Lopez-Cantera raps PSC over PINs

From a news release:

House Majority Whip Carlos Lopez-Cantera (R-Miami) issued the following statement regarding calls today for the Inspector General of the Public Service Commission to investigate Public Service Commissioners’ conduct:

“The PIN messages sent and received by Commissioner Nancy Argenziano and released by the PSC, coupled with their discussion of private emails so far unreleased and sent to non-public accounts in an attempt to evade public scrutiny, raise serious questions about Commissioner Argenziano’s impartiality and her ability to give a fair hearing to those appearing before her.

“Also unsettling is for Commissioner Lisa Edgar to tell the Miami Herald ‘I don't PIN, it's just not something I do’ only to find numerous PIN’s from her appearing in newly released records.  Her statements deserve serious questioning as well.

“An investigation into the Commissioners’ actions is in order to give assurance to Floridians that their Public Service Commissioners are conducting themselves under the oath of office that they have taken.  The last few weeks have revealed a culture at the PSC that needs to be disinfected.  If the PSC, as an arm of the Legislature, is unwilling to handle their own problems, it may be time for the Legislature to reform their organization for them.”

Representative Lopez-Cantera serves on the Public Service Commission Nominating Council.

Rep. "Sissy Boy" Lopez-Cantera is the one that is being investigated for his connection with his father's companies and the influence he uses to benefit himself financially. Any reason Sissy Boy pushed for lobbyist Luis Rojas to be on the PSC? inquiring minds want to know!

stay out of it

Hey 415 aka Robaina shouldn't you be installing a phone line somewhere?

Sissy Boy Lopez Cantera is probably going to have to explain why he was interfering on Miami Dade taxing issues in order to benefit his father the developer.

Did Luis Rojas represent the Lopez-Cantera family when Rep. Lopez-Cantera was pushing Rojas to be a PCS Commissioner?

The story here Argenziano, not Lopez-Cantera. He SHOULD be calling for an investigation. There are multiple instances of improper communications, inappropriate comments, spying on fellow psc colleagues, and manipulating the process.

Go read the pins at http://aif.com/Argenziano_Records.pdf and look for yourself. A complete investigation should result in her prompt resignation.

Nancy Argenziano should resign or be tossed out on her posterior. She is no friend of the public.

How lame is that? What are you 12? Carlos is right on point here and it's only people who don't like his message that are trying to attack him. Go Carlos - keep digging.

This is the pot calling the kettle black. Legislators are still pinning or using new "party supplied" blackberrys to message and pin!

Anyone have the guts to put CLC's PIN on this blog? That would be fun.
