Florida Democrats boast of 'huge gains'
The Florida Democratic Party says 20,119 more Floridians registered as Democrats than Republicans in September and that since the first of the year, the party is up 170,341.
From a FDP release: "According to the Department of State, 72,189 Floridians registered as Democrats while 52,070 people registered as Republicans during the month of September. Between Jan. 1, 2008, and Sept. 30, 2008, 803,909 people have registered to vote, including 360,478 Democrats, 253,294 Independents and NPAs, and 190,137 Republicans.
"Most striking is the net gain numbers, which factor in newly registered voters, party switchers and removes people who are no longer voters in Florida. Since January, the Florida Democratic Party has had a net gain of 415,580 voters, while the Republican Party of Florida has only gained 169,841. This shows that the gap between Democrats and Republicans in Florida has grown by 245,739 voters this year alone."
The RPOF responds below.

Erin VanSickle:
"It's the same story we hear every year, but can the Democrat turn these voters out? History tells us, 'no they can't.' Instead of bragging about their voter registration numbers, why wont the Democrat Party talk about Obama's dishonesty with the American people regarding his personal relationship with domestic terrorists like Bill Ayers or his risky plans for the economy?"

I respect John McCain for everything he plans to do for us seniors. By handing our retirement benefits over to Wall Street, he will ensure that we contribute to the vibrant new service economy as we re-join the workforce in our golden years. And by cutting our medicare and medicaid, he keeps us from becoming dreaded socialist parasites who would otherwise drag down our economic resurgence. In addition, under his health care plan, we'll probably die 5 years sooner, and thus our worldly posessions will be more quickly recycled into the global free market economy. Hooray for John McCain! He makes seniors a vital part of his economic recovery package!

The Republicans have made enemies of an entire generation of Americans.
In 2000, I was a High School sophomore and America was prosperous and at peace. The Republicans have presided over the collapse of our economy, of our middle class, and of our national security.
I am 25 years old, and I will never vote Republican again. I have many friends in the 18-29 cadre -- most of which were John McCain Republicans in 2000 -- who agree with me in this regard.
We are angry. Our elders have betrayed us, and our generation is out for vengeance.

Polling 101 - This weeks assignment: The nFactor at work.
Read and discuss:
"Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley, an African-American Democrat, in 1982 unexpectedly lost his candidacy for governor of California. His defeat followed voters telling pollsters they prefer a black candidate and then voting the other way.
"In California's primary last Tuesday, Obama lost by a landslide 10 percentage points after a late survey showed him ahead by 13 points and other polls gave him a smaller lead."
For extra credit:
Name 3 of Obama's best friends.
For 10 extra points name an Obama associate that isn't a dirtbag.

"finally" at 12:33 is obviously pro-democracy and makes an excellent point. But why stop at two parties? Are we listening to all of the best and brightest to lead us out of the mess in which our great and multi-talented nation presently finds itself? We have the brain power of some 300 million people - some of the most educated people in the world - and this is the best political discourse we can come up with in our time of perilous need? We need to be listening to as many smart people as we can. Make your voice heard. Let everyone know you want to hear from ALL the QUALIFIED candidates who have overcome onerous burdens to have their names appear on this year's ballot. Please go here and see what I'm talking about, and then tell ten friends:

Barack Obama is unamerican.
He handed millions to developers in Chicago to build & manage slums. One was Syrian convict Tony Reszko. The slums are still slums.
He worked for 5 years on the Chicago Annenberg Challenge with Domestic Terrorist Bill Ayers. Then Ayers hosted a campaign event for his friend, Barack Obama.
He spent 20 years in the Church of his "spiritual advisor", the Minister who married him, baptized his daughters. The Minister who screamed "God Da_n America!" And feels we deserved 9/11 for supporting Israel
Unfit, untrained, Unamerican.

HOMELESS 'DRIVEN' TO VOTE OBAMA
CLEVELAND - Volunteers supporting Barack Obama picked up hundreds of people at homeless shelters, soup kitchens and drug-rehab centers and drove them to a polling place yesterday on the last day that Ohioans could register and vote on the same day, almost no questions asked.
The huge effort by a pro-Obama group, Vote Today Ohio, takes advantage of a quirk in the state's elections laws that allows people to register and cast ballots at the same time without having to prove residency.
Republicans have argued that the window could lead to widespread voter fraud because officials wouldn't have an opportunity to verify registration information before ballots were cast.
Among the volunteers were Yori Stadlin and Vivian Lehrer of the Upper West Side, who got married last week and decided to spend their honeymoon shepherding voters to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.
Early today, Stadlin's van picked up William Woods, 59, at the soup kitchen of the Bishop Cosgrove Center.
"I never voted before," Woods said, because of a felony conviction that previously barred him from the polls. "Without this service, I would have had no way to get here."

Fraud, racial discrimination allegations mar voter registrations
Elections board Director Sally LaSota said the flawed forms are incomplete or contain unreadable handwriting -- similar to hundreds of other forms that ACORN produced prior to this week. She said some ACORN vote canvassers apparently pulled names and addresses from telephone books and forged signatures in Lake County
CROWN POINT | New voter registrations closed Monday in Lake County with possible record-breaking numbers and simmering allegations of fraud and racial discrimination.
Elections board Director Sally LaSota said more than 12,000 voter registration forms are waiting to be processed from recent days before the county knows how many potential voters are ready to cast ballots in the Nov. 4 general election.

General Lee and Martin Luther King happen to have the same birthday.
Whereas Lee followed his home state, Virginia, in attempting to succeed from the nation. Hence, why it's not known as his day ... he was a traitor to the nation.
President Lincoln offered him to be a leader in the national armed forces - he refused and in turn, became a traitor to the United States of America.
I bet you think it's okay for the AIP to work so hard to succedd from the nation too? that'd make you a traitor as well.
and not a good supporter of the proud American troops and Veterans.

So, you say General Lee is a traitor to the Union.
Was George Washington a traitor to the King of England?
+5 points - select one.
a) Only the rebel who loses is the traitor
b) The traitor is a contrarian and is always wrong.
c) There is nothing to fight for. 'I surrender!'
d) None of the above.

Yes, we see the numbers and on paper we got our butts kicked really really really badly, but these people don't really count because we are going to "voter cage" them and manipulate the electronic counting systems so that really . . . those people won't count. So, there!
The best that Erin could come up with is that they always have to listen to the Democrats crow about their registration numbers? Ayers? She is going to bring up the economy? This would be funny if it wasn't so sad.
What she really meant to write was that the ROP of Florida is only working at 50% for McCain because he failed to pick Charlie who was the only reason he got the nomination over Romney in the first place. McCain is now getting what he deserves in Palin, and the state party is just going to repeat his junk about Ayers until McCain loses by a landslide.
