WWJD?
What will Jeff Do?

All this says to me is that Sink is going to to run for governor in 2014, and nobody is going to be able to stop her.
Posted by: | December 01, 2008 at 09:32 PM
Sink's an idiot.
Posted by: | December 01, 2008 at 10:10 PM
Big shock. Alex Skink is mediocre. she has failed as CFO
Posted by: | December 01, 2008 at 10:36 PM
Is she running for Mayor of Carnie town?
Posted by: | December 01, 2008 at 10:37 PM
The State of Florida's pension fund has lost almost $70 billion.
Sink campaigned as being the state's fiscal watchdog.
Where is our short-term SBA fund?
Sink campaigned as being the state's fiscal watchdog.
Sink has some answering to do.

How typical of Alex Sink. No risk. So no reward. I am glad she is not running. It clears the field for true contenders who will fight for it.
Posted by: | December 01, 2008 at 10:52 PM
Sink is still trying to get a handle on the mess Jeb! made of our state.
I'm disappointed she's not running for the Senate, but I'm sure we can find a good candidate to run against Martinez. Even the Republicans don't like him.

Oh sure Susan lets just blame Jeb for everything. he was a popular governor who was at the helm when the state hit its highest prosperity ever. Sink is the problem not the solution. She ran as a non partisan figure only to show she is just a partisan hack.

Maybe Bill Nelson can run against Martinez? That way, Bill, can unseat Martinez and extend his grip another few years. Next maybe someone like Scott Maddox, Bret Berlin, or Dan Gelber will run for Governor and appoint Dave Aronberg to Bill's vacant seat.
Posted by: Hutch | December 01, 2008 at 11:12 PM
The race for the Senate is now wide open. I expect Gelber to get in. Boyd is most likely in. Klein might get in. Aronberg will most likely run for Attorney General but who knows.
Who will run for Governor?
Posted by: | December 01, 2008 at 11:43 PM
anyone here Kendrick Meek might run for Senate with Fredericka Wilson running for his seat in Congress?
Posted by: | December 01, 2008 at 11:47 PM
Egad...I hope not.

Janegale Boyd for Senate in 2010?
Posted by: | December 01, 2008 at 11:55 PM
There are still billions in state funds to be lost so Mrs. McBride ain't going nowhere until she has finshed the job she started. Some big shot banker she has turned out to be. Don't think she made it to the top filling the skirt quota do you?
Posted by: | December 02, 2008 at 12:07 AM
I heard Martinez is going to resign and Crist is going to pick Rachel Burgin to finish the term and position her perfectly to run and keep the senate seat in 2010.
Posted by: little birdie | December 02, 2008 at 12:17 AM
Gelber will definitely run. He has nothing to lose because he doesn't have to resign to run. At best, he becomes a US Senator. At worst, he keeps his state senate seat, boosts his name id, and positions himself for another statewide run.
I would not vote for him, but the timing could not be better for him to run.

She needs to DO something as CFO. She has been given a great opportunity to build a name for herself and she's done very little with it.

My home is now hurricane safe thanks to Alex Sink and the My Safe Florida Home grant I received. I know Tom Gallagher was responsible for the program, but he only gave grants to rich people. Alex extended the program and made sure the fat cats paid for their own inprovements.
Thanks, Alex Sink!

Adam...
Jump on the story about the private buyer for the US Sugar land...
Someone is trying to muck up the purchase...
Quite frankly, I say actually enforce and put some more regulations on US Sugar so the land is worthless and lets save some money...

Alex Sink is James Carville's seperated-at-birth twin and she is the second best CFO ever in the history of Florda!!!!

I never really believed in the inflated number of new children born with developmental disabilities, but then I read the post by Hutch.
Scott Maddox, Brett Berlin, Dan Gelber? What?
Gelber, get your kids off the computer and maybe go throw a ball with them or something.
The only person with a relatively decent shot to take down Mel is Rod Smith.

Todd Maurer for US Senate 2010.

Alex is one ugly dude.
Posted by: | December 02, 2008 at 04:15 PM
Alex Sink is an unknown & would lose big.
Jeb Bush is going to be our next U.S. Senator!
Posted by: | December 02, 2008 at 04:24 PM
Alex Sink has been a total dud as Florida's CFO. She has mismanaged our finances & let a criminal embezzled millions from state coffers. All the money has still not been found, even though the suspect was caught at the airport on his way out of the country.
Alex Sink's political career is over.
