Obama ad aims to make McCain look shady

ObamabackFlorida voters are now getting a political mailer from the state Democratic Party that accuses Sen. John McCain of hiding "something." On both sides of the mailer, they use a picture of a white businessman (McCain?) tucking something into his coat pocket. The mailer targets McCain's health care policy.

Check out the jump for the other side.

McCain is a crook. Just look at the Keating 5 scandal that brought down the Saving & Loans in the late 1980's.
McCain is doing it again with this 1 trillion dollar giveaway to his banker cronies.

Jennifer and SP Times reporters -- please ask Gov. Crist and Legislative leaders whether they agree that Barack Obama is a "terrorist's best friend, or whether, god forbid, he has "terrorist bloodlines."

That's the sentiment John McCain is whipping up at rallies:

http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/1008/Bloodlines.html?showall

Make moderates like the Governor say whether he condones this kind of racial sentiment being pushed by John McCain.

McCain and his republican toadies have r@ped and pillaged our economy.

Remember McCain can't even remember how many homes he owns he is so filthy Rich.

Country is Headed to a Constitutional Crisis

(Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania – 10/06/08) - Philip J. Berg, Esquire, the Attorney who filed suit against Barack H. Obama challenging Senator Obama’s lack of “qualifications” to serve as President of the United States, announced today that Obama and Democratic National Committee [DNC] filed a Joint Motion for Protective Order to Stay Discovery Pending a Decision on the Motion to Dismiss (which was) filed on 09/24/08.

While legal, Berg stated he is “outraged as this is another attempt to hide the truth from the public; it is obvious that documents do not exist to prove that Obama is qualified to be President.” The case is Berg v. Obama, No. 08-cv-04083.

Their joint motion indicates a concerted effort to avoid the truth by attempting to delay the judicial process, although legal, by not resolving the issue presented: that is, whether Barack Obama meets the qualifications to be President.

It is obvious that Obama was born in Kenya and does not meet the “qualifications” to be President of the United States pursuant to our United States Constitution. Obama cannot produce a certified copy of his “Vault” [original long version] Birth Certificate from Hawaii because it does not exist.

McCain gives us the best chance to carry on Bush policies. If you want this country to continue with same economic, foreign, civil, environmental policies, you'll vote for McCain!!

McCain/Palin 08'

Elect me president.
I promise my first act as president will be to hold a press conference declaring that I will pardon any person who kills those who commit voter fraud.

Look at the bright side of such a policy: a week after I take office, there will not be a SINGLE Democrat left in this country.

Just look at all the kooky commies all CELEBRATING voter fraud:

- What's wrong with hiring felons to register new voters?

You're right. Similarly, what is wrong with hiring child mollesters to work at 1st grade teachers? Just as long as they are working as YOUR 1st grade teachers?

- When did the homeless not become Americans?

No one said anything like that. But paying the homeless to sign their names on absentee ballots should be punnished with SUMMARY EXECUTION!

As I already said, Democrats simply DON'T CARE about ANYTHING except electing people who call themselves Democrats. Look at the people they have elected:

Murderers (Ted Kennedy).
Rapists (Bill Clinton).
CHILD rapists (Gerry Studds).
Those who run prostitution rings (Barney Frank).
Real estate and loan thieves (Hillary Clinton).
People who were caught buying votes (Nancy Pelosi).

It is a FACT that according to Democrats, a criminal record is a PLUS when it comes to politicians!

Thuggery From The Good Ole Days

THIS, is just yet another Obama tactic, that he has used his whole life-DECEPTION. He used it in his dubious Chicago Days, with ousting two opponents by removing them from the ballot

Uhuru Movement Endorses McKinney/Clemente

The International People’s Democratic Uhuru Movement (InPDUM) has endorsed the McKinney/Clemente ticket in the U.S. presidential race. The endorsement was based on the support that Green Party V.P. candidate Rosa Clemente’s expressed for InPDUM’s “Revolutionary National Democratic Program, during her participation in InPDUM’s 17th Annual Convention, held September 27 – 28, 2008 in St. Petersburg, Florida.

On August 1, 2008, InPDUM leader Diop Olugbala led a widely publicized protest at a Barack Obama pep rally that raised the question, “What About the Black Community?” Dissatisfied with Obama’s response, the organization invited all of the presidential candidates to attend its Convention to respond to that question. InPDUM spokespeople had indicated that, based on a candidate’s willingness to embrace the group’s “Revolutionary National Democratic Program”, it would make an endorsement in the U.S. presidential race,

InPDUM’s International President Ivory Sobukwe-SoDaye stated, “We are here today to put forward a Revolutionary National Democratic Program that we would like to see all institutions, organizations, candidates and individuals to forward in the world. This is the program of the African community. At the foundation of this program is self-determination. We say that self-determination is the highest expression of democracy.

