Democrats continue beating GOP in voter registration
Since election day, Democrats have gained 110,951 new voters in Florida, compared 100,019 new independents and 70,946 new Republicans. Put another way, Democrats accounted for more than 39 percent of new voter registrations since October, and Republicans 25 percent.
The good news for the GOP is that they gained 8,281 new voters in June - their best number since October, and perhaps a sign their voter registration push is working. The bad news is Democrats in June gained 14,200 new voters in June, also their best month since October.

The question is HOW MUCH OF THOSE "DEMOCRATIC VOTERS" are fake registration by A.C.O.R.N.
Do you hear dead people?

More money and more voters. Not much left.
Republican leadership right down to the grassroots is causing the party to implode. Workers won't sit for being told who their candidates will be and who'll be allowed to participate; now it's all coming home. Power may be absolute, but when there's nobody left to exercise it on, not so much fun.

The repiggies are drowning in their own whites-only preferred echo chamber.
Of course, they could always blame the rise in Democrat registration on the Clintons, or Obama, or the socialists, or the nazis, or the communists, or the French, or the Europeans, or Al Qaeda, or the gays, or the Jews, or the feminists, etc. Did I leave anyone out?
The repiggies champion the grievances of chubby aging white guys from the South. That's their base; those are the only folks they value.
The repiggie Senators were rather telling about their own biases during the recent grilling of Judge Sotomayor this week.

Get used to it -- new 18 year olds lean Dem by more than 20 points.
That accounts for most of the registration gap.

With ACORN running the voter registrations, is this really a shock?
Posted by: .... | July 16, 2009 at 05:27 PM
Well, considering that it was the Republicans that didn't even follow their own law about registering as third party voter groups, my guess would be that they have lots of fraud in their registrations. I can't wait to do the public requests to find out! And by the way, ACORN isn't doing any voter registration drives right now--the only "drives" that are occurring is the "driving" by the Republican whack jobs like yourself that are driving people out of your party.

Looks like the Independent registration movement is gaining steam. Maybe the electorate is finally beginning to "smell the coffee?"
Both parties are bankrupt ethically and philosophically at least in this state. Republicans losing out because they are more ideologically bankrupt, while the Dems are merely an extension of the Republicans leaving the voters little choice.
Leaving the voters with either more of the same, or, more of the same. The ONLY difference being just swapping letters of PArty after the name on the ballot.
This fact is reflected in more folks opting for the capitol I or NPA on their registration because they are sick of the disaster that both parties operating as ONE have created.

WHY should I vote has got it right. Both major parties are so focused on increasing personal power at the expense of actually representing their constituents, that they have collectively turned off much of the electorate.
D Harvill misses the point in failing to recognize the near parity in Independent registration as Democratic. There are new Democrats but also new Independents some of which are former Dems.
If the Democrats offered a reasonable combination of Integrity and competency, a significant portion of that 100k New Indies would be added to the newly minted Democrats.
Until the Florida Democratic Party offers something other than falsely based self-congratulatory BS, they will remain overwhelmingly outnumbered one way or the other.
If the National Dems screw up Health Care and try cramming mandatory Corporate insurance down our throats fostering bipartisanship at the cost of authenticity, they will be ousted in droves.

Congress's chief budget analyst delivered a devastating assessment yesterday of the health-care proposals drafted by congressional Democrats, fueling an insurrection among fiscal conservatives in the House and pushing negotiators in the Senate to redouble efforts to draw up a new plan that more effectively restrains federal spending.
Under questioning by members of the Senate Budget Committee, Douglas Elmendorf, director of the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, said bills crafted by House leaders and the Senate health committee do not propose "the sort of fundamental changes" necessary to rein in the skyrocketing cost of government health programs, particularly Medicare. On the contrary, Elmendorf said, the measures would pile on an expensive new program to cover the uninsured.
Though President Obama and Democratic leaders have repeatedly pledged to alter the soaring trajectory -- or cost curve -- of federal health spending, the proposals so far would not meet that goal, Elmendorf said, noting, "The curve is being raised." His remarks suggested that rather than averting a looming fiscal crisis, the measures could make the nation's bleak budget outlook even worse.
Elmendorf's blunt language startled lawmakers racing to meet Obama's deadline for approving a bill by the August break.

