Half-million dollar races
Republican Peter Boulware will easily raise more than half a million in the race to grab a strongly Democratic seat. He's reporting $485,641 through Oct. 30, but that doesn't include money raised through the Republican Party or a third party group (All Children Matter-Florida), which did a mailer attacking his Democratic opponent Michelle Vasilinda. Vasilinda reported $162,000 through Oct. 10.
Republican Sen. Jeff Atwater was, by far, the biggest fundraiser among Senate races. With $2.4 million in direct contributions, he's not even in the same stratosphere as Democratic challenger Linda Bird who raised $42,784 through Oct. 10. Atwater's political committee Preserve the American Dream raised another $893,000 through the end of October.
House Majority Leader Adam Hasner raised an overwhelming $995,003 through Oct. 30, even though his seat isn't considered competitive. His opponent Democrat Rob Ostrov has raised less than $50,000.
If only money won elections, Republican Thad Altman, a state representative, would be annihilating Democrat Kendall Moore. Altman raised $535,372 in direct contributions through Oct. 30. Moore, who hadn't updated his fundraising by 6 p.m., was still at $87,306 through Oct. 10. But Buzz hears that this race to replace Bill Posey in District 24 is, by far, the most competitive in the Senate, and far too close to call.
In District 23, another competitive Senate seat, Republican Nancy Detert has raised $374,455 and Democrat Morgan Bentley has raised $144,212.
In District 91, Rep. Ellyn Bogdanoff, who is favored to keep her seat, has raised $424,759, and her challenger Chris Chiari has raised $62,000.

Michelle for State House.
You don't want a bought representative?
Then vote for Michelle.

this race would not even be close if Fred Varn were in the race. Besides, Michelle has been measuring the drapes!

I would like thank Michelle Vasalinda. I live in a moderate to conservative neighborhood in District 9. I thank her for running against the Obama of Tallahassee. So this republican is voting for Obama and Bouleware and then a straight repubican ticket.

Campaign donations are investments. Future pay off is expected. What is the pay off and who are the investors?

Michelle RV is fake and here's why:
#1 - Michelle is only qualified to be a professional character assasinator. I saw the funniest darn tv ad that cut that cut that character assastinator to pieces. Loved it!
#2 - Michelle is owned by the Democratic Party, and only willing to represent 51% of the district.
#3 - The DP and Michelle have been dropping negative bombs on PB since more than 2 weeks ago, because he's the better candidate and they hate it.
#4 - Michelle is only running because this is her husband's dream.
#5 - Michelle's husband has slimed several female friends of mine.
#6 - Michelle does not have a last name, just a bunch of figments of her imagination. Who is she anyway?
#7 - On Preston Scott, she talked about wanting to repeal the intangibles tax. It was already repealed last Session.
#8 - In the Tally Democrat, she talked about eliminating a fuel tax for Tallahassee Airport. Problem is that tax is what every air carrier pays for infrastructure improvements to airports. So does she actually think that Orlando, Miami and other airports will be willing to pay for Tallahassee's infrastructure needs, while little old Tallahassee gets exempted?
#9 - Michelle's performance in the debate on Preston Scott is proof that she could never handle herself credibly in a committee meeting. But please, reelect Susan Bucher if you all insist.
#10 - Michelle likes to quote a lot of education statistics, but she also likes to forget that there was a day and time when Florida had a higher graduation rate because Florida was letting illiterate children graduate from high school. True stress in life is graduating from high school, not being able to get into college, and not being able to get a job. If that's the Florida you want, then vote for the crazy lady!
