Tiffany on a budget (it just looks expensive)
Is the countdown to Christmas setting off panic attacks?
Fear not. Tiffany & Co. has an impressive list of gifts for less than $100. All come wrapped in that robin's egg signature blue box, which screams taste and luxury. No one has to know you were cheap and shopping at the last minute.
Need some ideas?
Consider a crystal gingerbread man ornament, $30, for the aunt who's cooking the big holiday meal this year. Or make the beverage snob in your family happy with a set of two Ridel O Reisling tumblers for $25.
In jewelry, Tiffany runs the full gamut. I think their bling can be overpriced, but great value can be found in the distinctive necklaces, earrings and bracelets. The $150 Tiffany bean, which I received as a gift on my 13th birthday, is still as stylish and classy today as it was in 1992. Ditto for the teardrop pendant, $110, a college graduation gift. And the Bead earrings, $100, which I got in honor of my engagement.
These days, Tiffany has turned its name into a style. The trendy at heart will swoon for the "Return to Tiffany & Co." tag pendant, $100, or become your BFF for the 1837 narrow band ring, $100.
While I don't know many guys who get as excited by the blue box as women do, Tiffany hasn't forgotten that men need gifts too. In fact, they may have had male shoppers in mind with the "Grab and Go" and "Express" popular gifts. All are pre-wrapped and ready for speedy purchase.
If you're still shopping, make those last dollars go further than you'd expect at Tiffany. Or forward this post to anyone still buying gifts for YOU and (hint, hint, hint...) suggest a trip to International Plaza.
