Report: Crist is Gov. Jet Setter
From the Sun Sentinel: As Floridians struggle with job reductions, home foreclosures and dwindling bank accounts, Crist has enjoyed a jet-setting lifestyle, mixing with celebrities, attending charity balls, staying at grand hotels and relaxing in his new wife's $4 million condo on Miami's Fisher Island.
But a Sun Sentinel review of the governor's detailed schedules for the past two years found he had no events or appointments on 62 weekdays -- the equivalent of three months. On another 74 weekdays -- or nearly four months -- his schedule shows him working only part of the day.

How shocking.

And I have to bring work home and work weekends for no compensation (no flex time, comp. time, or overtime). AND the Legislature is considering imposing an income tax on my earnings.

State employee
Time to find another job I would think.

Dear Mr. Speaker:
Please REMOVE the spouse’s program from the budget. In these tough economic times the taxpayers of Florida should not be asked to foot the bill for this type of useless program. There are plenty of babysitting establishments in Tallahassee in which a member could use during their BRIEF stay in Leon County. Stimulate the local economy and turn the lights off of this legislative perk. Speaking of perks, start making these part time employees pay for their health insurance.

The citizens of Florida who
voted for Charlie got exactly
what they deserve.
He is a career politico who owes his success to his wealthy republican supporters.
If the voters send him to Washington,(Senate) it will be a big mistake.
He will smile, say a lot of "God bless them" and the
little old ladies will vote for him.
Remember: " Fool us once
shame on you. Fool us twice shame on us"
DON'T BE FOOLED AGAIN

Let the beatings begin! Charlie is toast!

LOL, Gov Crist has higher approval ratings than Pres Obama. The Sun Sentinal trying to trash him will not work.

Although elected Governor, Charlie has never stopped trying to further his political ambitions.
He is to busy to take care of office of Governor.
Th Republicans love having a Governor that they can lead around by the nose.
If he goes to Washington (Senate), the wealthy Republicans will be dancing in the streets. (If they are not born again like "W" and not permitted to dance).

The Emperor has NO clothes on???!!
WOW!! What a revelation:
Charlie Crist is a stuffed shirt who
doesn't do anthing; is only interested in pushing his own career; couldln't care less about Florida; couldn't care less about the Republican Party except insofar as its donors have funded his lavish lifestyle.

You forgot to put the political disclaimer at the bottom of the story.

7:27 - you're right! With 18 years experience, I typically win over 85% of my cases. When I leave, my senior attorney position will be "downgraded" to a "staff attorney." You'll then have a brand new attorney prosecuting. Won't that be special - and doesn't that make you feel sooooo much safer. Enjoy, I'm sure you must have the expertise to protect you and your family from the professionals I go after.

Tell me state employee,is falsely portraying an attorney against the law?
Is falsely portraying a prosecutor at the state attorney's office against the law also?
You are in the same boat as any teacher about working at home after hours but let me ask,why do it? Why not say you won't work at home?
Why not stand up for your rights to not have to work without pay? Its within your rights ya know.Of course they are within their rights to fire you too,is that why you won't stand up for your rights? Maybe you fell an obligation to work because you are perhaps a little slow at what you do and need extra time!
maybe you feel obligated because you are a dedicated employee, well I don't think so,you wouldn't be complaining about the inner workings of your employer.
Perhaps you have trouble getting along with others and want to openly complain to the public,,,well this isn't really open is it.Perhaps you are not really an attorney but a wanna be.
Either way if you are so unhappy with the way things are complain to your boss, face to face and quit whining,at least you are working.
Are you one the whiners that Phil Grahmm told us about? Its all in your head ya know!

State Employee
Sheesh, just pointing out the obvious.
Stay then.
I find it hard to believe a state attorney's office would have to hire someone off the street to take your place. Doesn't say much for your co-workers.
And what 40+ year old says 'Isn't that special'?
