...and the Times will find a Florida solidly for McCain/Palin whereupon they will promptly report on something else.

The first sentence of what Ms. Liberto wrote would be more accurate if "says the economy" were deleted.

the myth of the liberal media
Posted by: | October 04, 2008 at 11:35 AM
It's no myth...
most in the media are liberal; just as many other individuals (most bankers, doctors, etc.) happen to be conservative.
The doctor who puts a candidate's sign in his office window is no less guilty than the media of trying to use their position of trust to influence people.
It's unrealistic to think a human being can check their biases at home when they walk out the door to go to work.
Trouble with the media arises when conservatives let the media's liberalness bother them and then whine about it...

McCain is dragging down the Palin/McCain ticket.
The wingers would rather toss McCain than Palin, apparently.

I am a democrat and I am voting for McCain. I can't see myself voting for the most inexperienced president our nation has ever seen. He was in the US Senate for 140 days before he announced he was running for president. I just can't vote for him knowing that experience does matter and I blame the media for not continuing to drive that point home. If change is so important that lets vote out Brown-Waite, Pelosi, Wasserman Schultz, Klien, Ros Leitin, Diaz-Barlart x2, Reid, Frank...if change is so important, lets get ride of all of them.

I don't know why the media has downplayed the experience issue. Maybe there is a liberal bias.

America is sooooooo much better than it was 8 years ago.
I need to get me another 4 years of these Republican policies...

i am 19 years old and i am voting for Obama. i do not want to be drafted in mccains next war. my grandfather fought in vietmam and he said he would not vote for anther war monger. he going to vote for Obama to.

In case you brain dead idiots who do not want to be in the military, did not KNOW, there is no "draft"...It is a volunteer army...The only draft I suspect that you are suffering from is the draft thru your ears, where in other people a BRAIN exists !!!!!....
BTW, it was the Democrats who have gotten us into this mess, with the subprime loan mess...For those of you who know, pardon my repeating what you already know...but for the few who do not know, it was CONGRESS - the DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS - who has been in control of this country for the past 2-4 years who ALLOWED these sub prime loans....It was "the evil Republicans" who tried to vote out subprime loans, but the Democratic majority in Congress would not allow this to come onto "the floor" for a vote ....So we the people, thanks to the Democrats, are on the hook for these bad loans....Unless you want more of the same, vote Republican....Am I a McCain fan? NO, absolutely not - but I cannot afford the Democrats any longer....

Someone needs to tell Mr. Hart that antibiotics are free at Publix stores statewide and only $4 at Walmart......
Posted by: | October 04, 2008 at 03:44 PM
Palin is a bird brain.

Tammy, McCain want's the draft reenacted: Las Cruces NM Aug. 20, 2008 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRMFwXGBMfI . He has NOT ruled it out. The Democrats only regained control of congress in 2006. They do NOT have a veto proof senate or even filibuster proof. The subprime mortgage problem was already well on it's way under Republican rule. If They care so much why did they do NOTHING when they controlled the house, senate and presidency??????
