McCain adviser Carly Fiorina "is facing criticism from some within the campaign" for her comments yesterday stating that "neither member of the Republican ticket would be capable of running a company," CNN reports.

Said a top campaign adviser: "Carly will now disappear. Senator McCain was furious."

"Fiorina was booked for several TV interviews over the next few days, including one on CNN. Those interviews have been canceled."

Do you really want McCain, who has already said he doesn't know much about Economics, running the Country further into the ground?!?!

That’s what telling the truth gets you in the Republicon Party.

John McCain specifically objected to three earmarks that Sarah Palin requested as mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, including a dubious agricultural-processing facility designed to promote local produce.

Palin has a consistent record of chasing the bacon that McCain has fought for years. She pulled in $27 million in earmarks as mayor, requested $450 million in earmarks as governor and even supported the state's notorious Bridge to Nowhere before she opposed it. There isn't enough lipstick in Alaska to cover all that pork.

4:34 if you are going to repeat this all over the place; stop the bias.

Carly included Obama and Biden in her statement.

I am here to say that there are very few people in DC that could run one of the worlds largest corporations.

And I am wrong because......?

McSenile has already admitted that his understanding of “economy” is that it was a rental car category.

Dubya’s paying back some serious markers with our taxes before he ducks out of sight, and if McSenile gets in… it will be the end of the United States of America as we know it.

May God help us all.

Obama left the community he was organizing to move to a rich lilly white neighborhood.

That was after his wife earned a $200,000 annual raise in salary.

That was right after he was elected to the Senate.

This is very common in America.

I don't beleive this poll. There is no way Obama is even with Mac. McCain will thump Obama in Florida.

4:41

It has to be tough to get up in the morning and be you. Why in the world do you root for bad news to blame on the GOP?

What is bad for Americans is good for the Democraps.

Pathethic moron....

this poll is an outlier it does not match anything else out there.

n~Factor -6%

Since President Bush and the Republicans have been in office, median income for working-aged Americans has gone down by over $2,000 after adjusting for inflation. Family income is going down. People are spending more for food. The cost of gas, of course, is now off the wall. College education costs are up.

Of course McCain says "the fundamentals of our economy are strong."

The truth is, that the fundamentals of our economy are strong if you are in the top 1% percent of our country.

If you're a millionaire or billionaire, you know what, the fundamentals of the economy are very strong. For the rest of us though...not so much.

Take a look at the Tax Cuts McCain gives the Millionaires...

My guess is the moron above doesn't have a single dollar invested in the market.

If the news was Stock Market stabilizes; goes up record 2,000 points; you would be depressed.

What is good for America is bad for Democraps.

Pathetic moron...

If the CNN polls show its tied up, McCain must have at least a double digit lead.

You quote the Washington Post and we are supposed to believe it?

Did you hear that the news from yesterday; you know the part where Obama committed TREASON by asking Iraq to resist troop withdrawal until after the election has now been confirmed.

Yeah thats right; read it and weep!

Yours is a false god and has now been exposed for what he is.

Imaging your son or daughter in Iraq is held back because of Obama and gets killed waiting to go home.

He need to be brought up on charges of treason.

What is your spin now? How Palin threw litter out her car window?

WICK ALLISON, former publisher of national review, endorses barak obama over johnnie mcBUSH!

go to daily kos for full text of his endorsement, which is HARSH on mcBUSH, W, and todays crop of "conservatives"!

fascinating, captain!

ahhhh, 4.58....the nypost "article" you refernce is from a notorious LIAR

just google him and see his record.

thats why no one else but the post carried the story

real journalists know IT'S ALL A LIE!!

have some more kool-aid, honey!!

Dear 4:46 p.m.,

I believe that I could have run Lehman Brothers at least as well as the guy who ran it into the ground. In fact, I would bet $80 billion or so that I could do better than the worst bankrupcy in the history of the country.

I wouldn't want Palin running the State of Florida, and don't get me started about how far Charlie is from being ready to be VP or President. He has 1000% more experience than she has having been a state senator, Governor of a state that is 24 times the size of Alaska, Education Commissioner and Attorney General, but you had better believe that I would be terribly disappointed if that was the best that McCain could come up with. Unfortunately, he did worse.

Rich, greedy, anti-American pissants lose their A S S E S in the wonderful Free Market! And NOW question polls since their senile pick is dropping.

Cry me a freaking river...

