Lisa Edgar keeps her job

Gov. Charlie Crist announced today that he was going to reappoint Lisa Edgar to the Public Service Commission.

Edgar was first appointed to the PSC in 2005 and served as chairwoman for 2006 and 2007. She is to begin a new four-year term on Jan. 2, 2009. The state Senate still has to sign off on the appointment.

Harris is a nasty little man who has bounced around that agency for far too long. He represents what is wrong with that staff. He struts around with a sense of entitlement that is only overshadowed by his incompetence.

Talk about morons Ryder Rudd is an imbecile. He was practically fired at DEP yet the hapless PSC has him in a leadership position.

The Governor did the right thing. Rojas was being pushed by a legislator with a wife who lobbies for the utilities. Rojas, when he was a legislator, pushed the worst telecom rate hike, and Charlie Crist as the AG rightly opposed it. It would be very hypocritical to now appoint Rojas, who by the way is currently a lobbyist.
The Dawson applicant had no real experience compared to Edgar and the Governor made the right choice. Thank you Governor for being level headed. Please keep doing the right thing.

2-Luis Rojas promises Sen. Alex Diaz dela Portilla that his wife Claudia the lobbyist will get all kinds of contracts with the utilities once he is a commissioner and they can split the deals.

3-Sen. Alex Diaz dela Portilla works tirelessly against Lisa Edgar and trashes her good name.

4-Lisa Edgar is reappointed.

Larry Harris is a good worker and its easy for the anonymous to impugn him. The Public Service Commission has a lot of good people working for them and he is among them.
