Here she comes to RPOF event: Miss California 2009
For anyone wishing that Bruce Jenner would hand over keynote speaker duties to his curvaceous stepdaughter Kim Kardashian during the RPOF's upcoming youth event in Orlando, take solace in this bit of news: beauty queen Carrie Prejean, Miss California 2009 and Miss USA 2009 runnerup, will be a guest speaker.
The RPOF’s Drive the Discussion Exchange ’09 youth event is August 22 at the Gaylord Palms Resort.
Prejean is the model from Vista, California who garnered gained national attention over her answer to a question about same-sex marriage during the Miss USA 2009 pageant.
Drive the Discussion Exchange is planned as a gathering for young Floridians to discuss "the future of the Republican Party," but people of all ages can come. RPOF leaders recently announced that former Olympian Bruce Jenner, more recently of reality show "Meet the Kardashians" fame, will be the keynote.
And if you're wondering, blog readers (esp. of the male contingent) -- yes, we asked if Kim Kardashian will be there. So far, nothing is confirmed.

Tell her to bring copies of her nude photos to sign!

Isn't she actually the "Former Miss California" - stripped of the title for not keeping her hate to herself?
Oh, wait this is a Republican event.
Nevermind.
Posted by: You've got to be kidding me - hahahahaha | July 17, 2009 at 04:18 PM
She's conservative?
This doesn't play into Thurman's "old, rich, white men" talking points at all.
How does that work?
Posted by: Wow | July 17, 2009 at 04:22 PM
Dang, she be cute. What about her upsets ya'll democan'ts so much?

4:22 brainless evangelical?

You are right, just like Perez Hilton posted such a classy and respectable YouTube video immediately following her answer on marriage.
Stop drinking the Cool-Aid Pal.
Posted by: her hate to herself | July 17, 2009 at 04:26 PM
It appears that her cuteness is only skin deep.
Posted by: succubus | July 17, 2009 at 04:27 PM
Funny her coming to the Gaylord. This crew sounds more appropriate for a plastic surgeons' convention with all the curves and the "white Michael Jackson" of face surgery-Bruce Jenner.
It would be more fun if that past Miss South Carolina gave the main speech at the conference explaining what needs to be done in Florida republican politics.

The RPOF pressrelease started with:
Tallahassee–The Republican Party of Florida today announced Carrie Prejean is a model and former beauty queen from Vista, California.
Umm I guess Greer gets to tell us what we are?
Those people are dumb.
Posted by: wow RPOF is dumb | July 17, 2009 at 04:37 PM
Has anyone warned her to stay away from Greer?

Love those young people. I think I will attend.
Posted by: Boca Grande | July 17, 2009 at 04:47 PM
Gee - I wonder if John Stemberger paid for her airfare?
Posted by: calfloridia | July 17, 2009 at 05:00 PM
I'm attending. I can't vote yet, but it will be fun. :)

All plastic parts and artificial good looks. How appropriate

Her knockers will live on long after she is dead. God only knows what sort of stuff is in those implants.
Posted by: how 'bout them repiggies | July 17, 2009 at 05:38 PM
She has as much right to her opinion on any subject as any one of you. She has said nothing hateful. I hope if the Dems pass their hate legislation people won't be so quick to verbally disrespect others merely because their opinions do not align with their own.
Posted by: tomorons | July 17, 2009 at 06:29 PM
GOD, I guess Miss California will be presenting the RPOF 2009/2010 Social Platform whilst Bruce Jenner may present the 2009/2010 Economic Platform.

None of you ever met her, so for you to pass judgement on her goes against everything you believe. I'm sure you all want her to pass judgement on you as well. I bet every mother would be happy to have her son bring her home - and every father too! Oh, and how do you know she has plastic parts and why is that an issue to you liberals? Sounds like hate speech to me. You can say whatever you want as long as I agree with it? Look up the definition of "two-faced".

TBYR will be there in force. I complain against the RPOF so much, I might as well be there to support them in giving a legitimate attempt at actually listening to our young republican voice. Hope there's a Q&A session with Greer. ;-)

I heard that Kim's butt has its own Congressman!
Posted by: Jimbo Jones | July 17, 2009 at 08:19 PM
God can the Republicans get any more pathetic?
They really like those former beauty queens, that can't fulfill their duties that they've pledged to fulfill.
How about a "Palin / Prejean 2012". LOL

What's her stage name? Does Greer have a job waiting for her?
Posted by: GOPerGroper | July 17, 2009 at 10:00 PM
Sure, thats what the Republican party needs. Is this a joke? Bring on more extremist? Especially a dumb one. You white rich guys still don't get it that your kind of "conservative" the extremist faction and the corrupt of the R party are the reason the party is so fractured and dying. They are the minority. Most Republicans want Government out of their lives and pockets. Will you ever learn? Do you really think this was a smart move? Please boys, move over and let the Republican females run things for awhile. You are killing us.

