done about illegal immigration. We have illegal aliens raping a young woman in St Petersburg at the Table Restaurant and who knows how much taxpayer funds are being spent on education, health care, incarceration etc. Whatever is being spent on illegal aliens should not be, it should be funding education for American children as well as reduce the budget demands of government.
Does anyone know how much taxpayer funding is being used to support illegal immigration in this state?
Our Governor is not protecting the citizens and serving the people, what is he doing now that he is not campaigning for a VP slot?

Palin will pull a Perot within two weeks and clear a path for Jindal. They were only waiting to see how he’d do with Gustov… write it down!
Trust me; these treasonous reprobates will not only exploit the death of young American men and women for corporate profit and daddy’s revenge, they’d sell their out-of-wedlock baby to keep the boondoggles flowing to Halliburton, Blackwater, and the like…
