GOP insurgent challenges Brown-Waite, cites her Scozzafava support

U.S. Rep. Ginny Brown-Waite's support for New York Republican Dede Scozzafava's doomed campaign is emerging as an issue in the Brooksville Republican's re-election.

Republican Jason Sager, a political neophyte from Brooksville, filed to run against Brown-Waite in 2010, telling the Times' Tony Marrero that he stands for conservatives concerned about a government that has strayed from the principles of the Founding Fathers.Sager said he was concerned about Brown-Waite's support for Scozzafava.

The congresswoman, an Albany, N.Y. native, refused to answer questions about why she went to New York to campaign for Scozzafava just days before the state lawmaker dropped from the race and endorsed the Democrat. But in an interview last week, Brown-Waite said Scozzafava was being unfairly attacked and had a solid Republican record.

does this mean that there is someone even MORE BAT-KRAP KRAZEEEE in that district than our own ginny, who isnt already locked up and heavily sedated?

"this is gonona be great!", flounder in "animal house".

haha, kinda funny, The Conservatives and the nutjobs are challenging each other. I thought the GOP was on a comeback, i guess the cart is being pulled in multiple directions and isn't going anywhere.

I'm personally tired of the same old crap. I like Jim Piccillo! A former military man, with a conservative business background. We need more people like Jim to not only run, but also win!

Jim Piccillo for District 5!!!!!

Ginny must be politically bipolar. How could she endorse both Scozzawhatever and Rubio?

Briwn-Waite is not living up to the true ideals of conservatism. We must work hard to primary her out of office.

I'm sorry, but Ginny's time has passed. Today's GOP, the GOP of Ginny and others like her, lost its Founding Principles and its direction awhiles back.

All that matters to her and others like her is to keep their fat salaries, their free cars, their loyal staffs, their long list of bennies and perks, and to save their cushy seats.

Ginny and her comfortable, entrenched GOP are out of touch, out of the mainstream, out of the lives of folks like me: We need a younger, hungrier kind of Republican to bring this Party back to its guiding Principles.

Come on, Jason, it's your time.

Yeees Yeees my preeties. Fight amongst yourselves...Yessss, the teabagers are right its about time to purge all the RINOs out the party, yeees.

The moderates are right, Republicans can only win if they run more moderate candidates and run less partisan campaigns (hello Christy and McDonell!! and not so fast Doug Hoffman! lol)...fight back moderates at these morons who will doom your party. yeeeeesssss

Fight and give in, only then will your Sith training be complete..er, sorry I got into Emperor Palpatine character there. haha

brown-waite is not even loyal to her employees or former employees..... given then chance she will stab you in the back and then she might ask if it hurts, then again she might not care.
