Winner and loser of the week

Deutch Winner of the Week: State Sen. Ted Deutch. It looks more and more like the first term Democratic legislator from Boca Raton will walk into the Congressional seat Robert Wexler is vacating to take a well-paid middle east policy advocate job. No serious rival has emerged, Wexler essentially hand-picked his successor for a heavily Democratic district the well-regarded Deutch can probably hold as long as he likes.

Loser of the week: Department of Juvenile Justice Secretary Frank Peterman. Peterman Spending $44,000 in taxpayer money on travel over two years? Much of it to and from your home area? Come on, Frank. Tighten your belt and fix your political antenna or your own six-figure state salary will be be in jeopardy. Maybe you need to let somebody else do your St. Pete preaching gig for awhile.

Just substitute Kottkamp everywhere it says Peterman and Fort Myers everywhere it says Saint Petersburg.

Now it is going around that Kottkamp is skipping work to hold campaign events.

Uh-oh !

Well, considering Benson is no longer employed she should be a fulltime campaigner. No skipping work anymore, eh Holly? Raise that much needed money to pay all of your consultants who only have you in the race to fill their own pockets.

And no, McCollum is not going to pick you as a running mate, either. Better find a job.

Peterman = Kottkamp

Now, that's funny....

I'd say Crist was a bigger loser. He's beginning campaigning for "No reason. No reason." More Rothstein news. Another strawpoll blowout loss to Rubio. Out of state looking for cash again....

As FL's unemplyment reaches highest lvl in 24 yrs, Charlie Crist is pictured at lunch at ESPN Zone in NY.

Hey Peter(man)! Watch out for the cornhole ok?

It seems Holly's entire campaign is her posting a weekly comment about Kottkamp. In the meantime, he's raising money and getting endorsements.

Hollykins (stanky skanky) is pathetic.

Kottkamp is raising money and getting endorsements...---...and nothing else. Is he governing? Nope. Is he attending the appointments and events he is paid by the taxpayers to attend? Nope.

Is he taking credit for things he has absolutely nothing to do with? Yes. Will he be exposed for doing so? Yes. Is Kottkamp spending full time raising money and begging for endorsements as the sitting Lieut Governor? Yes.

It seems Kottkamps entire campaign is posting some comment about sex or personal lives of others. Is the Kottkamp Bimbo Patrol obsessed? No doubt.

Keep it coming Pensa-HO-la.

For a country founded on the enlightened rhetoric of intelligent men, this blog is a pathetic reminder of how far we've fallen. Especially in NWFlaw.

Say goodbye to the Peterman scandal. Melinda Miguel will perform another disappearing act while the same tired cast of characters rip and run with unlimited access to taxpayer funds. Adding insult to injury, the powers that be will be boo-hoo cryin' about the next budget and how "we don't have enough money."

Holly handlers--make sure to buy a case of Proactive. That acne issue will be a problem on camera.

justice secretary who supposedly supports prevention and intervention tried to cut youth shelters statewide ?
The $44K he spent on travel could have provided prevention services for 44 more children in need. Wonder what his schedule at his st. pete office is ? I would public record request his calendar. How many support staff does he have? how many staff from his church?Does he hire himself a secretary in Tallahassee and a secretary in St.Petersburg? instead he lets his budget get cut, stops his staff from traveling, but His Deputy? Doesn't he live in Orlando? Where does he stay in Tallahassee, a hotel, an apartment, with a friend? Does he drive his car or a state car? Isn't there a rule against commuting to your home n a state car so many miles from headquarters ?
Hmm....dIdn't he try to cut the children's shelters and girls programs to give money to his friend that created the zip code software?
naah he wouldnt do that. he is a man of the cloth

these personal attacks on Benson are regrettably typical of the bimbo sycophants that populate the Kottkamp camp. Anyone know who would be behind sleezy tactics like this?

10:16 you are full of it (or yourself) You losers have been attacking Kottcamp from Day 1...no one is impressed by your tactics or your candidate...

Would all the Kottcamp and Benson staffers get off this blog. We need to focus on the winner and loser of this week!

cornhole, lol!

to gater hater:

The difference between Peterman and Love is that Love is usually at the office on Mondays and Fridays. He leaves work after the work week is over and he comes back on Sunday nights.

The personal attacks against Holly are so typical... these type of atttacks are never leveled against men, just women. It appears the Kottkamp people are trying the same strategies used against Palin. But this is a primary not a general, so it will backfire.

Peterman is an example of Charlie's pandering gone awry. He could've chosen any number of people who were qualified and actually live in Tallahassee.

7:11---we are all tired of that pathetic argument...its not about gender...its about competence, experience, principles and character--and on all counts your candidate fails.

This Peggy Peterman's kid?

Why can't Kottkamp land CC's money man in St. Pete? The only guy raising money for Kottkamp is John Morgan from all his low-life trial lawyer friends.

9:07... no, actually Morgan has raised very little for him. His fellow lawyers are raising alot. And, he also is getting help from Al Hoffman, Gary Morse (the Villages), Hjalma Johnson, the owner of the Jax Jaguars, the owner of the Orlando Magic, tons of business people and on and on and on...

What is really funny is that all those "endorsements" Holly put up on her website are now turning out to be misrepresented. In fact, one even demanded that she remove his name from her website and most of the others have been calling Kottkamp telling him that they did not endorse her and had no idea she was going to put that on her site.

9:48 is Head Bimbo Cindy K.

How would you know? How about highlighting the fact that his former, (and likely current) boss John Morgan is raising very little for his boy Kottkamp ! That is a good thing? Why trying to distance yourself from Morgan, Cindy?

Look at the list of supporters she lists. What do they all have in common? RUBIO SUPPORTERS one and all!

12:30 should know all about bimbos. Holly is the best example I have ever seen.

BTW do these names sound familiar - Gene, Dennis, Joe...and many, many more.

No one respects Benson. She is not smart, she is skanky and she made alot of enemies at DBPR.

This lie is still on Kottkamp website

Jeff Kottkamp for Florida Attorney General Campaign
Raises Over $180,000 in Two and a Half Weeks

Division of Elections disagrees

Who's not smart?

From the Florida Division of Elections:

Jeff Kottkamp
Monetary - $175,919.00
In Kind - $6,280.92

Total - $182,199.00

Last time I checked, In kinds were donations (which is why you have to report them). Dumba*s

Oh, and that should be "Kottkamp doesn't mind lying", not "Kottkamp don't mind lying". You smart girl, you.

Kottkamp seems quite proud of that tiny take of his. those in the know and the media have pointed out the numbers are just sad for a sitting Lt Gov, and has led to speculation about others entering the race. One already has. Today, LeMieux was even asked again at a meeting of party faithful if he is interested in running.

Not much konfidence in KottKamp Gelber will prevail

9:31 is dead on right, this really says it all

Post on Politics Blog :

"In response to an audience question at today’s Forum Club of the Palm Beaches lunch, LeMieux said he can’t serve in the Senate and run for AG.

“This is the most important time in American history for Florida to have two senators. So as much as I would like to be attorney general — it’s a wonderful position, I was the deputy attorney general (when Crist was AG) — I don’t think I can do both.”

Conservatives everywhere are searching for an alternative to Kottcamp.

Ok, what is the definition of 'usually', Love? Whenever you 'usually' feel like it?

How long does an investigation of Peterman really need to take?

He needs to be dealt with immediately so a new face can come in and do the job.