Thank God Obama/Biden will save this country from the freaking mess you Republicons, and your head d-head, have caused.

You're all treasonous bas-ards and should be tried and hanged.

WHILE campaigning in public for a speedy withdrawal of US troops from Iraq, Sen. Barack Obama has tried in private to persuade Iraqi leaders to delay an agreement on a draw-down of the American military presence.

According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his demand for delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in July.

"He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington," Zebari said in an interview.

Obama insisted that Congress should be involved in negotiations on the status of US troops - and that it was in the interests of both sides not to have an agreement negotiated by the Bush administration in its "state of weakness and political confusion."

"However, as an Iraqi, I prefer to have a security agreement that regulates the activities of foreign troops, rather than keeping the matter open." Zebari says.

Though Obama claims the US presence is "illegal," he suddenly remembered that Americans troops were in Iraq within the legal framework of a UN mandate. His advice was that, rather than reach an accord with the "weakened Bush administration," Iraq should seek an extension of the UN mandate.

While in Iraq, Obama also tried to persuade the US commanders, including Gen. David Petraeus, to suggest a "realistic withdrawal date." They declined.

4:50 Take your blinders off McToad.
I was merely pointing out that the Republicans and McBush are responsible for this rotten economy.

I want people to hold them accountable in November so we don't get 4 more years of this horrible mismanagement of America.

You just can't handle the truth. Republicans have Ruined the Economy.

Dear 5:04 dont you think it is a bit of a stretch, you getting promoted from McDonalds "Grill Manager" to running one of the largest companies in the world?

You Obamalots might want to brush up on the Logan Act.

Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.

This section shall not abridge the right of a citizen to apply himself, or his agent, to any foreign government, or the agents thereof, for redress of any injury which he may have sustained from such government or any of its agents or subjects.

Who needs an October Suprise: With this blatant FELONY, Obama's next residence may just be FEDERAL PRISON.

I heard they can use a community organizer there, so some good might come from it.

In fact, Obama had told the Iraqis that they should not rush through a “Strategic Framework Agreement” governing the future of US forces until after President George W. Bush leaves office, [Obama’s national security spokeswoman Wendy Morigi] said.

Welcome news comrades! We the People are now We the Owners. The People's Insurance Company, formerly known as AIG, was saved for the time being from the forces of capitalism by the new Union of Republican Socialists, formerly known as the GOP.

Now that the People own a major insurance company, it's fair to ask how the People's Insurance Company, along with the People's Mortgage Companies and the People's Investment Banks, will benefit the People who Own them. Can we expect lower premiums, equity sharing, and corporate perks for our hundreds of billions of dollars? Should we start checking our mailbox for dividend checks? Who gets paid first, claimants, bondholders, stockholders, or we the new taxpayer owners? We the Owners, want to know, and the Union of Socialist Republicans better damn well tell us, fast.

Taheri, who is now receiving death threats from Obama sympathizers, explains Wednesday how Team Obama’s rebuttal actually has the opposite result; it confirms the initial report. In other words, Obama has been trapped by his own admissions:

Obama, you know the great and all knowing one, really screwed up here.

Too bad, I was going to vote for him.

In a long interview with the pan-Arab daily Asharq al-Awsat, Zebari says: “Obamaasked me why, in view of the closeness of a change of administration, we were hurrying the signing of this special agreement, and why we did not wait until the coming of the new administation next year and agree on some issues and matters.”

Again, note that Zebari mentions a single set of agreements, encompassing both SFA and SOFA.

Zebari continues: “I told Obama that, as an Iraqi, I believe that even if there is a Democratic administration in the White House it had better continue the present policy instead of wasting a lot of time thinking what to do.”

In other words, Obama was trying to derail current US policy, while Zebari was urging him not to “waste time.”

Not only is this an egregious Logan Act violation, which is a felony, it is an act of deception and political manipulation at the expense of American lives. Not to mention a reversal of Obama’s main campaign promise….For his own selfish political gain.

Wow, sounds like he was above his pay grade here.

I would laugh, but as an American first; I just feel like crying.

McCain is up in Florida in every other poll. He has taken over in North Carolina, Virginia and Ohio...all states Obama was leading in...and Obama's lead in Pennsylvani has shrunk to 2% and 1.6% in Michigan. McCain has also flipped Nevada and Missouri. Moreover, Obama's double digit lead in Minnesota is now 2%. Do you see a pattern here? The country now can see through the paper thin resume of Obama...they are no longer willing to place their safety, security and future in the hands of an ambitious, inexperienced sweet talker.

