Democratic chair threatens Bill Nelson, wants Karen Thurman out

Lest you think only the Florida Republican party is chock full of infighting, here's a missive from Miami-Dade Democratic Chairman B.J. Chiszar, calling for the resignation of state Democratic chairwoman Karen Thurman. And here's a mass e-mail about Nelson:

"THE FIGHT ISN'T OVER JUST YET! THE SENATE MUST ACT NOW!

I am instructing everyone of you and your families & friends to place 1 call to Senator Bill Nelson's office in Tallahassee (ask for Pete Mitchell)....850-942-8415 - Tell them that if they want  the Democratic voters in Miami-Dade to vote for him in 2012 and do not want Chairman BJ Chiszar to find a primary opponent, then we expect him to support a Senate Bill with a public option. The Miami office (less effective to call) is 305-536-5999!"

Isn't he asking for a QPQ? Promise of political support in return for a vote

He sounds Crazeeeeee

Hey BJ, you sound like a raving lunatic. Sounds like the FDP ought to be asking for your resignation.

Go crazy around some place else. You're making the party look bad.

Hahahahahaheheheheheharharhar....Just when you think crazy can't get any crazier!!!! There's something in the political air that is eating logic and common sense from politicians' brains!

join the ranks of rubio and the ron paul far right loonies

doesn't really matter much what kind of in-fighting is happening with the Dems - all of them are going to be flushed out of office with the Obamacrats in 2010.

Primarying Nelson would be a good thing...dude is waaaaaaay too comfy in his incumbency.

Let's keep it straight: The teabaggers are nuts for the POLICIES they prefer, not for the power plays they're executing against their party establishments.

Calling for the FDP Chair, who happens to be on the Republican payroll and forced a sure loser in Meek on us, to resign... oh yeah... he’s crazy alright! What will he call for next; a winning strategy and some loyalty?... what a nutcase huh...

... saps

Hard to believem but this turkey is even more arrogant that Greer!

"I am INSTRUCTING YOU..." Who the heck does he think he is???

BJ sounds like an embarssament

"Who the heck does he think he is???"

I'm guessing he's someone who's sick of DINOs.

I would rather see Bill Nelson be replaced with a Republican. I will email and tell him to ignore you and keep Karen Thurman.

POOR IGNORANT AMERICANS

It is NOT a Republican problem, it is NOT a Democrat problem, it IS an AMERICAN problem!

The way to FIX the problem, TERM LIMITS ON CONGRESS. These neer-do-wells that get elected to Congress FOR LIFE is the problem. The REASON they spend their LIFE in Congress, is that they are NOT fit to do ANYTHING in the PUBLIC sector.

Congress is the WELFARE system for the RICH and STUPID!

KNOW THE TRUTH!

Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto is portrayed at the very end of the 1970 film Tora! Tora! Tora!, and in the 2001 film Pearl Harbor, as saying after his attack on Pearl Harbor, "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve."

WAKE UP YOU SLEEPING GIANT, the threat is from WITHIN!

"Gentlemen, we have just kicked a rabid dog." This would have been a tactical metaphor and not intended as an insult, since he was generally fond of America and Americans.

Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto

Let's show them what a rabid dog can do!

Military-industrial complex

President of the United States (and former General of the Army) Dwight D. Eisenhower used the term in his Farewell Address to the Nation on January 17, 1961:

A vital element in keeping the peace is our military establishment. Our arms must be mighty, ready for instant action, so that no potential aggressor may be tempted to risk his own destruction...

This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence — economic, political, even spiritual — is felt in every city, every statehouse, every office of the federal government. We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. Our toil, resources and livelihood are all involved; so is the very structure of our society. In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals so that security and liberty may prosper together.

The Emperor's New Clothes

"The Emperor's New Clothes" (Danish: Kejserens nye Klæder) is a literary fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen about two weavers who promise an Emperor a new suit of clothes invisible to those unfit for their positions or "stupid". When the Emperor parades before his subjects in his new clothes, a child cries out, "But he isn't wearing anything at all!" The tale has been translated into over a hundred languages.

"Nelson said most of the public option advocates "don't have a clue," about what it would take to create such a plan. "The whole thing is so complicated you can't expect them to understand."

Chiszar ... Schmiszar.

The Fight was over when the Democrats failed to get it together before the Summer recess. Why do you think Obama was so insistent that the whole thing be signed, sealed and delivered by then? Now, everybody is thinking about what a disaster this is and about their own re-elections. The more time passes the worse it will be.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

In 2000 Bill Nelson defeated Bill McCollum who touted his service as a House Impeachment Manager that tied the Federal government in knots in Bill Clinton’s last term. It was obvious from the start that the Senate would not convict Clinton but McCollum and his cronies insisted on that impeachment. What a colossal waste of time and money!

In 2006 Bill Nelson was opposed by (gasp) Katherine Harris, otherwise known as the campaign gift that keeps on giving. Six years after the 2000 election debacle it had become clear that the election was stolen not by hanging chads but by the disenfranchisement of thousands of legitimately registered voters. What was worse, that playbook was transferred to Ohio to steal the 2004 election.

It is obvious that Bill Nelson is a prime defender of the incompetent and ethically challenged Chair of the Florida Democratic Party and the day of reckoning will be 2012 when Bill Nelson has to face a real challenger instead of the flawed opponents of 2000 and 2006.

BJ Chiszar is a malcontent, arrogant incompetent spoiled brat who was fired by the DNC, the FDP and the Obama campaign during the 2008 presidential campaign. He then surfaced in a congressional campaign in South Florida. These people are recycled by cronies in political campaigns who really don't care if the candidate for which they are working win or not. It's like a mafia.

BJ is a waste. A bald headed twit, who is trying to destroy the party from inside.

He'll get his.