“Democracy is not the right to vote for a white power candidate. Democracy is not the power to vote on a bill by George Bush. Self-determination is the ability to have control over every aspect of our lives; to have access to our full resources as African people; to have independence; to be able to control every move of our lives.

“At the core of the Revolutionary National Democratic Program is Black Power; it’s the need for African self-determination as a nation of African people the world over. We unite with all other programs for self-determination we see throughout the world with other oppressed peoples struggling for their freedom.”

Speaking at the InPDUM Convention, Rosa Clemente expressed her support for the group’s program for national liberation and self-determination for African people. With its endorsement, InPDUM promises to participate in the Clemente/McKinney “Power to the People” campaign through various means, including the distribution of campaign literature by its branches, members and supporters in Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, Washington D.C., Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, Illinois, Minnesota, Texas, and California.

12:13: History shows us that Senator McCain was exonerated of any of that. In fact, do you know what? Obama has one of the truly guilty Keating Five members on his advisory panel. That would be Ohio senator John Glenn. John Glenn was not exonerated in the Keating Five. He was found guilty. McCain was exonerated. John McCain had nothing to do with it.
Next......

12:47 All these throw-backs will be voting for obama.

Besides hiding their racist supporters, Bush/McCain have nothing to hide.

Next...sit on your head and rotate.

Out of some 300 million people - some of the most experienced, most educated, most patriotic people in the entire world - these two are the best we can come up with? We need to be listening to ALL of the candidates for ideas on how we can emerge from the quagmire in which the world now finds itself. And shame on all of the news media and entertainment media for trying to block a full hearing of ALL the candidates. You are worse than non-patriotic. And yes, believe it or not, there are more than two presidential candidates on the ballot.

Franklin Raines, the former top man at Fannie Mae, bought a three-bedroom, seven-bath penthouse condominium in the West End’s Ritz-Carlton Residences for $4.9 million. The condo has a rooftop terrace with a hot tub, a butler’s pantry, and three parking spaces. Raines, director of the US Office of Management and Budget under President Clinton, was CEO of Fannie Mae from 1999 to 2004.

McCain Went Ballistic At the Craps Table in Puerto Rico.

You see, John McCain was the guest speaker at a Magazine Conference in 2005, at a Hotel Casino, where both Michael Kinsley and Jeff Dearth attended. This is a first person accounting...

"McCain stood at the full table, and after being distracted, broke the golden rule of craps, namely failing to raise your hands outside the table when the dice are being thrown... An unnamed woman standing beside him, described as middle aged and small, reached out and tried to pull McCain's arm out of the table..."

“McCain immediately turned to the woman and said between clenched teeth: ‘DON’T TOUCH ME.’ The woman started to explain...McCain interrupted her: ‘DON’T TOUCH ME,’ he repeated viciously. The woman again tried to explain. ‘DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM? DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU’RE TALKING TO?’ McCain continued, his voice rising and his hands now raised in the ‘bring it on’ position. He was red-faced. By this time all the action at the table had stopped. I was completely shocked. McCain had totally lost it, and in the space of about ten seconds. ‘Sir, you must be courteous to the other players at the table,’ the pit boss said to McCain. “DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM? ASK ANYBODY AROUND HERE WHO I AM.”

This being Puerto Rico, the pit boss might not have known McCain. But the senator continued in full fury—“DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU’RE TALKING TO? DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?”—and crisis was avoided only when Jeff Dearth offered to change places and stand between McCain and the woman who had touched his arm.

Republican Sheriff Mike Scott, while on duty and in uniform, tried to attack Sen. Obama by using his middle name.

The McCain campaign has often critized these type of remarks but to Republican law enforcement officers in Florida, I guess it is OK.

What should we expect from these law enforcement officers on election day?

So using his name is "questionable remarks"?

You guys make my head hurt...

Why is that determined to be a “white businessman”? Why isn’t it a white politician, white garbage man on the way to his sister’s wedding, white businesswoman with manly hands, or a darker-toned male or female of either of the aforementioned… with vitiligo?

As a white businessman, I’m offended to be characterized in this fashion.

Sincerely,

Inmate 78379 – Cell-C

McCain Gets a 'D' from Vets Group
October 07, 2008
Military.com|by Bryant Jordan

Sen. John McCain may be the combat veteran and son and grandson of admirals, but he rates only a D when it comes to supporting veterans issues, according to the "Congressional Report Card" just issued by the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America.

Sen. Barack Obama is no veteran, but his votes in the U.S, Senate over the past year earned him a B, says IAVA executive director Paul Rieckhoff .

