Crist writing off McCain in Fla?
One theory we've heard about Gov. Charlie Crist's call to extend early voting hours, a move likely to help Democrats: He sees Florida as a lost cause for McCain and wanted to shine up his bi-partisan image with an eye toward 2010.
Another theory: The governor thought it was the right thing to do.

its all about his image and his future he cares nothing about voters just himself
when is the wedding?

LOL this communist so called news organization will stop at nothing to smear and sway the the vote.

For anyone to believe that it is option B, there would have to be some evidence that Charlie Crist has ever done anything in his life because "it was the right thing to do."
Therefore, it is clearly option A.
Posted by: | October 29, 2008 at 10:03 AM
If I were you Mr.Crist I would distance myself so far from McCain as I possibly could.he's an old fool you should have run for President then there would not have been so much controversy, look at how many bad decisions he's already made, and there are many more to come,he hasn't a clue and as far as Palin, well she's a bad joke.Charlie if and when you decide to run you have my vote

I urge all the good Christians in Tampa Bay to pray for the victory of John McCain/Sarah Palin. An Obama presidency would leave us Christians behind. Obama does not love God like we do. Our church tonight will be having a prayer service to pray for the election. PRAY PRAY PRAY!

hey christian: howz that Iraq war going?

Posted by: surfdog | October 29, 2008 at 10:17 AM
McCain wants to take taxpayer money and buy up mortgages! This is socialist! He wants to spread the wealth!
Obama wants people to pay their fare share of taxes! If you earn $250,000 or more, your taxes will go up slightly while the middle class (most of us) will see a tax cut.
The choice is easy! OBAMA/BIDEN 2008

There are far too many "low information voters" in this state. Listening to soundbites, and rhetorical nonsense instead of taking the time to look at an independent neutral source of their choice to examine the issues that matter. Not only for their self-interest, but for the good of America. There are too many people voting along party lines without proper justification. How can anyone dismiss what has happened on the Rep watch over the last 8 years. If any reader thinks the promises that the Reps made will be fulfilled with a heavy Dem majority in Congress...think again. Forget party politics, vote for the good of America.

Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is calling for a "clean break" from the Bush administration's energy policies, which she says relied too much on importing foreign oil.
In a policy address Wednesday in Toledo, Ohio, Palin says the recent drop in oil and gas prices shouldn't prevent the development of alternative energy sources.
The Alaska governor renewed her call for more drilling in U.S. coastal waters and said she and GOP presidential candidate John McCain would press for the construction of 45 new nuclear power plants by 2030.
Palin also called for the development of clean-coal technology.

As shown above, liberal Obama supporters are haters, idiots, bigots, chauvinistic pigs, who relish in their ignorance. wait until you experience obama's power and cry to us who warned you. believe me, good people will be leaving and you'll end up paying all the taxes for the civilian security force, the new welfare payments, the war in afghanastan, the billions to africa, the new universal healthcare system, the earmarks to ACORN. GOOD LUCK!

Thought provoking would be the furthest thing from my mind when thinking about Obama's speech pattern. It's more like a debate technique used to buy more time to say something, seen in his debates when evading direct questions or when he could not think of an answer and when on tangents.
As for Sarah Palin, she's not "media savvy" sometimes when expressing her views and therefore looks like a tool. The liberal media has ate it up, but she has more executive experience than both Obama and Biden.

Obama in the white house with Nancy Pelosi in charge of a filibuster proof congress. Add to that four years of radical leftist Supreme court appointments. Throw in a mainstream media that distorts and manipulates news to promote the liberal agenda. Hollywood producing and endless stream of anti-American movies. And children being raised in an education system controled by the left.
People need to realize that America is in serious danger.
Posted by: yahasifff | October 29, 2008 at 10:59 AM
10:51 and let's face it, McCain was not a "fighter pilot." He flew a bomber that dropped napalm on Vietnamese villages, as in civilians. I know he was just following orders, but if it was me and I had to fry those innocent people, at least I would have denounced the war like Kerry.
Posted by: | October 29, 2008 at 10:59 AM

Posted by: | October 29, 2008 at 11:03 AM
Joe the Plumber would get a tax break under Senator Obama - so why is the McCain campaign using his name so much? It's almost like they are endorsing Senator Obama!
Posted by: | October 29, 2008 at 11:06 AM
Does the (one - countem - one) McToady posting all this pro-McCain lies and hate about Barack Obama actually have the support of John McCain? I mean, the polls show that the lies aren't working, especially among undecided voters. Why would McCain allow his minion to keep it up? If not for political strategy alone, wouldn't John McCain put a stop to it just out of decency? I mean, even if he were to somehow win, he would begin his first term as one of the most hated and disrespected Presidents in history. Does he think that once the election is over, people will not continue to remember his lies and to expose his underhanded tactics?
Posted by: | October 29, 2008 at 11:06 AM
Thank you. Don't let the nasty liberal comments bother you. I have learned this election that their tactics are nasty, snobby, and vicious. They only have words and no content, just like their phony prophet. They will not keep us down. When I say "us", I mean all of us, black, whites, purple, anyone. Stand up for what you believe in!