The real crime is voter purging.
Prior to the 08 election the Republican party went on a voter purge rampage in some situations purging 10% of voters from rolls and most due to improper change of address and even an an omission of a middle initial! Voter registration fraud is seldom over single digits.
In other words, improper voter purging is done far more often then voter registration fraud possibly as high as 1000 to 1 ratio.
Why does the republican party want no paper trail voting machines and voter purges due to an error at the DMV ?
The Republicans DO NOT WANT ALL AMERICANS TO VOTE!
Remember, every time you hear about acorn the republicans are trying to soften up Americans to the idea of further limiting voter drives.
Improper purges number in the millions, how many known voter registration fraud cases are there??

No big deal here. Obama, Pelosi and Reid are planning to grant ammnesty to upwards of 30 Million illegals which will surely all vote for the National Socialist American Workers’ Party (Democrats).
We will have a permanent underclass of non-english speaking, unskilled voters selecting our leaders for generations.
Doesn't that make you feel all warm and fuzzy?

Its just like the trillions Bush set us back in debt and that's OK but the Obama debt? OMG that just unAmerican!!!

Of course Democrats are out pacing Republicans in voter registration -- they give better treats.
Benjamin Franklin said, "Place before the eyes of such men a post of honor, that shall, at the same time, be a place of profit, and they will move heaven and earth to obtain it."
Who knew he was talking about the voters?

The morally corrupt Republicans even stooped to the lowest of lows attempting to keep Democrats from voting and they still lost.
right here in Florida Jeb hired a company to purge almost 90k voters, closer examination of this list proved 95% WERE eligible to vote!
"The Election Protection Wiki tracked a widespread effort in which text messages were sent to Democrats in several states, advising them they should avoid the lines and vote Wednesday. This happened in Missouri, Florida, Minnesota, Montana, Idaho, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Virginia and other states. Similarly voters in Missouri and other states reported receiving robo-calls with a similar message. Also, in Florida Democratic voters were called and told they could avoid lines by voting by phone, given a number to call, and after "voting" were told they didn't have to go to the polls."

I'm not sure why I need to tell you this but, illegals CAN NOT VOTE, THEY ARE ILLEGAL.
As far as your idiotic comment on "guest workers", you are all wrong there too. Guest workers are those whom follow the proper channels; are known to our government and work here legally. They are not the wetbacks that sneak into the country in the dead of night to suck off the gov't teet right next to the likes of you.
Also, your ignorance is blatant in that you do not know that many guest workers (here legally) actually earn much more than minimum wage. Enough to send Billions back to their family in Mexico. You call that inhumane? Dolt!
If there are some, ILLEGAL ALIENS that are abused due to their ILLEGAL STATUS, F-them.
Reagan did what he had to do, but at the time said THAT WE WOULD PROTECT AGAINST THE INVASION OF ILLEGALS. As you know, our representatives of all stripes failed to protect us from the influx and in some cases caused it to swell with FREE HEALTHCARE, SOCIAL SECURITY AND OTHER BENEFITS MANY AMERICANS DO NOT ENJOY.
As far as GWB and McCain, have you noticed they lost their CONSERVATIVE support? This was due to their stance on Amnesty for Illegals, run away LIBERAL spending and their inability to stand up to the National Socialist American Workers' Party; otherwise known as the Democrap Party.
‘The eye sees only what the mind is prepared to comprehend.’

10:41 (Tom)
The truth is the truth and facts are facts. I know that is difficult for you to comprehend because of your inability to take a stand on anything.
Bush was the better of 2 evils. Gore and Kerry would have been disasters of epic proportions because they would have spent more than Bush AND let the Islamo-Fascists run right over us. (like our present Dear Leader)
The economy tanked because we gave free money and houses to those unable to ever pay it back. Then taking those bad mortgages and bundling them into securities was a disaster.
If you believe that Bush or the Republicans were solely responsible for that mess; you are a bigger idiot than I thought. The National Socialist American Workers’ Party (Democraps) were all over that one with CRA, GLB and more.
With that said; how you go from your Bush Derangement Syndrome to electing a person we all knew was a flat out Socialist is mind-boggling.
Kinda like drinking rat poison with a cyanide chaser.
