Palin tickets going fast
CLEARWATER -- Tickets are going fast for Sarah Palin's speech at a rally Monday morning at Coachman Park in Clearwater.
"People keep coming in one after another," said Tony DiMatteo, chairman of the Pinellas County Republican Executive Committee. "We'll probably sell out of them, and we were given 9,000 tickets."
He thinks the GOP's offices in St. Petersburg and Safety Harbor will run out of the free tickets by the end of today. The offices are open until 6 p.m.
If there any tickets left, DiMatteo said they'll be given out tomorrow morning at the Pinellas GOP headquarters, 4707 140th Ave. N, Suite 108, in the Airport Business Center near the St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport. The office's phone number is (727) 539-6009.
Some tickets are also available at GOP offices in neighboring counties.

Here's the advanced copy of her speech:
Drill, Wasilla, O'Biden, *read notecard*, DC outsider, maverick, husband Todd, "Up there in Alaska" in annoying 'Fargo' voice.
There ya go...save your money.

Palin's folksy-wolksy yappy-wappy makes me an itsy-bitsy barfy-warfy -- [wink].

You guys are so in the tank for Palin/McCain.

Bush is the greatest President that has ever stepped into the Oval Office.
1.)Our economy is stronger than ever in the past eight years.
2.) Our budget is balanced
3.) The world has our respect
4.) Only 5000 of our troops are dead. Only 20,000 severely wounded. Only 100,000 Iraqi civilians dead. Pretty good numbers in my book.
5.) Gas is cheap.
6.) Home ownership is great
What more do you want? Change? I say four more years!!
McCain/Palin!!

john,
There is usually a finite amount of space in any location. Don't make yourself sound stupid for the sake of a sad attempt at humor, it only ends up making you sound stupid.

McCain/Palin will be great for this country. We will continue with the same Bush policies that makes this country great.
Posted by: Fred | October 03, 2008 at 03:02 PM
Palin will give inspiration to millions when she becomes VP. Millions of average hockey moms and Joe Six Packs will be inspired to run for office. If an average person with minimal intelligence like Sarah Palin can make it this far, guys like my plumber will have aspirations of the Oval Office.
We love you Sarah!

McCain and Phil Gramm are right. America is a nation of whiners. So what if you lost your entire savings in this crisis. Seniors need to get off their butts and get back to work. McCain is 72 years old. You don't see him sitting around playing gin rummy and shuffle board.
McCain/Palin 08'
"It's What's Best for Corporate America!"
Go Sarah!

Bill, you are so right. Sarah Palin is an inspiration for all of us soccer moms. I have been on the PTA myself also. I've been in the sixth year of finishing my degree at HCC. So there are a lot similarities that we share.
Sarah is showing me that you don't need to be intelligent to become the second most powerful person on earth. I am now considering a new career path so that someday I can reach the White House also.
Sarah, you go girl!!

3:05 Sonny boy, I just want to tell you how much I liked your comment. I'm about the same age as John McCain, and I was thinking it was high time to retire from my part time job at McDonalds. But since I read your post, I decided that I'm gonna go hunt me down one a them beer heiresses and then run for the President of these here New Nited States.

George, I'm glad there are more folks like you. We don't need seniors feeding off the system. Those Dumocrats just want to give seniors a free ride. Just because you've worked all your life doesn't mean you can quit now and let Uncle Sam take care of you. Stop being a nation of whiners and go mop a floor to put food on the table. If you can't eat because you have to pay for medication instead, then eat every other day. Republicans won't put up with you asking for a handout.

Palin tickets going fast huh? Just proves that in hard times, people turn to comic relief to forget their troubles!!
Posted by: | October 03, 2008 at 03:47 PM
3:47, you know what is comical? It's your candidate calling for change when everything is going well in the US. The economy is strong. We don't need to assist the middle class. They are shrinking anyhow, so what's the point? In McCain's plan, there won't be much of middle class left to bother us.

Democrat and Republican candidates and party leadership - cowards all.
Posted by: Buzzard | October 03, 2008 at 03:54 PM
McCain is NO George Bush. McCain wouldn't torture prisoners. McCain believes in the Geneva convention. McCain CAN work accross the aisle.
Obama - he's nothing at all.
Posted by: | October 03, 2008 at 04:23 PM
They're fillinp up fast in Jacksonville too - and at $500. a pop.
Posted by: | October 03, 2008 at 04:24 PM
Sarah is awesome because she's a sweetheart and tough as nails.
We're tired of the NOW only supporting liberal women.
Sarah is the NEW feminist - "anything you can do, I can do better."
Too bad Obama pays his staff women far less than the men.
I'm PROUD that Governor Palin is coming to our GREAT state and Clearwater.
McCain Palin are US, baby!
Posted by: McCain Palin are US, baby! | October 03, 2008 at 04:56 PM
4:23, How can you say that McCain isn't like Bush? They have virtually identical voting records and identical values. This is why I am voting for McCain. It gives us four more years of Bush's policies!!
McCain for POTUS!!

