Thought provoking would be the furthest thing from my mind when thinking about Obama's speech pattern. It's more like a debate technique used to buy more time to say something, seen in his debates when evading direct questions or when he could not think of an answer and when on tangents.

As for Sarah Palin,she's not "media savvy" sometimes when expressing her views and therefore looks like a tool.The liberal media has ate it up, but she has more executive experience than both Obama and Biden.