Call Sheriff Scott at 239-477-1000 and tell him how you feel.

A spokespeople for McCain and Palin quickly distanced their camps from Scott’s use of the name.

This sheriff should be removed from office. He incites hate among the public and is a clear bigot. The publoic should demand is removal as sheriff.

Take a moment to read history while gulping down that Obam-aide. From NY Times Michael Kelley 02/93

In selling his economic plan, President Clinton is gambling that voters never took seriously his campaign promise to lower the tax burden of the middle class and will respond favorably to an aggressive pitch based on equal measures of hope, fear and class revenge.

After months of polling and research, Mr. Clinton's top political advisers say they are convinced that middle-class voters will support higher taxes. The advisers say the voters will see the new taxes as the price of great improvements in Government service and as inflicting a just punishment on the rich who profited during the Reagan and Bush Administrations.

There is a lot of evidence in recent polls to support these hopes, but they rest on a risky political premise: the assumption that middle-class voters will forgive Mr. Clinton his broken promise of tax relief or will accept the contention that he did not unconditionally promise such relief.

"Voters never believed in the middle-class tax cut, because they have never seen anyone get a tax cut," said Mr. Clinton's chief poll taker, Stanley Greenberg. "They always believed their taxes would go up whether Bill Clinton became President or George Bush was President.

01:18 , you are so right. These guys don't have a clue what life is like for the rest of us. Obama or McCain - neither one. No matter what they do, what bills they vote on, they'll still be riding in limousines while the rest of us are getting kicked out of our homes.

1:55 I saw that on TV last night, LittleBro. McCain is Faux everything. It's been an entire year now and his campaign is just blowing in the wind. We need a steady hand on the tiller, allright, and Barack's my man.

"They voted for Bill Clinton because they believed he was going to submit a program to change the direction of the country, to improve the economy and to create jobs. They will be mad as hell if their taxes go up and there's no genuine commitment to change. But if there is, they will be willing to contribute."

"It is critical," Mr. Greenberg said, that the rich be seen as punished most by Mr. Clinton's tax increases. 'A Very Big Signal'

As candidate, Mr. Clinton promised to offer tax relief to families with incomes of less than $80,000 a year. He said he would raise taxes on only "the wealthiest 2 percent," those with incomes above $200,000 a year, and impose a surtax of 10 percent on those with annual incomes of more than $1 million.

If the you owe the bank money for the house you live in; it's their home, not yours.

Kinda basic but i thought I would throw that in.

2:20 So Senator McCain, exactly how many limousines do YOU own?

Err... A few. Less than a dozen, I think. I'll check with Cindy; she picks out the Limos. Let me get back to you on that.

If Republican Sheriff Scott is so concerned about middle names why didn't he say "Sarah Louise Heath Palin"?

2:27 ask the 99.99999% of blacks voting for Obama about what it means to be racists.

McCain IS shady. I heard he's going to hire Eminem to paint the White House whatever color Bush tells him to.

OK let me see if I have this straight:

Omaba is accusing McCain of being shady?

hahahahahohohohohohehehehehehahahahahahohohohohohehehehehe.....

Holy Shizit, that is a good one!!!!!

2:29 ask the Republicans voting for McCain why 99.99999% of the comments they post here are racist, and you'll have your answer.

Its kinda like the pot calling the kettle black.....

If you know what I mean

Bill Ayres, Rev Jerry and the others that surround the ONE are the racists.

2:34 Your strategy isn't working. Here's a few suggestions: Get a workable economic policy. that would put McCain on a level with Obama. Then stop the negative ads - the polls can tell you that isn't working. Finally, cheat, that's your only hope to continue the Great Republican War on America.

In my never humble opinion, what McCain is really hiding is his and the Republican Party's contempt for the middle class and small businesses. They view the middle class as an impediment to the global competitiveness of American corporations. Further, they feel the middle class acts like an upside down umbrella catching too much of the trickle down.

As for small businesses? Small businesses create way too many jobs and that, in the Republican view, just drives up wages and hurts corporate bottom lines. Think like a CEO for a moment. Your focus is to fatten the bottom line. What is the biggest item in the budget? Wages! How do you reduce them? Simple supply and demand - reduce the number of jobs and increase the number of available workers.

Check out the only remaining states where McCain is doing well.

Problem Solved!

If Obaba wins, no big deal. I will hold firm for 4-8 years until we elect a pro-business leader. Then I'll jump back in. We did it before and we will do it again. I still make money, just less.

And believe me, with 7 million words in the tax code; my accountant is very good at keeping my "patriotism" to a minimum.

What are your plans for the depression?

hey 2:48 are you a small business owner like me?

I have 3 store fronts with 22 employees.