Go to Mons. It is a cheaper thrill than that worn out pie hole with a baby maker the size of the Grand Canyon.

4:56 Too bad you are inbread!

Inbread? Stupid insult at least spell it right.

Another prize post that will go down with all the deep thinkers of the world.
Buzzard's cynicism is probably more on target than the rest of us.

i took 6 but won't go
Posted by: | October 04, 2008 at 07:27 AM
To all the Zerobamabots out there who claim McCain is just like Bush b/c he voted with the president about 91% of the time, keep in mind that Obama voted with the President 85% of the time.
There are so many almost meaningless votes daily that the MOST LIBERAL members in the congress typically vote with the president about 83% of the time. (5 out of 6)
The scale is about 100% (Bushbot) to 83% (Socialistbot)
McCain at 91% means he is in the middle.

I tell you how the GOP can sell out of "free" tickets...... the same way these yahoos sold out the American people. And, they'll laugh all the way to the bankrupt bank.
I wouldn't walk across the street to see Pathetic Palin. She's a disgrace to my gender and a "Maverick" at doing so.

SARAH PALIN ROCKED AT THE DEBATE THURSDAY. SHE CRUSHED JOE BIDEN.
"SAY IT AIN'T SO JOE"
Posted by: | October 04, 2008 at 12:43 PM
Sarah Barracuda rocks!!!! She is the ANTI-Obama!!!! The Republicans will show the libs what a good old fashioned WOOPIN is all about on Nov. 4th! McCain maybe an old soldier but he's got a lot of fight left in him and Balack HUSSEIN Obama will join Kennedy and Hilter in the BIG LOSERS of HISTORY!!!!! Balack HUSSEIN Obama is the most dangerous threat that America has ever seen! Every time I see his Nazi followers screaching slogans while he beats his arms on his chest and shouts grunts hate and lies it makes me what to spit. McCain will WIN BIG!!! FLORIDA is going RED again this year and you can count on it! We KNOW how to WIN over traitors and lib scum!
Posted by: Doreen | October 04, 2008 at 01:01 PM
I hate libs and truly wish we could eliminate their rotting corpses from America! That's probably why they want to ban firearms! Hahahahaha!!!! Sarah Palin is the best thing to happen to America in a long time! She is the female version of Ronald Reagan and that is why the libs hate her so much because they are scared to death! She will bring an end to the murder of unborn children by the libs who would rather let Obamanation and Biden dismember unborn infants while in their mother's womb and suck their bloody body parts up and flush them into the toilet! McCain and Palin will bring an end to the libs death squads and instead of exterminating children we should exterminate libs! I hate them and can't wait for the day with Jesus comes again and crushes them!

Drill, baby, drill!
I loved that part of the debate where she corrected old Joe about the chant! The look on his face was so funny!
DRILL BABY DRILL! DRILL BABY DRILL! DRILL BABY DRILL!
Wish I could afford to go to the rally in Clearwater, but I'll be listening for the chant! Don't disappoint me!
DRILL BABY DRILL! Sarah you are a blessing from God!
Posted by: | October 04, 2008 at 01:29 PM
That's so true! My 6 yr old love that chant! He runs around the house saying "Drill, baby Drill!" It's hilarious and the neighbors are all Republicans here so they are teasing me and my wife about it! One more vote for Palin in a few years when he grows up. When the kids are chanting "Drill baby, Drill!" you know you are right! LOL

Barack Obama & Nancy Pelosi really deep down would love to see $10/gal gasoline.
How un-American is that.

Do you cross a line into child abuse when you parade a Down syndrome infant in a brightly lit, noisy, flurried event after bedtime?
Posted by: | October 04, 2008 at 07:52 PM
The cute baby looked fine to me. He seemed to enjoy it.
Good try liberals.
Posted by: | October 04, 2008 at 07:55 PM
Enjoyed? The child was unresponsive.

Posted by: | October 04, 2008 at 08:14 PM

Posted by: | October 04, 2008 at 10:38 PM
what did Katie Couric have to gain by those gotcha questions?
Posted by: | October 04, 2008 at 10:38 PM
8:09, totally agree. That poor child always looks unresponsive. If awake.
Oh, 10:38, dontcha know she was trying to annoy poor Sarah with those confusing questions? I mean, man, can't she just let her ramble on and talk about what she wants to, yah know? Talk straight to the American people, darn it! Why do those reporters have to ask those doggone questions!
Posted by: | October 05, 2008 at 12:02 AM
I predict 40,000 people will attend.
Posted by: | October 05, 2008 at 07:30 PM
