Send Sarah to China!
On a conference call to extol Sen. John McCain's plan to direct the government to spend $300-billion buying and refinancing shaky mortgages to help people stay in their homes, Sen. Mel Martinez, R-Fla., and a fellow former Housing secretary, Jack Kemp, found themselves on the spot over this hot-button campaign issue:
Why won't Gov. Sarah Palin go to China?
As appealing as that may be to some of her Republican critics, the reporter meant it a good thing.
Buzz couldn't catch his affiliation, other than the word "world," but he clearly thought McCains' running mate was missing a golden opportunity by turning down an invitation to speak at a Beijing univeristy on Monday, the day before the election.
He argued that doing so would fill any gaps in her foreign affairs resume and guarantee victory for the McCain-Palin ticket. "She could get elected!" he shouted.
Martinez told the operator he wasn't a journalist.
"I am, too! For 50 years!"
Martinez explained she would be busy "campaigning in the United States."
"It would show she has international credentials!" the man insisted.
Martinez called fror the next caller, and the line went quiet.
"Mel, can't you keep your friends off?" Kemp joked.
Martinez feigned bafflement. "I don't know why she's not going to China."
"Think how many votes there are in China," Kemp said.

Tis is the biggest crock! Why would ANYONE running for office leave the jurisdiction the day fore the election?
I am going to LMAO when McCain/Palin win

McCain has this in the bag. I've seen some internal poll numbers and let me tell you - what they are showing on TV is not anywhere near the truth.

We'd send David Storck, but he'd be griping about all the Chinamen.

Palin said today her first amendment right to free speech is being infringed upon because of media criticism. She thinks people shouldnt have the right to speak out about her slimey attacks against Obama. Admit it she is a total embarrassment to our nation. The fact she has no depth of understanding of our constitution, our history or our government is a disgrace. The fact she was elected mayor is amazing. I wouldnt send her anywhere except back to Alaska, if they still want her.

@ Young American (5:58): That'd be hot, but you're probably right.

Palin represents everything that Americans have despised in George W. Bush. An anti-intellectual, intolerant, shoot first, theocratic politician. Her rise to power is eerily similar to W. Bush without the silver spoon.
It will be a great day in America when she goes back to the Alaskan Governor's mansion.

5:30 pm is correct.
Internal polls indicate that unless Obama volunteers work hard on election, McCain will win.

There are 645,000 more registered democrats in florida now than republicans. I think Obama should feel pretty good about florida. Especially if there is an 80% turnout as predicted.

"Send her to China", well some good things will come out of this. When she speaks and make outlandish comments they will not be understood. Her impromptu speaking ability will surely scare off the undecideds. Her passport will be stamped officially, with another country for once. Hopefully, she can learn a few things about being a lady instead of trying to be a bully. Most importantly, she can take Karl Rove with her and the Chinese hold him as political dissident, FOREVER!

Just think everyone...when McCain is using a walker and senile next year...guess who is going to be running this country? Palin! Now that is scary!
