Charlie Crist expounds on his non-endorsement of stim package?

From a press gaggle with Gov. Charlie Crist over the stimulus package. Did he endorse it?

Crist: "I don’t think so. I don’t think so. The bill that passed wasn’t exactly what I would want to vote for. But it’s what passed. And once that happened, you need to realize you need to do everything you possibly can to fight for Florida and our fellow Floridians, whether they’re school teachers, construction workers or whatever it might be. And so once this happens, you know, I think it’s important to embrace it, fight for Florida’s fair share and do what’s right for the state."

Crist: "What’s going on here is a realization that we need to utilize those funds on behalf of the people of Florida for their benefit. As you’re probably aware, there’s discussion about whether there should be a second stimulus, I don’t think that there should. I think that this one has to take hold. It seems to me that, unfortunately, the president’s answer to almost every challenge that is facing our country is to spend more money. That isn’t necessarily the recipe for success in my view."

Charlie Crist is the 2010 election cycle version of John Kerry. He was for the stimulus before he was against it.

Why would you be a fraid of endorsing the stimulus package? It's a great way for Republicans to attone for their guilt in voting for Bush - twice, and causing the Great Reagan-Bush Depression of 2008. If not for Republicans and their failed policies, we would never have needed a stimulus, right? In fact, it's beginning to look like one's not enough. Thanks Republicans for all the future debt.

So basically, Crist was out to an early 2 touchdown lead, Rubio drove down the field and punched one in and with this, Crist has just fumbled on the kick off and turned the ball over at his own 30 yard line.

Is Crist still ahead? Yes. But he's opened the door for Rubio and Big Mo is moving in the Rubio's direction.

Just keep spinning, just keep spinning......

Crist has fumbled a few, but Rubio's 3 and done on every posession. A few of the fans are cheering for Marco, but they're ones who show up to drink too much and punch up the decent folks trying to watch the game.

Charlie Crist is a piece of....work. He makes me want to vomit. You can tell when he is lying...his lips move. Gig's up.

Another Football Analogy,

Rubio may go three and out, but he's already in field goal range, and those are easy. Scoring 3 over and over is better than not scoring at all due to fumbles.

Hey Gov,

Al Gore is on the phone, he says he wants his flip-flops and his climate change schtick back.

You know the man now. You can see he has nowhere to go. He's begging to be set free. He's had enough.

Charlie should consider jumping into AG's race. He might be able to beat his LG and Benson...might.

Charlie gives empty suits a bad name. I have never seen a politician as void of principles. Charlie only cares about Charlie.

The Senate primary is the 2006 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.

Charlie Crist = Ohio State

Marco Rubio = Florida Gators

Charlie's track record of loyalty:

*He pledges to endorse Rudy G for Pres but back's out when polls change.
*He thenendorses McCain, campaigns non-stop around county for VP, but does nothing to help his good friend John once he selected Palin as his running mate. Charlie then even allows (instructs?) Greer to leave money unspent in RPOF coffers when Florida was a key swing State and McCain had a shot to win.
*He no-shows Jeb and is derelict in his offical Cabinet duties so he can kiss up to then popular President Obama and support stimulus, only now jump ship and deny it all happened since the political winds have changed.

Very loyal guy our Governor is...you stay classy Charlie Crist.

actually his eyebrows go up and down.
the guy is freakin hilarious to watch.
he can't even fake it good!

11:32 Sebastian I heard you got traded - to the Brownshirts. Good luck kickin' those 90 yarders for the little Gestapo.

12:59, you're right. His eyebrows go up and down. Radio host Mark Levin recently made fun of him for that, among other things. Priceless!

Of course Lindsay Graham likes Crist. Birds of a feather.