She's hot!!
Posted by: Carl | July 18, 2009 at 01:32 AM
If Kim Kardashian had a seat in Congress, her butt would cover both sides of the aisle.
Posted by: Bigg | July 18, 2009 at 09:39 AM
This is the funniest thing I have heard in a long time. I cant believe what is happening here. They invite her to try to tug at the heart strings and to encite the extreme right, the same extreme right who loved Palin, while pretty much all the others coud not stand her. They really thing this woman will energize their party members. Well I can tell you this Republican, who opposes the meddling extreme right faction of the party, this will alienate me and many other Republucans. You continue to turn a blind eye to the how the majority of Republicans are telling you. ANd the selection of this person to be a keynote speaker says to me it is the same old morons running the show. The same vindictive mean spirited people who are ingoring and trying to push out many real Republucans. This is the best speaker you ould come up with?
Posted by: me | July 18, 2009 at 10:32 AM
There's nothing like RPOF pimping out a beauty queen in their efforts to stop the decline in party registration.
Btw, isn't she the one who artificially inflated her "assets" the same way all of those republican bankers inflated theirs?
Posted by: Cynical Idealist | July 18, 2009 at 10:33 AM
The previous two said it all. How funny is this!
Posted by: Last Gasp | July 18, 2009 at 10:52 AM
I get it. The evangelical extreme are attracted to silicone. When Greer thought this one up it must have been a "breezy day". Remember that statement? She did her tittie photo only because there was a breeze. We have economic devastation in this country, people out in the street losing their homes, sick people who cannot BUY thir health care, small and large business struggling to stay in business and they pick this woman to be the keynote spkr.
Posted by: Give me a break | July 18, 2009 at 10:57 AM
I think Carrie Prejean is really Anita Bryant in drag.
Posted by: Maybe | July 18, 2009 at 11:41 AM
Will "Joe the Plumber" get to introduce her? LOL
Is there anyone with an IQ over 90 left in the GOP
Posted by: NoneyaBiz | July 18, 2009 at 01:07 PM
Maybe all you democrats would rather see the new fat head Senator from Minn. who used to be on Saturday Night Live?
Posted by: Alice | July 18, 2009 at 06:23 PM
I am not too familiar With the RPOF, but I would like to form the DOMNNAT ( Dirty old men need attention too).
Can you tell me if she will be available?
Posted by: Paul | July 18, 2009 at 06:28 PM
The RPOF is losing young people and young voters by the second and this is their strategy?
Posted by: Agapitos | July 18, 2009 at 07:09 PM
Could the time be far off when she becomes the next Fox News Bunny?
Posted by: Doorworker | July 18, 2009 at 07:11 PM
10:00 her stage name is "Fanny Values" and yes, Greer does have a position he'd like to discuss with her.

This is one of the funniest threads on the blog. Somehow I don't think nearly as many men, uh, I mean people would have posted if some average looking person were coming. Have to say the Kim Kardashian butt jokes were funny, though. Carrie Prejean AND Kim Kardashian at the event? For you men, who of you would even care what they said? Bruce Jenner must have an awesome agent. I didn't even know he was still alive. He's certainly not relevant.

Some of you “it’s all about equality” so-called Americans are freaking whacked in the head, and your blatant hypocrisy is stomach-turning. This woman did nothing more than answer a direct question with her honest opinion… do you get that?... her “opinion”. Something she has a right to have by virtue of our Constitution; something most of you couldn’t spell, let alone comprehend. And it’s a perfect example of why the GLBT community is as discriminative, corrupt, dysfunctional, hypocritical, and pea brained as those they accuse of the same.
You have the credibility of a common thief and the integrity of an adulterer. And that’s exactly why your un-natural and un-healthy lifestyle choice will remain tolerated, but not accepted by the vast majority – no matter how much you whine, attack, extort, or threaten in an attempt to force you dangerous and immoral lifestyle choice down the throats of decent society.
Bottom Line: Two wrongs don't make a right, and two men can't make a baby.
Try dealing with the reality of nature as we tolerate the un-natural.

10:57 AKA Republican religious extremist, anti Constitution, and "I know best of what everyones morals should be". Who is talking about what she had to say, that's her belief and that's fine, unlike you and your kind, I have no problem with people having a differing opinion. The problem is she is not a good choice for this dying hypocritical party to be the speaker at this event. And the party that keeps getting caught in situations like "The Governor is hiking the Appalacian trail", or "he was just tapping his toes in the men's room" should not be trying to shove down our throats anything to do with what they think to be the proper morals of this country.
Posted by: Get it right | July 19, 2009 at 12:07 PM
12:07 AKA Democrat nutjob extremist, anti natural order, and "I haven't a damn cluse what morals are". The entire issue is due to a freak who asked a question he/she/it had no buisness asking in the first place... you freaking simp... so bite me you hypocrite!
Posted by: Get it straight | July 19, 2009 at 06:27 PM
If you were wondering; the treatment she received from the Gay Run Media (NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN et al) falls under the definition of Fascism.
She responded to a question and was hammered for it. The irony is that her opinion is shared by Obama and many other national leaders; the majority of California voters and voters in 14 states where the question was put forth on a ballot.
I guess freedom of speech is reserved for the chosen few.

Get it Right, did you read the Pravda West (SP Times) on Sunday?
There was a great book review on JFK and the revolving door his mistresses used in the White House. Apparently, in your mind, morals are only applied when it is a Republican.
Lets not even talk about Barney Frank and the Gay Brothel he ran from his apartment or Bill Clinton shoving cigars into fat interns in the White House.
Also, please spare us your advice on who should speak at our events. Your opinion is not welcome.