We are planning layoffs right now. At the end of the day, I will make the same money with 25% reduction in labor.

All I can hope for is that the Dems do not extend unemployment benefits.

1:02
Regardinmg your comments that John Glenn was found guilty of wrongdoing inthe Keating 5 Scandal I would like to clear up that while McCain was not found guilty of wrongdoing, neither was John Glenn. In fact, Alan Cranston was the only one who was reprimanded. JUST THE FACTS!!!!
From Time magazine coverage of the KEATING FIVE events.....
Following the deregulation of savings and loan associations (S&Ls) in the early 1980's, several of these banks began taking greater liberties with depositors' money, sinking it into risky real estate ventures and junk bonds in an effort to reap maximum profits. Fearful about the future of the vast amounts of federally-insured money being invested, the Federal Home Loan Bank Board (FHLBB) instituted a cap on the amount of money S&L's were allowed to place in such volatile instruments. An investigation into Lincoln Savings and Loan uncovered flagrant violations of these regulations, exceeding the limit by over $615 million.

But before any measures could be taken against the company, five Senators came calling at the FHLBB, requesting that the charges against Lincoln not be pursued, on the basis that the S&L was a major employer in their states. These Senators — McCain , John Glenn (D-OH), Alan Cranston (D-CA), Donald Riegle (D-MI) and Dennis DeConcini (D-AZ) — had little in common. Most of them came from different states and different parts of the political spectrum. One of the only elements that linked the men together was Charles Keating. The banker had been a major contributor to each of their campaigns, donating close to $1.4 million dollars total. Keating also considered John McCain to be a close personal friend, with whom he'd shared vacations and business ventures.

Their pleas bought Lincoln more time, but the company was ultimately seized by the FHLBB two years later. Its bailout cost taxpayers over $3 billion; thousands of Lincoln investors lost their life savings.

The magnitude of Lincoln's collapse and the fraud charges later brought against Keating led the Senate Ethics Committee to launch an investigation into the conduct of the five Senators — now known as the Keating Five — who were thought to have improperly intervened with regulators to protect a campaign contributor. The investigation began in November of 1989 and lasted nearly two years. All five Senators denied improper conduct, claiming that it was Keating's status as a constituent rather than as a donor that motivated their actions; although when Keating was asked whether his financial support had influenced the Senators on his behalf, he responded "I want to say in the most forceful way I can: I hope so."

Keating himself was convicted on 73 counts of fraud in 1993 and served 4 years in prison. Though the Keating Five emerged from the scandal legally unscathed — only Cranston received a formal reprimand — the political consequences have had more lasting effects. Cranston left office, while both Riegle and DeConcini opted out of running for re-election. McCain, for his part, has referred to his involvement in the affair as "the worst mistake of my life."

2:54 Yes my wife and I do and we will be "taking some cash off the table" as well.

To all those looking for a handout from the liberals; let me make a suggestion:

Start your own business and hire others as soon as you can. That way, the first layoff will not be yours.

And if you work hard enough, you will be able to be "patriotic" like me.

3:00 - The only 'handout' I've heard mentioned is McCain's $300 billion mortgage buy back folly.

I wish both parties would stick to the issues, quit the mud slinging it gets you no where. all we want to hear is how are both parties going to fix the problems that we are faced with. i wouldn't bail out any body with tax payers money. the banks that made these over inflated loans redo these loans at fixed rate at current market values after all these banks, realators, appraisers made there money at inflated prices now make them pay for over charging people for there homes, they made the mistakes let them suffer or go under for it. that's the trouble with america the answer is bail every body out right or wrong agi is one example go on vacation to the tune of1/2 million bucks and has the nerve to ask for an additional 38 billion more, give me a break, when the ceo of aig gets 1/2 billion since 2001 that is scaming the corpration , no wonder the public distrusts the gov..

3:04 what about the $4 TRILLION in wealth transfers since LJB?

Lets be fair now.

And don't try and corner me.

McCain is surely liberal, but he is not a Communist like your boy.

Jim, I agree, let the chips fall where they may.

"don't try to corner me"

"3:00 - The only 'handout' I've heard mentioned is McCain's $300 billion mortgage buy back folly."

Obama's plan for a "tax cut for 95% of working families" is a handout for 50% of those 95%, since those 50% pay no federal income tax.

I had to come back and read this one again:

Obama is trying to make McCain look shady........

That is a good one! Obama saying McCain is shady.....McCain shady....

lmaortfl

3:08 - you start by saying 'let's be fair' then you throw out a slanderous crack. Fair indeed.

McCain is no liberal. He is a ne'er do well son willing to sell his soul to prove himself worthy at last to his father and grandfather. Sad really, I voted for John in 2000 but this is not the same man by any measure.
