Will Charlie Crist be the new Arlen Specter?
The GOP may be losing one moderate male in the U.S. Senate with Arlen Specter switching parties, but Charlie Crist is poised to join that nearly extinct breed in Washington.
RNC Chairman Michael Steele: “Some in the Republican Party are happy about this. I am not. Let’s be honest -- Sen. Specter didn’t leave the GOP based on principles of any kind. He left to further his personal political interests because he knew that he was going to lose a Republican primary due to his left-wing voting record."

Crist is going to switch now.

"Charlie Crist is poised to join that nearly extinct breed in Washington"
- you mean Republicans, right?
"He left to further his personal political interests"
- voting the will of the people rather than along party lines will do that for you. Thanks and good luck!

Charlie is so self promoting that he will go where the money goes.
He is clueless and could not exist without the big Republican bucks
and, those who tell him what to
do.
Wake up Florida and demand a IQ
test.

Reason #4532 that Charlie won't run for U.S. Senate.

Michael Steele is an idiot and will bring about the total destruction of the Republican Party… exactly as we planned it.

Another reason why Gov Crist will run for re-election rather than the U.S. Senate

The G.O.P. continues its unrelenting march toward irrelevance, cementing its reputation as the party of mega-government white evangelicals.

The national GOp is irrelevant ..Only in Florida and its legislature are they running amock..Not fer long boys better state looking fer jobs at your local univerities

Senator Specter didn't leave the Republican party, the Republican party left him. Has anyone seen the new Pew poll. 27% of Americans now identify themselves as Republicans. A near Watergate low.

Clinton,
Ease up on the nose rubbing. Democrats will soon learn how their Party has left them as well.
Wacko’s control the right – nutjobs control the left – and the majority of Americans have had enough.
If the two Parties weren’t paying-off the Independent Party to play dead, the game would already be over… but that little reality is about to explode as well.

1:44 Independent Party? Are they still around? Didn't they nominate Wallace for President and then disband after he lost?

We are one step closer to losing America (for a short while) to a Communist Regime.
The true Americans; or what is known as the silent majority, believe in individual liberty, less government, controlled immigration and rugged individualism will come back sure enough.
Especially when the traitor, our Boy President releases more propaganda for the Militant Islamists to enjoy (and use for massive recruitment efforts).
Forget the polls folks; there is a Revolution brewing and not even George Soros can stop it. Soros is running this White House. Not some College Professor, 1-Term, Most Liberal Senator from the most corrupt Political Machine in the land. It’s Media Matter, ACORN, The ACLU, Soros and the other Communists.
As for Charlie, come on now, he is a RINO like Arlen. In my opinion, they are the main reason for the state of the Republican Party today. For that, I will do everything I can to see he is not re-elected.
You will have to pry………

The likes of Stemberger, Kemple, Giotis, etc are trying to run the likes of Crist and Specter out of the GOP.

2:42 That is truly chilling.
(Not the silly conspiracy theories, but the idea that you are running lose without your meds)
you will have to squeeze both sides then twist...

THe comparison between Charlie and Specter was made several months ago in American Spectator Magazine here: http://spectator.org/archives/2009/03/24/the-specter-of-a-new-arlen/print

Hey Bubba, I've been predicting for months that the GOP moderates would all join the Democrats and the remaining fascists would just own up to being Libertarians.
