Andy Palmer is new House campaign boss
Andy Palmer has been selected by Rep. Dean Cannon as the new director of House campaigns for the Republican Party of Florida. He replaces Chip Case, who will move into general campaign consulting and lobbying.
"An experienced manager who understands Florida politics, Andy has the integrity, professionalism and skill to successfully manage our 2010 re-election campaign efforts," said Cannon, who will assume responsibility for House campaigns in January 2009 and who is next in line to be speaker of the chamber.
Palmer is a former executive director of the Republican Party of Florida. In 2004, he served as the 72-hour director for the Republican National Committee, overseeing the get-out-the-vote effort. Most recently, he served as a senior consultant to Congressman-elect Tom Rooney and helped him win a hotly contested primary election and go on to unseat incumbent Democrat Congressman Tim Mahoney, who was embroiled in a sex scandal. Andy also has extensive experience working on House campaigns in Florida.

Good pick Dean and way to go AP.

Bravo, Cannon. Good, solid pick. I've worked with Andy in the past. Andy is a great guy and good worker.
While you're at it, why not get rid of Sansom, Greer, and the rest of their ilk that pollutes our party.

Ok, so we have a number 1. Who will be number 2?

Andy is a great pick - as long as he is smart enough to keep Frank around. And Chip did as good of a job as could be done in the climate he got stuck with - thanks Chip for all your hard work.

Thanks Chip for leaving the House in a good position after a disastrous statewide loss at the Pres. level. Andy, you've got your work cut out boy, but the future looks bright for you!

Yes Chip, thanks for telling us House campaigns were out of money that last week. Now we know why.

Don't know how successful Frank will be without Chip there to help him clear out primaries for his clients by getting leadership to endorse Frank's clients and force out candidates.
Who is Chip working with now?