The McCain campaign went looking for a major anchor to be awarded the blessing and the curse of the first Sarah Palin interview -- a blessing for ratings and a curse from all the competitors who would accuse the winners of being soft on Republicans. At CBS, Katie Couric had wallowed in fan-club-president questions to Hillary Clinton about her "pure stamina," so she couldn’t be first. NBC's Brian Williams kept asking Barack Obama those hardballs about how his late mother would swoon over the latest glowingly positive "news" magazine cover. How hard was it to pick Charlie Gibson on ABC?

O'Reily, like him or not, pushed Obama until he answered the question.

Too bad Bill kept running his big mouth at times and drowned out Obama's answers.

O'Reily is a windbag and surely not a conservative. His swooning over Obama tells you all you want to know.

5:19, you're the same guy that keeps on quoting the NY POST. I've already discredited you and you're back for more of your lies.

Do you know what the NY POST is? IT'S A TABLOID! They have headlines like "Headless Body in Topless Bar".

They also ran a headline that made former Secretary of State, James Baker look like an ape because he co-authored the Iraq Study Group. It read "Surrender Monkeys"

The NY Post is owned by Rupert Murdochw who is known to distort stories for his radical right wing agenda.

Stop referencing a tabloid as your source. You look like a fool when you accuse an American as a criminal when you get your information from a tabloid.

You truly are desperate.

The National Enquirer reports that Track Palin is a major drug addict and criminal and he was put in the military for punishment.

Why don't you reference this story?

With all of her ego drive flaws, I still prefer that Carly Fiorina be an advisor than 20 year brainwashing of Jeremy Wright, Ayers and Louis Farakan.

You try to sound intelligent and informed but you get your information from the NY POST????? What a joke! Do you get your knowledge of the economy from "In Touch"? Do you get your knowledge of foreign policy from "Us"? Do you get your knowledge of domestic policy from the "National Equirer?"

I guess you believe that "Woman Gives Birth to Living Headless Baby" also.

Why is the federal government always mimicking Florida? We elect Jeb, they elect George. We develop FCAT, they follow with No Child Left Behind. We socialize property insurance, and they buy AIG. Maybe now Florida ought to cut taxes.

It's comical how radical right wingers on this blog reach for stories and end up looking like fools.

Like connecting Bill Ayers with Barack Obama when Obama was an eight year old child when Ayers was active.

Just desperate measures by a defeated GOP.

Do you expect any other pro Obama poll results from CNN Time? The Obama simply needed some good news so the concocted this phony poll. Florida is in the tank for McCain and anyone who claims otherwise has his head up Obama's skinny butt.

Hey dude,
How about "Woman Marries a Shark"? That was in your tabloid also.

6:03 Nice try but you are dead Obama associate Ayers publicly reaffirmed his terrorist desires when Obama was 38. Don't forget that Obama went to Ayers to get Ayer's blessing to run for President. A convenient deceptive oversight on your part.

Did you get that info form the Daily Mirror? The one that said that "Britney Spears Leaves Kevin Federline for Bigfoot"

cnn~~ how shocking!!

Who gives a crap about Ayers, whoever that is, it's the damn economy that is falling apart. That's what is important!

What is either party going to do to give me some help! My husband USED to work for a financial company that is now bankrupt.

I've never laughed so hard in my life when you're here claiming to uncover some big scandal when you get your information from a tabloid.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!

Well Mrs.,
Just to let you know that the architect of the banking institutions and wall street is a guy named Phil Gramm. Former senator from Texas.

Phil Gramm authored the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act that deregulated banks and other financial institutions.

Phil Gramm's wife also sat on the board of Enron.

Phil Gramm called you and I "A nation of whiners"

Phil Gramm is John McCain's chief economic adviser and his choice for Secretary of the Treasury.

Your choice is clear. It is Barack Obama.

Someone prove me wrong. A republican congress passed it. Yeah, Clinton signed it but he's not running for president. That's a moot point.

John McCain is running for president and his right hand man is the architect of one of the biggest financial failures in our country's history. Case closed.

On top of that, he called you "A nation of whiners" while your husband lost his job. And while Americans are losing their homes. And more Americans are losing their retirement savings this week.

I Can See Russia From My House!
